Claims (11)

  1. A projectile having an effective mass, in particular a quick-burning decoy component generating spontaneous smoke and a slow-burning camouflage component generating persistent smoke, having an igniter, having an ejection charge and/or ignition decomposition charge and having at least one ignition delay device, characterised in that decomposition of at least one effective mass component (3) may only be effected in a radial direction,
    the base (16b) of at least one effective mass canister (16) is fixedly connected to the cover (16a) of this effective mass canister (16), even upon decomposition of the effective mass (3),
    the ejection charge (22) and/or the ignition decomposition charge (32) and also the at least one ignition delay device (21, 31) are incorporated in the effective mass (2, 3), and
    the igniter (20) is at least partially incorporated in the effective mass (2).
  2. A projectile according to Claim 1, characterised in that the cover (16a) of the at least one effective mass canister (16) is connected to the base (16b) of this effective mass canister (16) by way of a perforated tube (12), and
    an ignition decomposition charge (32) is arranged in the perforated tube (12).
  3. A projectile according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the effective mass comprises a decoy component (3) and a camouflage component (2),
    decomposition of the decoy component (3) may only be effected in a radial direction, and the decoy component (3) is arranged in the at least one effective mass canister (16), which has a fixed connection between its cover (16a) and its base (16b),
    the camouflage component (2) is arranged in a further effective mass canister (15),
    the two effective mass canisters (15, 16) are connected to one another,
    and an ignition delay device (21) of the camouflage component (2) and the ejection charge (22) are incorporated in the camouflage component (2).
  4. A projectile according to Claim 3, characterised in that an ignition delay device (31) of the decoy component (3) is incorporated in the camouflage component (2).
  5. A projectile according to Claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the preferably electric igniter (20) is incorporated in the camouflage component (2).
  6. A projectile according to Claim 5, characterised in that the igniter (20) is at least partially incorporated in the ejection charge (22).
  7. A projectile according to one of Claims 3 to 6, characterised by an ignition tube (11), which extends centrally through the camouflage component (2) in the longitudinal direction and in which the ejection charge (22) and the ignition delay device (31) of the decoy component (3) are arranged.
  8. A projectile according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the weight of the individual effective mass particles which are dispersed upon decomposition is minimised.
  9. A projectile according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the at least one effective mass canister (16), in particular for the decoy component (3), has a sleeve between its base (16b) and its cover (16a), and the canister sleeve can decompose finely and into small, light parts.
  10. A projectile according to one of Claims 3 to 9, characterised in that the effective mass canister (15) of the camouflage component (2) has a sleeve between its base (15b) and its cover (15a), and the canister sleeve melts away as the camouflage component burns up.
  11. A projectile according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the radius of the range of the projectile upon decomposition may be set by way of the at least one ignition delay device (31, 32).
