Claims (3)

  1. An exhaust gas manifold comprising a curved end portion (4) with at least two T-portions (5, 6) attached respectively via a sliding fit (7, 8), the end portion (4) and the T-portions (5, 6) each having a flange connection (9, 11, 12) fixed on a head flange, and a pipe connection (10, 13, 14), and each T-portion (5, 6) having a sliding fit port (15, 16), characterised in that each sliding fit port (15, 16) is formed by internal high-pressure forming on the outside radius (Ra) of a pipe bend (17, 18), and the sliding fit port (15) of the T-portion (5) engages over the end of the pipe connection (10) of the end portion (4) and the sliding fit port (16) of the T-portion (6) engages over the end of the pipe connection (13) of the T-portion (5).
  2. An exhaust gas manifold according to claim 1, characterised in that the sliding fit port (15, 16) and/or the pipe connection (10, 13) are bevelled at the end-face.
  3. An exhaust gas manifold according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the ratio of the length of the sliding fit port to the diameter of the pipe bend is about 0.5.
