Description

The invention relates to a cross-country or touring ski binding a device for articulating an associated shoe one in the front area of the shoe approximately parallel to the sole tread and extending transversely to the sole or ski longitudinal direction Axis, and with a device for elastic Return the shoe from a swiveled position to one approximately ski-parallel location.

US-A 190 310. Such cross-country or touring ski bindings are generally known, so e.g. from EP-A 424 479 and US-A 190 310. These Type of cross-country or touring ski bindings is due to an elastic Reset element or a so-called "Flexor" marked, the one between the front sole end, in particular the front end of the sole of a ski boot and one Binding housing is arranged. Raising the heel then takes place against the elastic effect of the mentioned Flexors.

Der Schuh ist auf die angelenkte Platte geklemmt, so daß sich die Anlenkungsachse vor dem vorderen Sohlenende befindet.EP 0 163 054 A1 describes a self-locking touring ski binding known, in which the front sole end of a ski boot in a hinged plate of the binding is clamped. The linkage the plate is in front of the front sole end of the shoe. A The device is used for elastic resetting of the shoe a raised position. An elastically deformable element is between the plate and a binding plate that is fixed with the ski is connected, just before the front end of the sole arranged of the shoe. It mainly positions the plate for Get into the bond. The shoe is hinged on the Plate clamped so that the articulation axis in front of the front Sole end is located.

This is another type of cross-country or touring ski binding characterized in that the elastic return element as behind the swivel axis of the shoe in the ball area of the sole attacking elastic tension element is formed, which the shoe when lifting the heel back into the ski parallel Tried to withdraw location. This tension element can either be acted upon by a tension spring or compression spring, such that it acts as a tension element. Such a construction is e.g. described in EP-A 768 103.

Both types of bindings are thus through an elastic return element or marked a single flexor, against the effect of which the shoe can be raised with its heel. adversely is with this basic principle of construction that initially, i.e. at the start of lifting the heel if is only slightly effective with the result that the Ski with its front area, especially its shovel remains on the ground, so that no change of direction with the Ski can be initiated. The danger of falling over the Ski shovel would be too big. This disadvantage arises especially noticeable in racing.

In view of the state of the art known from EP 0 163 054 A1 Technology, the invention has for its object a binding system specify the front sole of one with the binding system coupled ski boots so resiliently supported that one hand the shoe is well balanced and on the other hand a Skiers feel direct through the binding system Has contact with the ski.

This task is followed by a link with the characteristics Claim 1 solved. Preferred configurations of the binding are Subject of the dependent claims. According to the invention are at the binding a device for elastic recovery of the Shoe, an axis and another elastically deformable element under the front section of the front sole of the shoe arranged. In particular the further elastically deformable element acts the device for elastic provision of the Shoes, especially when initially swinging up of the shoe. So two elastic restoring elements act on the shoe, one of which promotes the swiveling up of the shoe, while the other counteracts the swinging up of the shoe. The elastic return elements are therefore both Sides of the shoe effective, in opposite directions. The elastic restoring force can be varied set strongly. It is preferably adjustable. To For this purpose, the elastic return elements can be made easier Be designed interchangeably. Basically, too a construction conceivable with which the hardness of the elastic Reset elements can be continuously fine-tuned, e.g. by integrating a helical compression spring that more or is less prestressable by means of an adjusting screw.

This makes a variety of cross-country or touring ski bindings characterized in that the device for articulating the shoe whose front sole, especially at the front end in Engagement elements of the insert insertable complementary Engagement elements for the production of a joint-like Has connection, wherein the sole-side engagement elements one is transverse to the longitudinal direction of the ski and approximately parallel to the Sole tread extending longitudinal axis and the complementary Engagement elements of the binding on or over the joint axis interlocking with this a swivel bearing or Include hinge joint-forming retaining element, which means a handle arranged on the binding, in particular by means of an operating lever from a closed position in a release position is movable, and either between the area in front of the joint axis, especially in front of the front sole end and the binding or the ski an elastic deformable pressure element or flexor or between the area behind the joint axis, especially the ball area and the Binding or the ski an elastically deformable tension element is effective, which causes a return of the shoe when this with its heel raised from the top of the ski becomes. With such a bond according to the invention elastically deformable reset element or flexor counteract separate elastically deformable element, which either in the form of a behind the hinge axis or in Ball area of the shoe front sole arranged elastically deformable pressure element or flexor or in the form of a the joint axis connected elastically deformable Traction element is formed.

