Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Abschrecken von Werkstücken in einer Behandlungskammer (1) mittels eines Abschreckgases wird ein Wärmetauscher (3) vor Beginn des Abschreckvorganges mit dem flüssigen Kältemittel zumindest teilweise gefüllt. Dabei herrscht in der Behandlungskammer (1) Vakuum. Die Kühlung der Charge (5) erfolgt durch die Kühlkapazität des Wärmetauschers (3) und das Verdampfen der Einfüllmenge beim Umwälzen des Abschreckgases.
