Description

Un tel dispositif étant généralement appelé dans le domaine du ski « fixation de ski ».The invention relates to a device for retaining a shoe with gliding board such as a ski or the like, for example a monoski, snowboard and more. Such a device is generally called in the field of skiing "ski binding".

The present invention relates more particularly to a system stop to limit the rearward movement of the body of the fixation.

In general, the shoe of a skier is retained on the ski so triggered by its front end thanks to a front fixing called commonly "stop", and by its rear end, and in particular its heel, thanks to a rear attachment commonly known as a "heel piece". In case of significant effort, the release of the ski boot, putting danger the skier's leg or joints, is released by either the front, either the heel of the shoe, or both. To this end, the front stop includes, for example, a jaw pivoting at least laterally around a vertical axis, while the heel includes usually a jaw swiveling upwards around an axis transverse, the jaw of the stop and that of the heel being each acted on by a trigger spring whose compression is adjustable to provide the skier with an effort value for the release of his adapted shoe.

We already know very many fasteners which include means for adjusting their longitudinal position on the ski. So, he is already known front stops and / or rear heels which are adjustable in position on the ski so as to adapt the distance between the front toe and heel to the length of the sole of the shoe.

Generally, it is the heel piece that is moved that includes a body sliding in a slide immobilized in the position longitudinal chosen thanks to a locking device comprising a movable lock between two positions, a locking position and a unlocking position which allows the user to move his binding in the longitudinal axis of the ski so as to position it in a longitudinal position determined and adapted to the length of the sole of his shoe.

We know in particular from patent EP.0.548.468, an adjustable heel piece fitted with a rear stop fixed to the ski and retractable elastically.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge of the description which will follow with regard to the appended drawings which are not given only by way of nonlimiting examples.

The binding shown by way of example equipped with the stop of the invention is a binding intended to retain the heel of the shoe. This binding is, for example, a heel piece (1) which comprises a body (2) of vertical plane of general symmetry (P) on which are articulated, on the one hand, a pivoting retaining jaw (4) about a transverse axis (3) and, on the other hand, a pivoting lever of heaving (5) around another axis of articulation not shown. Of in known manner, the jaw (4) is therefore pivotable on the body to be pivotally movable between a retaining position of the shoe and a release position, and vice versa. In addition, the jaw (4) is biased in the shoe retaining position by the action of an elastic system constituted by a movable member of spring loaded locking on a release ramp performed inside the jaw. The release lever (5) allows the user to be able to release his shoe by pivoting the jaw from its retaining position (4) to its release position.

To this end, said body (2) is slidably mounted in a slide (7) fixed to the ski (6). The latter (7) consists of a longitudinally extending metal plate comprising two lateral retaining and sliding parts for the body (8a, 8b) produced by the curved conformation of the lateral edges (9a, 9b) of the metal plate. Furthermore, the body (2) of the binding comprises at its base and laterally two sliding edges (10a, 10b) intended to be engaged in the lateral retaining and sliding parts (8a, 8b) of the slide (7). Thus, the body (2) is retained upwards by the slide, while being able to move longitudinally (T1, T2).

Furthermore, there are provided locking means allowing the user to be able to lock the body (2) of the binding in a longitudinal position determined with respect to the slide (7). Through example, the locking means consist of a movable lock cooperating with the slide. For this purpose, the central part of the lock includes a succession of lateral teeth, while the face horizontal slide includes a succession of teeth corresponding.

The body (2) of the binding can therefore move in translation longitudinal in the slide (7) forwards (AV) along T1 and towards rear (AR) along T2 to a rear position (PR) determined by a stop (11) preventing the body (2) from coming out of the slide corresponding by longitudinal rearward displacement (AR) then disengagement.

According to the invention, the stop (11) limiting the movement towards the back is removable and can be removed to allow the body (2) to move backwards (AR) beyond the rear position (PR) and be moved enough to be able to exit the slide and exit from the latter backwards.

According to the preferred embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 18, a covering part (12) is provided to mask and make more aesthetic the slide (7). Furthermore, under the assembly constituted by the slide (7) and its covering part (12), therefore between this assembly and the upper surface (60) of the ski (6), is arranged an intermediate part commonly called interface or interface part (13). To this interface piece (13) is fixed removably a rear end piece (14) carrying the previously commented stop (11).

Thus, the rear end piece (14) comprises a base coupling (15) intended to engage under the rear part of the intermediate piece (13), to be guided and locked there thanks to the locking means which will be described below. Said base (15) is extended upwards by a transverse projection (16) extending towards the top forming the stop (11) for the body (2).

As we saw earlier, the rear end piece (14) is detachably fixed, so that it can be dismantled and disconnected at will from the interface part (13). For this purpose, the room rear end (14) is fixed to the interface piece (13) by locking means (17, 18, 19) constituted by a movable lock elastically constituted by a locking projection (17) arranged at the free end of an elastic tongue (18). Note that the tab elastic (18) elastically deformable carrying the locking projection (17) advantageously forms a body and is integral with the part rear end which is made for example of plastic as can also be the interface piece. This so-called elastic tongue (18) extends rearward along the longitudinal axis and the projection of locking (17) is intended to cooperate with a locking hole (19) corresponding made at the rear end of the interface piece (13).

It will be noted that the base (15) of the rear end piece (14) includes two lateral sliding grooves (20a, 20b) intended to cooperate with two longitudinal profiles (21a, 21b) produced at the end of the interface piece (13) which includes a housing lower (22) receiving the base itself (15).

Of course, the projection (16) forming the stop is disposed in the zone (Z) of the rearward movement of the body (2) of the attachment to a distance from the rear (23) of the slide (7), which distance is less than the length (d2) of the sliding part of the body. It also goes without saying that the locking projection is not in this same trajectory, said projection being under the lower plane (H) of the body (2).

When the rear end piece (14) is in place like this is illustrated in Figures 1, 2, 6 and 17, namely fixed to the intermediate piece said interface (13), the projecting stop (11) is located in the area of backward movement of the body and therefore prevents said body from being slid beyond the sliding slide (7). The body (2) of the fixing (1) cannot therefore come out of the slide.

By pressing, according to F1, on the locking projection (17) like this is illustrated in Figure 15, the user can separate the part rear end (14) and thus remove the stop (11).

When the rear end piece is removed as is illustrated in Figures 7, 16 and 18, the body (2) of the fastener (1) can slide backwards beyond the rear stop position (PR) until come completely out of the slide and be totally detached, which allows in particular cleaning of the binding and easy storage of skis.

There is illustrated a rear end piece (14) secured to removably to an intermediate piece (13) arranged under the slide (7), but said rear end piece (14) could be fixed to the slide itself or any other part such as the part covering (12) of the slide, or another part such as a platform on which the ski binding (1) would be mounted.
