Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a material web roll wrapped around the circumference, in which a Material web wound up to the material web roll and a packaging web around the circumference of the material web roll is placed.
- the invention further relates to a device for making a circumference packaged web roll with a web feed path and a winding device.
- the invention is based on a paper web described as an example of a material web. she is however also applicable to other material webs, for example for foils made of plastic or metal or for cardboard webs.
- Paper webs are in larger Widths up to about 10 m.
- the last layer of the material web glued to the circumference of the roll of material become.
- the web rolls are then made the winding device ejected and a packaging device fed.
- a packaging line in usually wrapping paper, wrapped and the end faces of the individual rolls of material are covered with end covers Mistake.
- the packaging facility requires a relatively large amount of space, among other things because in many cases it is a large number of packaging web rolls of different widths must keep in stock to roll with web to be able to pack changing widths.
- the invention has for its object in manufacturing to save space on a material web roll.
- This task is carried out in a method of the aforementioned Art solved in that the packaging web with the incoming material web is connected and the material web roll is rotated further.
- the material web is preferably used before winding cut in the longitudinal direction and connecting with the Packaging web is done before cutting.
- This has the Advantage that the packaging web in the longitudinal direction is cut exactly to the width of the material web and thus the material web roll.
- the packaging line closes flush with the front of the Roll of material from. On the one hand, this ensures the desirable Effect that the web of material on her total axial length on the circumference of the packaging line is covered. On the other hand, you have none Problems more with an existing axial To have to handle supernatant. After all, you can achieve with this relatively simple measure that you no longer have many different widths of packaging webs must keep in stock.
- the packaging line is automatically adjusted to the width of the roll of material to be packed customized. This approach has besides the space saving is another advantage.
- the packaging web is preferably one at its end connected to the material web again. This results in in a configuration a very stable network between the packaging web and the material web.
- the packaging web is together with the Material web wound up.
- the outer layers of the web roll are alternating or sandwich-like from several layers of packaging web and material web educated. This creates a very intimate connection of packaging web and material. The risk, that the roll of material in the peripheral packaging axially displaces (telescoping) becomes very kept small.
- the material web is preferably in the region of the second Connection with the packaging web with the surface the web roll glued.
- the second connection with the packaging web takes place at the end of the material web. So there are two bonds, namely once on the radial inside and once on the radial outside of the material web. This not only provides a stable attachment of the end of the Packaging web on the circumference safe, but also one stable fastening of the end of the material web on their material web roll.
- the material web in the running direction behind the connections is cut with the packaging web, the end the packaging web again connected to the material web becomes.
- the peripheral packaging practically exclusively from the packaging line without intermediate material webs.
- the material web is tracked, for example to start wrapping a new material web is necessary, relatively simple.
- the material web is through the packaging web pulled back to the web of material, so that again Threading operations can be omitted.
- the packaging web is preferably in the running direction before reconnecting to the perimeter of the web roll attached. So you make sure that the beginning the "new" material web up to the immediate neighborhood the web roll can be pulled. If the packaging web on the "old” material roll is attached, you can the packaging line cut through and eject the old roll of material. When winding a new web roll then a small remainder of the packaging line Roll core. However, this is acceptable because of the leadership the material web in the winding device practical requires no additional effort.
- the material web or packaging web is preferred weakened, especially perforated, in Direction behind an area in which they are at the Surface of the web roll are attached.
- the Question whether the material web or the packaging web is weakened depends on whether the material web together with the packaging line to the extent of Roll of material is wound up or whether you have the material interrupts and only winds up the packaging web. In the latter case, the packaging line and in the former case the web of material is weakened, for example perforated.
- the weakening has that Advantage that you still have a certain traction can to the material web or the packaging web to the desired position. If then but in this position a higher pulling force is applied then the material web or the packaging web breaks without additional interventions by Cutting or knocking off are required.
- the packaging or material web is preferred when the roll of material web is ejected from the winding device tore off. For this purpose it is only necessary to hold the incoming material web. If the roll of material then out of the winding device is moved out, then you have to be relative anyway apply high forces. These are easily in the Location, a separation along the line of weakness or perforation perform.
- the packaging web from several cross to the direction packaging lanes arranged side by side that overlap each other, taking the Overlap area so that it is outside a Edge of the web roll runs.
