Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electrical connection unit with a housing, with at least one connection for at least one insulated conductor or one stripped Head, with at least one cutting element and with at least one spring element. The cutting element stands for the insulation of the insulated conductor Inserting the insulated conductor cutting, d. H. severing and then with the soul of the conductor contacting contact element, while spring element for a Contact element stands, which contacts a stripped conductor by spring force.
For many years there have been electrical connection units, in particular terminals, can be connected to the electrical conductors without prior stripping. For this purpose, the insulated conductor is inserted into a conductor holder of the terminal and then pressed into a cutting element, severing the insulation of the conductor and the soul of the conductor is contacted by the cutting element. Doing there there are a variety of design options for such electrical terminals Connection of non-stripped conductors. These differ in particular in that as the conductor inserted into the conductor receptacle is pressed into the cutting element becomes. Using such clamps can save you a lot of time Connecting conductors can be achieved because of the assembly and stripping of the electrical conductor is eliminated. Incidentally, there have been electrical ones for many decades Connection units, in particular terminals, to the stripped electrical conductors can be connected.
An electrical product from a WAGO Kontakttechnik GmbH product catalog Connection unit of the type described above is known. This electrical Connection unit contains both cutting elements and spring elements, so that Both insulated conductors and stripped conductors are connected to the connection unit can be. The disadvantage of this known connection unit however, that by the arrangement of the cutting elements in a plane above the Spring elements a connection unit with relatively large dimensions, in particular of a relatively large height.
The present invention is therefore based on the object, one described at the outset to provide electrical connection unit, which is only very small Has dimensions.
According to the invention, the previously derived and shown task is initially thereby solved that both the cutting element and the clamping element in the longitudinal extension of the conductor are arranged. By arranging the cutting element and the spring element not one above the other, as known in the prior art, but in the longitudinal extension of the conductor, the height of the electrical connection unit be significantly reduced. This is always particularly important if only a very small connection space is available, especially when used an electrical connection unit on a circuit board is the case. By the constant downsizing of the circuit boards themselves and a miniaturization of the The components arranged on the printed circuit board also result for those on a printed circuit board arranged electrical connection units the demand for very low Dimensions. In addition, there is particularly in the installation technology a variety of use cases in which, due to the very small available connection space, electrical connection units with very small dimensions are required.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the cutting element and the spring element from only one metal part. This will on the one hand Number of components forming the electrical connection assembly reduced to others a simple and quick manufacture of the connection unit is possible. In a one-piece design of the cutting element and spring element, this can the cutting element and the spring element realizing metal part simply into the housing used and, if desired, by appropriate locking means in the housing be attached.
According to a further particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, this is the case Cutting element and the spring element spatially together. This is initially one further reduction of the required dimensions of the connection unit possible, in addition, the manufacture of the connection module is further simplified. The metal part is preferably essentially box-shaped with laterally resilient Thighs formed. Then the free ends of the laterally resilient Leg cutting edges for contacting a non-stripped conductor on. Due to the box-shaped design of the metal part and the overall box-shaped design of the electrical connection unit is a very simple one Line up of several connection units to form a connection block possible. An essentially box-shaped metal part is also very simple, for example can be produced by punching out.

In Fig. 1, an
In Fig. 2 are now
At the end of the
In addition to fixing the
3 and 4 show a second embodiment of an
Recognized in the sectional view of the
In the

The seven

Based on the embodiments of an electrical shown in FIGS. 1 to 9