The restoring force of the elastically deformable restoring element or Flexors usually takes when lifting the heel progressive to. The actuating force of the latter preferably increases Resetting element elastically counteracting element equally. This means that the elastic Reset element or flexor counteracting element is initially more effective, which means that the aforementioned Effect is achieved particularly well.

The principle of the invention can also be applied to a Binding in which the shoe is approximately parallel to one another to the sole tread and approximately across the longitudinal direction of the ski extending axis pivotally mounted shoe holding element, especially a pivoted one Plate is held, the elastic provision of the Schuhs counteracting element on the pivoted Shoe holding element or on the pivotably mounted plate attacks.

  • Fig. 1 und Fig. 2 eine erste Ausführungsform einer erfindungsgemäß ausgebildeten Langlauf- oder Tourenskibindung in schematischer Seitenansicht, wobei in Fig. 1 der Schuh sich in skiparalleler Lage und in Fig. 2 in hochgeschwenkter Lage befindet;
  • Two embodiments of cross-country or touring ski bindings designed according to the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the attached drawing. Show it:
  • 1 and 2 show a first embodiment of a cross-country or touring ski binding designed according to the invention in a schematic side view, the shoe in FIG. 1 being in a ski-parallel position and in FIG. 2 in a swiveled-up position;
  • 3 and 4 a second embodiment of a cross-country or touring ski binding designed in accordance with the invention in a schematic side view, the boot being in a ski-parallel position in FIG. 3 and in a pivoted-up position in FIG. 4.
In Fig. 2 ist die elastische Verformung des Flexors 14 dargestellt.1 and 2 is a cross-country or touring ski binding schematically shown a device 10 for articulation of an associated shoe 11 around one in the front Shoe area approximately parallel to the sole tread 12 and approximately axis 13 extending transversely to the sole or longitudinal direction of the ski, and means 14 for resiliently resetting the shoe 11 from a position pivoted up according to FIG Includes ski parallel position according to FIG. 1. Specifically, the Device 10 for articulating the shoe 11 on the shoe Front sole, here at the front end 16 in Engagement elements of the binding 17 insertable complementary Engagement elements for the production of a joint-like Connection on, wherein the sole-side engagement elements one is transverse to the longitudinal direction of the ski and approximately parallel to the Sole tread 12 extending hinge axis 13 and complementary engagement elements of the binding 17 a die Joint axis 13 under and around and with this one Holding element 18 forming pivot bearing or hinge joint 10 include that by means of one in the figures no closer illustrated handle arranged on the binding 17, in particular by means of an actuating lever from a Closed position according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in a Release position is movable. Between the front end of the sole 16 and the housing of the binding 17 is an elastic deformable pressure element or the flexor 14 effective, which or which causes a reset of the shoe 11 when this corresponding to Fig. 2 with its paragraph from the top of the ski is raised. 2 is the elastic Deformation of the flexor 14 shown.

This elastically deformable restoring element or flexor 14 acts a separate, also elastically deformable element 15 opposite, which behind the hinge axis 13, specifically in Ball area of the shoe front sole arranged and as elastic deformable pressure element or flexor 15 is formed. The Flexor 15 thus counteracts the flexor 14. In this way is a kind of balance by the two flexors 14 and 15 the pivot axis 13 between shoe 11 and ski made. Preferably the elastically deformable elements, i.e. the elastic deformable return element 14 on the one hand and that this counteracting element 15 on the other hand different hard set. According to the embodiment according to the 3 and 4 comprises the elastically deformable return element 14 an additional spring element in the form of a Helical compression spring 19. This is elastic within the deformable reset element or Flexors 14 integrated so that its longitudinal axis is in the main direction of action when lifting the Heel extends, i.e. diagonally to the front end of the sole directed towards.

The elastically deformable pressure elements 14, 15 are each Rubber or rubber molded parts that within the Binding housing are placed interchangeably.