- packaging lanes have mother roles, the ones of which have not yet been cut Material webs are pulled off, a relative large width of up to 10 m.
- Packaging lanes However, wrapping paper is usually only available up to widths of about 4 m. If you have all the web rolls, which are cut from a parent roll, wants to pack at the same time and in the same way these lead to problems. However, these problems will avoided by having the desired width of the Packaging web generated by the packaging web composed of several sections that overlap each other.
- edge protection strips outside the thickened Diameter are applied, then you can Outside diameter must be made at least as large as the thickened diameter, so that the material web rolls packed in this way can roll straight ahead again.
- the thickened Diameter no significant influence.
- the object is achieved in a device of the type mentioned kind solved in that a packaging web dispenser one opening into the material web feed path Has output path.
- the Packaging web of the material web roll to the same Kind is fed as the material web itself. Accordingly become complicated threading or Avoid guidance devices with which the packaging line the scope of the web of material are fed have to.
- the packaging web can with this configuration rather be drawn from the material web (and vice versa if necessary).
- the winding device is used twice and once for winding the material web to the material web roll and the other to generate the rotational movement that is necessary to the packaging web on the circumference of the material web roll wind up.
- a longitudinal cutting device is preferably in the material web feed path arranged and the output path opens in front of the slitter.
- the Packaging web automatically cut to the same width, like the web of material.
- the packaging line then has exactly the same axial extent as that Roll of material web.
- the roll of material web is therefore open their entire axial length from the packaging web covered without a supernatant. The alignment the packaging web to the material web roll automatically.
- a first adhesive switching station is in the Area of the mouth of the output path arranged.
- the Bonding station creates an adhesive layer or Area between the packaging web and the material web, preferably on the packaging line. But it is also possible to apply the adhesive layer on the material web produce.
- the adhesive layer can be on many different Sages are generated.
- the glue in the glue placement station is "activated".
- Such adhesives can, for example be formed by a rubber coating by the Water supply is made sticky. It can but also a hot glue, which is then sticky when it is heated.
- a second adhesive transfer station arranged in an area in front of a nip is the roll of material web with a roller forms. While the first adhesive switching station to do so serves the packaging web and the material web with each other to connect, the second adhesive switching station is used to bring about "end sheet gluing", i.e. the end of the packaging line or the end of the the material web connected to the packaging web Determine the scope of the role. If the radial inside the material web or the packaging web sticky has been made, then it is sufficient if this end the nip between the material web roll and the roller (e.g. a support roller) passes through with sufficient Strength to be pressed against the web roll.
- the roller e.g. a support roller
- a weakening device is preferred, in particular Perforator, in the neighborhood of second adhesive switching station arranged.
- the weakening device then either weakens the web or the packaging line near the through the second adhesive application station applied adhesive. You can still use the packaging line or retighten the material web. A seperation is possible by simply tearing it off.
- the perforating device perforates the web of material if previously Material web and packaging web wound up together have been behind the one above the other Bonding of packaging web and material web and material web and web roll. It perforates the Packing web when the packaging web is wound up alone between the gluing the packaging web with the material web and the adhesive the packaging web with the material web roll.
- the winding device has a changing bed and a Material web holding device in the entry area of the changing bed is arranged.
- the web holding device holds the web to two functions fulfill. For one, it makes it easier to tear off the Material web or packaging web when ejecting the Roll of material from the winding device. On the other hand it holds the "beginning" of the web so that with the insertion of a new winding core, a new one Winding process can begin.
- the packaging web dispenser preferably has several slidable transversely to the direction of travel of the material web Packaging web rolls for dispensing overlapping one another Packaging lanes. As related to above described the process, it is possible in this way even then several material web rolls at the same time to pack when the width of the parent roll, from the the web rolls are cut, the width of a single packaging line. The packaging line is then simply by several in the axial direction adjacent packaging lanes formed, that overlap each other.
- the packaging web dispenser has a longitudinal adhesive device. In some cases, it is enough that the packaging webs just overlap and with a certain Wind up tension. Even better packaging but one achieves that the neighboring Packing lanes in their overlap area with each other be glued.
- a control device provided an adjacent area of overlap Packaging webs outside of longitudinal edges the web rolls stops. Because of the overlap area a packaging web section with double Thickness is formed in this way Make sure that the resulting increase in diameter the packaged web roll is not in an annoying Area. So it is from the edges of the web roll kept away.
