It operates the control member 30 by the flange 30b located near the operating handle 21, by counteracting the action of the return means 27 (see arrow C). It thus forces the head to break 23 to pass from its rest position R to its working position T, for the duration of the action on the control member 30 of the control means 34.
- the angular stop 32 of the breaking head 23 comes into contact with the protrusion 33 of the bearing 5 and limits the angular movement of the head to break 23 in a position where the lower faces 28a and 29a are substantially parallel to the upper part 22a of the tile 22.
- the operator presses vertically on the handle 21 (arrow D), it transmits this force through the head to break 23 on the lateral sides of the upper face 22a of the tile 22, thanks to the supports side 28 and 29 until the pane 22 breaks around the edge 15.
- the spring 27 allows the breaking head 23 to be raised to its rest position R, after the operation of breaking the pane, by a kinematics opposite to that of its arming
- the spring 27 drives in translation in the direction of the articulation 7, the control means 34 which move the link 25.

Claims (9)
- Appareil manuel à couper les carreaux du type qui est constitué d'un chariot (4) prévu pour coulisser au-dessus d'un socle (1) comprenant des moyens (8, 9) pour recevoir un carreau à couper, ledit chariot (4) comprenant une molette (19) et une tête à briser (23), ladite tête à briser (23) pouvant, sous l'action des moyens de commande (34) prendre soit une position de repos R où elle est escamotée de manière à permettre à ladite molette d'entrer en contact avec le carreau placé sur ledit socle (1) et pour ainsi rayer ledit carreau lors du coulissement dudit chariot (4), soit une position de travail T où seule elle entre en contact avec la face supérieure du carreau, ledit chariot (4) comportant une tige (20) pour exercer une force d'appui sur la molette (19) lorsqu'elle est en contact avec le carreau pour le rayer, et une force d'appui sur ladite tête à briser (23) lorsqu'elle se trouve dans sa position de travail T, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de commande (34) de la tête à briser (23) sont placés à proximité de l'extrémité libre de ladite tige (20).
- Appareil manuel à couper les carreaux selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite tête à briser (23) est prévue pour pouvoir pivoter entre sa position de repos R et sa position de travail T et en ce qu'il comporte un organe de liaison (25) des moyens de commande (34) à ladite tête à briser (23) pour commander le pivotement de ladite tête à briser (23).
- Appareil manuel à couper les carreaux selon la revendication 2 caractérisé en ce que cet organe de liaison est une biellette (25).
- Appareil manuel à couper les carreaux selon la revendication 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de commande (34) sont constitués d'un manchon (26) monté coulissant sur le levier de manoeuvre (20) auquel est relié ledit organe de liaison (25), ledit manchon étant pourvu pour sa manoeuvre d'une collerette (30b).
- Appareil manuel à couper les carreaux selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que ladite collerette (30b) prolonge ledit manchon (26) en direction d'une poignée (21) à l'extrémité libre du levier de manoeuvre (20).
- Appareil manuel à couper les carreaux selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un moyen de rappel (27) qui tend à maintenir la tête à briser (23) dans sa position de repos R.
- Appareil manuel à couper les carreaux selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que le moyen de rappel est un ressort (27) prévu pour agir sur le manchon (26).
- Appareil manuel à couper les carreaux selon la revendication 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de commande (34) sont constitués d'un levier (36) qui est monté pivotant sur le levier de manoeuvre (20) et auquel est relié ledit organe de liaison (25).
- Appareil manuel à couper les carreaux selon une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la tête à briser (23) comporte une butée angulaire (32) en contact, dans la position de travail T de la tête à briser (23), avec une protubérance (33) du palier (5).
