Description

The invention relates to a headlight arrangement according to the projection type for a Motor vehicle with at least one lamp or lamp filament, a reflector system and a projection lens according to claim 1.

Headlight assemblies for motor vehicles are known in many different ways. Here almost all headlight assemblies for motor vehicles contain two different ones Low and high beam reflectors. The two reflectors mentioned are included either arranged side by side in a common headlight housing, or but arranged in two separate headlight housings. In both Cases, namely the quasi side by side arrangement of the reflectors are also two Light sources or two lamps necessary.

Basically, the provision of low and high beams is required by law. The high beam creates a geometrical positioning between the light source and each reflector an intense, directed across the road Cone of light for illuminating the road as well as the road environment in front the motor vehicle. In terms of its positioning, the dipped-beam headlights on the one hand produce between lamp and reflector and of course also the reflector based on the Headlight geometry a cone of light that is aimed exclusively at the road and therefore has a much shorter range. The so-called stopping down of the said light on the road should prevent oncoming traffic from being dazzled. Usually during a trip in the night or evening, as far as this is concerned is made use of the so-called high beam. As soon as for the Vehicle driver visibly approaching a vehicle on the opposite lane, he engages Low beam around to dazzle the oncoming driver prevent.

The said functions as such are mandatory. To meet this requirement to do, however, headlight assemblies are often as described above constructed, which have the major disadvantage that they are due to the double and Partly separated arrangement require considerable installation space.

In addition, however, headlight arrangements are known, in which two separate light sources are integrated in a common halogen lamp. This said Halogen lamp is then also assigned to a common reflector. Now changes the driver between low and high beam, in the manner described above, so is only between the two lamp filaments, d. H. the said two Light sources switched in the common halogen lamp. With regard to the above called construction has this construction described the advantage that no more two juxtaposed reflectors are necessary, but that the same Function is represented by a common single reflector. This has to The consequence is that considerably smaller installation spaces are required in the headlight housing. Nevertheless, it is disadvantageous that the two lighting methods have one common reflector are shown because they are actually different Condition reflector geometries. In this respect, such an arrangement is only one Compromise between luminous efficacy and consideration of installation space. The disadvantage is of course, that with this quasi-compromise solution, the light output is noticeable reduced, since the reflector does not optimize for both illumination methods at the same time can be.

In addition, headlight arrangements are based on the so-called Projection system known. This is particularly used to generate the high beam a projection lens is used, in which in particular the yield due to the optics is significantly increased with the available direct light. There are projection lenses known, which have differently ground zones, so that both Low beam, as well as the high beam is generated according to the projection type.

However, it can be of considerable advantage to still use the two illumination methods separate and design only one of them via the projection lens.

The invention is therefore based on the object of a headlight arrangement Generic type to the extent that both the low beam and the high beam is generated efficiently and directed in a corresponding manner is emitted and the space required is kept compact.

The task is in a headlamp assembly of the generic type solved according to the invention by the characterizing features of claim 1.

Further advantageous refinements of the headlight arrangement according to the invention are specified in the remaining dependent claims.

The essence of the invention is on the one hand that even with one Headlight arrangement used according to the projection type two reflector systems , namely one for the normal reflection system and the other reflector for the projection system. Only the reflector of the projection system is along the optical axis and the projection lens is relative to the reflector of the Reflection system stationary. It should be made clear that the Projection lens is not fixed relative to the reflector of the projection system, but is stationary relative to the reflector of the reflection system. The main advantage is here that on the one hand the arrangement of two reflectors with one common, the two reflectors at a suitable overlapping each other Opening is arranged extending through, and that exactly such a double Projector type reflector system arrangement, i. H. with a projection lens is working. Of course, this projection lens only collects the light from the Projection reflector.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the projection reflector is slidable. That means that the lens cannot be moved together with the Projection reflector, but the lens is stationary with respect to the reflection reflector and the projection reflector moves relative to it. Likewise one can otherwise possible movement of the lamp is prevented.