- the task is the beginning of a web of material mentioned type in that the width of the Packaging web exactly the width of the material web roll corresponds and the packaging line in at least one Section in the circumferential direction radially below the material web lies.
- Such a web roll saves on its manufacture Construction space because it is not necessary a Variety of packaging webs of different widths to keep in stock. It is also for their manufacture possible packaging as a subsection of the winding to watch. With this configuration, however, it is with a section at the beginning or at the end of the Wrapping or packaging practically unavoidable, that the packaging web and the material web in the radial direction lie on top of each other so that the packaging line is inside.
- the roll of material web has an outer layer has the multiple alternating from one Layer of material web and a layer of packaging web exists.
- the Easy to wrap or to manufacture the packaging web the packaging web and the material web together wound up.
- the packaging web is part of the innermost layer of the Forms web roll. In this case, the packaging line from the packaging from the previously to the same position wound material web roll left remained.
- Fig. 1 shows a winding station 1, in which a roll of material 2 rests in a changing bed 3 that through two driven support rollers 4, 5 is formed.
- the material web roll 2 becomes a winding bed in the direction of a Arrow 6 rotated and pulls a material web 7 on itself, i.e. upon rotation of the winding roll 2 the material web 7 is wound up.
- the material web 7 runs through a feed path, of a pair of castors 8, which forms a nip 9, the can be closed, and a slitter 10 has.
- the longitudinal cutting device 10 is in the rest of the illustration of FIG. 1 for the sake of Overview omitted.
- the material web 7 is one not shown Master roll unwound in the slitter 10 cut into partial webs with suitable widths and in several, one behind the other in the axial direction material web rolls 2 arranged in the winding bed 3 wound up.
- Packaging web dispenser a packaging web 11, in usually wrapping paper. It is shown that the packaging web 11 on an output path to Nip 9 of the pair of castors 8 is guided.
- the one for this used means are known and can for example through air baffles, tapes or the like be educated.
- Fig. 1b shows that just before the nip 9 a first Adhesion switching station 12 is arranged, the one Apply adhesive 13 to the packaging web 11.
- the adhesive is point or represented in a line. But it is easy visible that the adhesive 13 over a larger Can extend area, for example over 100 mm in the running direction of the material web 7.
- the nip 9 can now be closed.
- the web of material 7 now promotes the packaging web 11 by friction with and is glued to it due to the adhesive 13. So that the material web 7 from the packaging web 11 in Fig. 1c is the nip 9 not shown closed here, although in this Operating situation is actually closed.
- the packaging web 11 is now together with the material web 7 pulled around the winding roll 2 if the material web roll 2 is rotated further.
- the web roll 2 then has an outer layer that due to alternating layers of material web 7 and packaging web 11 is formed, the packaging web 11 always forms the radially outer layer.
- the adhesive switch station wears 12 another adhesive 14 the packaging web 11.
- a separator 15 arranged, which cuts the packaging web 11. Accordingly, the material web 7 ends the packaging web 11 glued again when through passes through the nip 9 of the pair of castors 8.
- the severed Packing lane i.e. the beginning of the packing lane, can either in front of the nip 9 of the castor pair to be held with if not threading devices shown in more detail, but known per se to be fed back to the nip.
- Such Facilities can be air baffles or suction tapes or the like.
- Fig. 1d shows that the material web 7 together with the end of the packaging web 11 on the material web roll 2 is pulled. With not shown, but the known means become the beginning the remaining packaging web 11 again in the Area of the nip 9 of the castor pair 8 promoted.
- a second adhesive transfer station 16 arranged a third Applying adhesive 17 to the inside of the material web 7, i.e. to the side that is on the peripheral surface of the Material web roll 2 comes to the plant.
- the adhesive 17 lies opposite the adhesive 14. He too is real of course not applied linearly, but extends over an area equal to that of the area of the adhesive 14 corresponds.
- a perforating device 18 is arranged, which Material web 7 perforated over its entire width.
- a prepared winding tube 21 in the Changing bed 3 can be inserted.
