Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an insulated container, in particular of biodegradable Materials, with an inner cup of a along, in particular parallel to one Cut edge bonded blank formed inner jacket and one with this connected bottom part and with a with at least one outer side of the inner cup locally connected insulating jacket whose top edge at least in places with an upper cup opening of the inner cup bordering Mouth roll from below is in attachment. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for Production of such a Isolierbechers, wherein a substantially frusto-conical hollow body is formed from a sector-shaped blank; one Bottom part inserted into the hollow body and both to form an inner cup be connected, an upper, a cup opening surrounding edge of the Inner cup rolled to form a substantially round mouth roll and the Insulating jacket is applied to an outside of the inner cup.
Such an insulating cup, or such a method for producing a Isolierbechers is known from US-A-5226585. This insulating cup is used in particular for storage and consumption of tempered food, like drinks, soups or the like. Through the insulating jacket is intended a Thermal insulation provided, on the one hand, the temperature of the cup filled food sustained longer and on the other hand especially at heated food should avoid uninsulated contact with these.
A disadvantage of such a known cup or in the previously known Manufacturing process is that, overall, the tightness of the cup over in the cup material penetrating liquid is insufficient. Such a mug has several cut edges along the corresponding blanks, from which the Mug is made. These cut edges are usually not sealed or sealed. Such a cutting edge is, for example, on an inner side of the cup and another cutting edge of the same blank is disposed within the mouth roll. Finally, at least one cutting edge of the insulating jacket is adjacent to the mouth roll or in places plant with this arranged.
Is in the insulating cup a liquid or at least liquid contained Food filled, this liquid can, for example, over the cutting edge penetrate into the cup material on the inside of the cup and possibly soften the material and / or splices of the material to form the cup. As a result, the tightness of the cup is adversely affected.
When using the cup as a drinking vessel can also liquid along the Mouth roll reach the above-described further cutting edges and on this penetrate into the cup material. This also leads to a softening of the appropriate materials and, where appropriate, to negatively influence the Thermal insulation through the insulating jacket.
Another disadvantage is to be considered that by penetrated into the cup material Liquid the appearance of the cup can be adversely affected, and, if the cup is even leaking through the liquid that has entered the material, a user may be soiled by the cup contents.
Finally, it should be noted that the contents of such a cup in a Microwave can be heated. As a result, liquid contained in the cup for Bring brought and optionally in the cup material penetrated liquid vaporized and expanded, so that damage to the cup by peeling off corresponding Parts of the mug could occur. US-A-5 769 311 discloses a cup in which a mouth roll with a top edge a protective cover is in contact. First, the mouth roll or a corresponding flange changed in a certain way, leaving a gap on the outside a cover between this and the lower end of the flange not larger than 0.5 mm. This is to produce the corresponding cup facilitate. The appropriate method to fill a gap with these small dimensions To obtain, is characterized by the fact that first pressed the mouth roll flat and then cover the cup up to a certain distance is pushed to the flat pressed mouth roll. The cover is then attached to a attached side wall of the cup and then there is a rebound of the flat-pressed mouth roll due to its inherent elasticity, around the gap between underside the mouth roll and top edge of the cover to reduce. The reverse deformation the mouth roll should in this context take place to such an extent that the bottom gets in abutment with the top edge of the cover. Through this Attachment between both aims at a complete rebound of the mouth roll in their original condition can be prevented.
Regarding a corresponding Mouth roll is this publication only removable, that these from an outward rolled edge of the cup is formed.
The invention is therefore based on the object, the cup, or the Process for its production of the type mentioned above to improve, that a well sealed and sealed mug is obtained which is simple and easy is inexpensive to produce.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of
According to the invention, all may come in contact with the contents of the cup coming cut edges largely sealed and sealed, so that penetration of liquid into the cup material over the cut edges as well as is excluded. The inner cutting edge on the inside of the container is directly sealed and arranged in the mouth roll cutting edge is through Flat pressing the mouth roll also largely by the surrounding material the mouth roll sealed. To continue an upper cut edge along the top edge the insulating jacket also seal, this can be in contact with a due the flat pressing of the mouth roll substantially flat bottom of the mouth roll to be brought. As a result, the cutting edge is at the bottom at the bottom of the Mouth roll, so that an inflow of possibly along the mouth roll more fluid Liquid in this cutting edge is much more difficult.
The fact that liquid no longer penetrate over the cut edges in the cup material can, eliminates softening of the material by the liquid, as described above. That is, the appearance of the mug changed does not and also results in a heating of the cup contents in a microwave no damage to the cup penetrated by the cup material, vaporizing Liquid.
Furthermore, it should be noted in connection with the flat pressed mouth roll that this protrudes radially outward from the cup in comparison to the round mouth roll and therefore, for example, a user's lips of the cup are less in contact with advised the outside of the mug. This will reduce the flow of liquid along the Get the muzzle roll in the direction of the insulating jacket. In addition, the flattened forms Mouth roll at its outer end a kind of drip edge to the liquid far difficult to flow towards insulating jacket, as to the well-known round mouth roll.
