Abstract

The system has a transmission line (LTG) connected at one end via a first connection to an AC voltage source (Q) and at the other via a second connection to a load (VL). The AC voltages produced by the source and transferred by the transmission line can be used for power supply purposes or for the transmission of data. The load can be switched between two load states by a logic module (LOG) depending on data to be transmitted so that changes in the amplitude of the AC voltage produced by the AC source occur at the first connection and are fed into a detection module (DET) which detects the changes and produces a corresponding data flow.
