Abstract

Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Überwachen der Verbrennungsvorgänge im Brennraum einer Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere einer Dieselmaschine, in deren Zylinderkopf 1 wenigstens eine Glühkerze mit Heizstab 2 angeordnet ist. Über einen Hochfrequenzgenerator 4 wird an den Reizstab 2 eine hochfrequente Spannung gelegt, so daß daraufhin zwischen dem Heizstab 2 und der brennraumseitigen Oberfläche des Zylinderkopfes 1 ein Ionenstrom ausgebildet wird. Dieser Ionenstrom wird mit einer Auswerteschaltung 3 beispielsweise hinsichtlich des Druckes im Brennraum ausgewertet.