In a preferred embodiment, the restoring force increases of the elastically deformable return element 14 when lifting the Heel of shoes progressively increases while the power of this Reset element 14 elastically counteracting element 15 decreases equally. But as mentioned, the balance can be reduced between the two flexors 14, 15 by appropriate hardness adjust them depending on the use of the Binding on the one hand and depending on the user and the Running technique of the same on the other hand.

The embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 differs of those of FIGS. 1 and 2 primarily in that the shoe 11 on a to one approximately parallel to the Sole tread 12 and approximately transverse to the longitudinal direction of the ski extending axis 20 pivotally mounted sole holding plate 21 is held, the elastic Provision of the shoe 11 counteracting element 15 between the holding plate 21 and the binding housing or ski effective is, as is clearly shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.

It should also be noted that it is basically also is conceivable as an elastically deformable restoring element between the area behind the hinge axis 13, in particular the bale area and the binding or the ski are elastic attachable deformable tension element. This tension element then has the same function as the elastically deformable pressure element or the flexor 14 in FIGS. 1 to 4.

Furthermore, it is conceivable that the reset element counteracting elastically deformable element 15 as a front the articulated axis 13 connected, elastically deformable Train element. The key is that two elastic deformable elements arranged counter to each other and so are dimensioned that a predetermined balance for the shoe 11 is achieved in relation to the ski.

    Claims (5)

    1. A cross-country or touring ski binding having a means (10) for pivotally mounting an associated boot (11) about an axis (13) extending in the front boot zone approximately in parallel to the sole bearing surface (12), and approximately transversely to the longitudinal sole or boot direction, and having a means (14) for elastically returning the boot (11) from an upwardly pivoted position (Figs. 2 and 4, respectively) into an approximately ski-parallel position (Figs. 1 and 3, respectively),
      characterized by
      a further elastically deformable element (15) counter-acting the means (14) for elastically returning the boot (11), in particular during the initial upward pivot movement of the boot (11).
    2. The binding of claim 1, wherein the means (10) for pivotally mounting the boot (11) comprises at the front sole thereof, in particular at the front end (16) thereof, complementary engagement elements insertable into the binding (17) for producing an articulation-like connection, with the sole-side engagement elements comprising an articulation axis (13) extending transversely to the longitudinal sole or ski direction and approximately in parallel to the sole bearing surface (12), and the complementary engagement means of the binding (17) comprising a retaining element (18) lapping over, lapping under and/or encompassing the articulation axis (13), and forming with same a pivot bearing or a hinge articulation (10), which retaining element (18) is movable by means of a handle arranged on the binding (17), in particular by means of an operating lever, from an off-position into a release position, and wherein either between the zone upstream of the articulation axis (13), in particular the front sole end and the binding or the ski, an elastically deformable compression element (Flexor 14), or between the zone downstream of the articulation axis (13), in particular in the zone of the ball of the foot and the binding or the ski, an elastically deformable traction element is active, which causes a return of the boot (11), when same is lifted up with its heel from the upper side of the ski,
      characterized in that
      the elastically deformable return element (Flexor 14) is counter-acted by an elastically deformable element (15), which is either configured in the form of an elastically deformable compression element or Flexor (15) arranged in the zone of the base of the toes or of the ball of the foot of the front boot sole, or in the form of an elastically deformable traction element connected upstream of the articulation axis (13).
    3. The binding of claim 1 or 2,
      characterized in that
      the elastically deformable elements, i.e. the elastically deformable return element (14), for one, and the thereto counter-acting element (15), for another, are adjusted or are adjustable to different rigidities.
    4. The binding according to any one of claims 1 through 3,
      characterized in that
      the return force of the elastically deformable return element (14) progressively increases with lifting the boot heel, while the return force of the element (15) elastically counter-acting said return element (14) decreases to the same extent.
    5. The binding according to any one of claims 1 through 4,
      characterized in that
      the boot (11) is retained on a boot retaining element, in particular a pivotably mounted plate (sole plate 21) pivotably mounted approximately in parallel to the sole bearing surface (12), and an axis (20) extending approximately transversely to the longitudinal ski direction, with the element (15) counter-acting the elastic return of the boot (11) being in engagement with the pivotably mounted boot retaining element or the pivotably mounted plate (sole plate 21).