- the winding tube 21 has already have a glue point 22. If now the support rollers 4, 5 can be set in motion again, then comes the glue point 22 in contact with the material web 7 and connects the material web 7 to the winding tube 21 (Fig. 1i). If the carrier rollers 4, 5 are rotated further are, then the material web 7 wraps on the Winding tube 21, as shown in Fig. 1k.
- first and second adhesive switching stations 12, 16 in the manufacture of the The circumferential packaging should also be in permanent operation that the entire packaging with the roll of material to be packed 2 is glued.
- a peripheral packaging is created with a sandwich-like structure, at always a layer of material 7 and a layer of packaging 11 in a row.
- the packaging has just a little more than one layer, always provided that the packaging web 11 radially inside a layer or a part of a layer of the material web 7 lies.
- Fig. 2 now shows an embodiment in which the packaging is only formed by the packaging track, i.e. without material layers in between.
- a cutting device 23 for the Material web 7 is provided.
- the shown Cutting device 23 can also be a cutting device be provided with the upper roller of the pair of castors 8 interacts. In this case, the beginning the material web 7 clamped to the steering roller, sucked in or held in some other way, so that the material web 7 when the nip 9 closes, can be further promoted.
- the adhesive transfer station 12 in Commissioned and brings an adhesive 13 on the Packing lane 11 on. Simultaneously with it or briefly then the material web is made with the aid of the separating device 23 7 severed. 2b shows that now the beginning of the packaging line 11 with the help of Adhesive 13 glued to the end of the material web 7 is.
- the material web roll 2 is now rotated further, whereby the third adhesive 17 the nip between the web roll 2 and the left support roller 4 passes. Thereby the packaging web 11 adheres to the circumference of the material web 3 on.
- the web of material roll 2 is then as long continued until the perforation line 24 is short lies in front of the right roller 5. If now the web roll ejected with the help of the ejector 19 then the perforation that breaks in the packaging web breaks 11, and it remains in the changing bed 3 the front end of the material web 7 with the Rest of the rear end of the packaging web 11.
- Both packaging web rolls are in the direction of the arrows 28, 29 movable and in such a way that the overlap area 27 is not cut, so never on the edge of a roll of material web 2 comes to rest. It but it is easily possible that the overlap area in the axial center of a web roll 2 comes to lie. If you later on the web of material Edge strips to protect the edges and to hold a front cover, then it plays through the double layer in the overlap region 27 Increasing the diameter no longer matters.
- both packaging web rolls 25, 26 can also be provided that both packaging web rolls 25, 26 in the same Direction of rotation. In this case it is ensured that always the same sides, that is radial Inside or radial outside, in the composite Packaging web 11, 11 'in the same direction point. This not only unifies the look, The quality of the packaging will then be shared by everyone material web roll packed in the winding device 7 equal.
- FIG. 4 shows a further component of a packaging device, namely an end-side packaging device 30.
- a packaging device 30 Be on a runway 31 Material web rolls 2, 2 ', 2' 'one after the other a pair of support rollers 32 fed.
- the winding roll 2 is placed on the support roller pair 32. This can be increased if necessary.
- the end cover feed arrangement has 35 a swivel arm 37 on both is pivotable in a plane that is perpendicular to the Rail pair 33 stands, as well as rotated by 180 ° can. This rotation can optionally also be done by cooperation with a turntable 38 on the carriage 34 be effected, the rotational movement of which is then carried out with a Pivotal movement of the pivot arm 37 cooperates.
- Edge strip dispensers are on both sides of the swivel arm 37 39 arranged.
- the left edge strip dispenser is straight an edge strip 40 from that with no closer represented, but known per se the right axial end of the winding roll 2 is supplied.
- Of the Edge strip 40 is on the circumference of the winding roll 2nd set so that it protrudes axially somewhat. If this The protrusion folded onto the end of the winding roll 2 he can hold the front cover 36.
- the right edge strip dispenser 39 is accordingly provided for the left end of a winding roll 2.
- the packaging method shown can be used realize considerable time savings, that the peripheral packaging for all web rolls, which are in the winding station, is applied simultaneously. Only the edge packaging is done individually for each winding roll 2.
- one winding station 1 can also have two such Assign end cover application and feed stations 30, to further accelerate packaging. In In many cases this is not necessary because the Time required to wind the winding rolls 2, sufficient to roll all rolls of a throw with the edge strips 40 to be provided.