The significant advantage arises from the design or the constructive dimensions between projection reflector and reflection reflector for one, and on the other hand from the corresponding positioning or Mobility. Since the projection reflector is virtually within the also parabolic Reflection reflector is arranged and of smaller, d. H. much smaller Is a diameter, a movable arrangement of the projection reflector does not need additional space in the headlight housing. A mobility of the projection lens, which is clearly in front of the reflectors, would increase the depth of the Condition headlight housing. The same applies in the event that the lamp itself should be movable. This would also increase the necessary depth of the Condition headlight housing.

Overall, due to the arrangement and mobility of the invention Elements ensures that on the one hand individual but arranged one inside the other Reflectors with a common light source can be provided that this Arrangement can then also be operated according to the type of projection and between high beam and low beam can be switched.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, of course, as above already executed, the lamp, the two reflectors and the lens on one common optical axis aligned. The relative solidity of the individual elements such as lens and reflection reflector to each other can be advantageous Embodiment of the invention take place through a rigid connection. This rigid Connection can be given by fixing on a common holding element. This means that the said lens and the reflection reflector on one common holding frame or holding element are arranged.

Figur 1 zeigt die Erfindung lediglich in ihren wesentlichen Elementen.Figure 1 shows the invention only in its essential elements.

The essential elements are the reflection reflector 10, the projection reflector 20, as well as the lamp 1 and the lens 30. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the one with a larger one Diameter present reflection reflector 10 arranged so that the same the smaller, also parabolic projection reflector 20 fits. In the area of the lowest points of the two reflectors 10 and 20 there are openings arranged through which the lamp 1 or the lamp vessel extends. On the resulting optical axis is now the lens 30 at a corresponding distance positioned that it from the lamp 1 on the reflector surface of the projection reflector Collects 20 reflected light, but not the reflection light of the reflection reflector 10th

In order to be able to switch back and forth between high beam and low beam, is only the projection reflector 20 along the optical axis by a certain amount slidable. This amount must be so large that the main part of the lamp 1 emitted light falls on the reflection reflector 10. It is essential that both the lamp 1, as well as the lens 30 and also the reflector 10 remain stationary. The that is, the projection lens 30, and substantially the reflection reflector 10 relatively stationary relative to each other. That is, lens 30 can be relative to Reflection reflector 10 can not be moved, but due to the displaceability of the Projection reflector 20 a relative movement between the lens 30 and projection reflector 20 arises. This defocusing with regard to the focus light of the lamp on the Projection reflector favors the coupling out of the light from the Projection area so that most of the light for the reflection reflector 10 remains. It can already be seen here that an axial displacement of the lens 30 and / or the lamp 1 is completely avoided. By the only realized Only the projection reflector can be moved, but no additional installation space is required needed. This results from the concavity of the parabolic projection reflector, the moves in the direction of lens 30, but not in its stroke movement from the lens is hindered. Otherwise, the projection reflector reaches with one of its body edges in no position one of the space limitations near the lens 30 or near the Lamp vessel 1. In contrast, a stroke movement of the lamp 1 or the lens 30 would Require space increase.

The arrangement according to the invention is therefore not only functionally advantageous, but also it also fulfills the requirement that the installation space be compact and unaffected hold.

Figures 2 and 3 contain only two configurations from the prior art, the are deliberately avoided with the invention. Figure 2 shows the mobility of the Projection reflector, but the projection lens moves with it. This leads to a Ultimate stroke movement of the lens 30, which is in the appropriate position over the the space actually required protrudes. Another possibility is shown in FIG. 3, wherein but due to the movability of the lamp itself, the installation space to the rear accordingly must be trained large. That means that even with this design there would be an increase of the installation space.

This shows that in a very efficient, simple manner, a correspondingly extensive one technically well-equipped headlight element can also be compact.