The flattened mouth roll still allows by their compared to the round Mouth roll larger area top a simpler attaching and sealing a Cover. Finally, it should be noted that in a round mouth roll on the Bottom a relatively large gap between the mouth roll and insulating jacket respectively Inner cup is formed over the liquid in the mouth roll and also in the Cutting edge of the insulating jacket or between this and the inner cup can penetrate. A considerably narrower gap is between the invention flat-pressed mouth roll and inner container or insulating jacket formed.
In addition, the layers of the mouth roll in the flat pressed state by welding connected together, allowing a recovery of the mouth roll safely is prevented.
In a simple embodiment, a corresponding sealing material is at least along the cutting edge located on the inside of the inner cup applied and sealed this. As the other, above mentioned cut edges usually only a much shorter time in contact with a liquid can on the application of such a sealing material can be dispensed with these cut edges.
A simple production of the seal of the cutting edge or a simple Applying the sealing material results when the sealing material around the Cut edge folded sealing strip is. Such a sealing strip is on a Side of the blank along the cutting edge applied and stands over the cutting edge above. Then the protruding part of the sealing strip around the cutting edge folded over and set on the back of the blank. In this context It should be noted that, for example, a laminated on the blank Sealing film can form the sealing strip with overhang over the cutting edge. Such Sealing foils are laminated on blanks made of paper or cardboard in order to and oil resistant.
In this context, it continues to be considered advantageous if the Sealing material on a polymer material and in particular of a one on the Inside and / or outside of the inner cup laminated sealing film forming Polymer material is. That is, sealing material and sealing foil can be made of the same Be material. A good usable and easy to use material, for example in this context polyethylene.
To seal strip and sealing film when assembling the inner shell or of the inner cup to combine well with each other In contact areas of sealing film and sealing strip so far heated and be pressed against each other, that essentially a welding of sealing strip and sealing film takes place.
In order to also be able to seal the cut edge in the region of the mouth roll, For example, the flattened mouth roll can be considered to be at least two-ply, substantially radial outwardly from the Isolierbecher protruding, from the upper end of the inner cup formed, edge flange of the cup opening may be formed. A seal of the Edge flange can thereby by flat pressing the mouth roll in a heated state done so that the laminated sealing film is partially melted and on its re-cooling and curing it forms the seal. The can different layers of the flat-pressed mouth roll, as already stated above, be welded together over the sealing film.
To obtain an easily manufactured edge flange, an upper layer of the Mouth roll relative to the inner cup radially outward and with this one be connected radially inwardly extending, lower layer, which is the substantially level bottom, with the upper edge of the insulating jacket from below in Plant is.
The sealing of the cutting edge in the area of the mouth roll can be improved if the lower layer to form an intermediate layer at its the inner cup associated Folded up end and radially outward. This is at the free End of the intermediate layer, the corresponding cutting edge arranged in this Embodiment securely sealed between upper and lower layers.
By investing the upper edge of the insulating jacket on the underside of the mouth roll Not only will liquid penetration over the cut edge into the appropriate one be safe Material prevented. At the same time, there is also a penetration of liquid prevented between insulating jacket and inner cup. This will be where appropriate formed by the liquid penetrated thermal bridges in between insulating jacket and inner cup formed Luftkammem prevented. Preferably a plurality of such Luftkammem formed.
For easy production of such air chambers and at the same time for easy attachment the insulating jacket on the inner cup, the Luftkammem of optionally arranged in patterns indentations in the insulating at least partially bordered be and the connection of insulating jacket and inner cup at least along these impressions. The imprints may be before, simultaneously with or after be formed on a printing of the insulating jacket. The imprints can be in a variety of patterns are arranged, such as grooves along and / or transversely in the insulating jacket, wherein the grooves extend over the entire height or along the entire circumference of the inner cup can extend. More patterns for such imprints are obvious and can at the same time be the aesthetic positively influence the appearance of the insulating cup and / or in context stand with a print of the insulating jacket.
The insulating jacket can be in a simple embodiment of the invention extend from the mouth roll only over a certain height of the Isolierbechers. To one Thermal insulation available over the entire outside of the inner cup too However, the insulating jacket can, however, down to the bottom part of the inner cup extend and, for example, flush with the bottom edge of the cup end up.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the on the outside the inner cup arranged cutting edge of the corresponding blank accordingly sealed for cutting edge arranged on the inside or to be sealed. This can be done by a separate sealing strip or by the already described above sealing strip, in addition to this external Cutting edge is laid around and welded.

erreicht. Ein solches Kunststoffmaterial ist beispielsweise Polyethylen. Ein entsprechendes
