abgedichtet. Die Dampfverteilerkammer 16 ist nach unten zur Bügeleisensohle hin offen.

bzw. in Druckbalance verbunden. Wenn beispielsweise ein solches Dampfbügeleisen
auf einem Bügelgut aufliegt, das aufgrund der Gewebeart und gegebenenfalls
des Bügelbrettes keinen oder nur sehr wenig Dampf ausgehend von der zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnung
15 passieren läßt, so ist der nominal in der Verdampferkammer erzeugte
Dampfdruck weiterhin ausreichend, um über die ersten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
18 das Bügelgut zu bedampfen. Die druckausgleichende Verbindung sorgt dafür, daß
unter allen Bügelbedingungen eine Bedampfung erfolgt. Es wird üblicherweise bei
Dampfbügeleisen dieses Typs mit Tropfventil und sofortiger Verdampfung des in die
Dampferzeugungskammer gelangten Wassertropfens durch Atmosphärendruck und
Gravitationskraft ein Dampfdruck von maximal 200 Pa bzw. eine Dampfabgaberate von
etwa kleiner 16 g/min erzielt. Ein höherer Dampfdruck ist unvorteilhaft, da damit der an

von der Bügeleisensohle 1 überbügelt werden. Aufgrund von ähnlichen Überlegungen
sind die ersten und die zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 18, 15 in einem in Bewegungsrichtung
vorderen Bereich der Bügeleisensohle angeordnet, um mit dem hinteren Bügeleisensohlenbereich
ohne Dampfaustrittsöffnungen eine ausschließliche und damit sehr
effiziente Trocknung des bedampften Bügelgutes zu erreichen. Diese Funktionsweise ist
für alle in den Figuren dargestellten Ausführungsformen gleich. Für die Bügeleisensohlen
1-10 und 12 gilt ebenfalls in gleicher Weise, daß keine erste Dampfaustrittsöffnung 18
unmittelbar im vordersten Teil der Bügelspitze 20, sondern etwas seitlich zurückversetzt
angeordnet ist. Durch diesen Zurückversatz der ersten Dampfaustrittsöffnung 18 relativ
zur Bügelspitze 20 nach in Bewegungsrichtung hinten ist einerseits gewährleistet, daß
auch der Bereich unmittelbar vor der Bügelspitze 20 noch mit Oberflächendampf bedampft
wird und andererseits die Bügelspitze 20 nutzbar ist, ohne daß sich das Bügelgut
in einer ersten Dampfaustrittsöffnung 18 verhaken kann. In den Ausführungsformen der
Bügeleisensohlen 1, 2 und 3 ist für die der Bügelspitze am nächsten liegende V-förmige
Nut 19 eine zusätzliche zweite Dampfaustrittsöffnung 15 zur Bereitstellung von Dampf
unter dem Bügeleisen und Oberflächendampf vorgesehen. In den Bügeleisensohlen 1, 3
und 4 folgt auf die soeben beschriebene vorderste V-förmige Nut 19 eine weitere V-förmige
Nut, deren "Spitze" stark gerundet ist. Zwischen diesen beiden vordersten V-förmigen
Nuten 19 sind drei tropfenförmige Nuten mit zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen

Nut lediglich nach außen verlängernde Nuten 24, wie bereits für die Bügeleisensohle
2 ausgeführt. Schließlich folgen auf jede vierte tropfenförmige Nut mit zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
15 noch insgesamt drei W-förmig verlaufende Nuten 26. Die W-förmigen
Nuten 26 stellen ähnlich wie die Nuten 19, 24 und 25 eine Dampfströmungsrichtung
für Oberflächendampf nach außen außerhalb der Bügeleisensohle, nach seitlich
vorne um die Bügelspitze herum und in einem vorderen Bereich um die an die Bügelspitze
angrenzenden Seiten 22 und 23 bereit. Im Unterschied zu diesen vorgenannten
Nuten 19, 24, 25 ist bei den W-förmigen Nuten 26 der in der Bügeleisensohlenfläche
innere Teil mit der gerundeten Spitze zur Bügelspitze 20 hin weisend ausgerichtet, so
daß ähnlich wie bei den V-förmigen Nuten Naß-Trockenintervalle aufeinanderfolgen in
der Bügeleisensohle jedoch ein noch besseres Drehverhalten auf dem Bügelgut gegeben
ist.The
Die Bügeleisensohle 6 nach Fig. 6 weist ähnlich wie die Bügeleisensohle 2 in einem
Bereich benachbart zur Bügelspitze 20 eine V-förmige Nut 19 für Oberflächendampf und
nachfolgend benachbart dazu ähnlich wie bei der Bügeleisensohle 2 beiderseits jeweils
drei Nuten 24 auf, die wie bei der Bügeleisensohle 2 auf jede dritte tropfenförmige Nut
für den zweiten Dampfaustritt folgen und diese nur nach außen zur Außenkontur der
Bügeleisensohle hin verlängern. Darauf folgen erneut im Abstand auf jede dritte tropfenförmige
Nut für eine zweite Dampfaustrittsöffnung 15 zwei Verbindungsnuten 27, die
im sowohl relativ zur Längsrichtung der Bügeleisensohle als auch zur Querrichtung der
Bügeleisensohle mittleren Bereich innerhalb der U- bzw. der V-Form der zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
15 angeordnet sind. Die Verbindungsnuten 27 sind ähnlich wie die
W-förmigen Nuten 26 bei der Bügeleisensohle 5 derart ausgebildet, daß zwischen zwei
gegenüberliegenden tropfenförmigen Nuten für zweite Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 15 die
Verbindungsnut etwa die Form eines V aufweist, dessen gerundete "Spitze" zur Bügelspitze
20 hinweist. Im Gegensatz zur W-förmigen Nut 26 der Bügeleisensohle 5 ist die
Verbindungsnut 27 jedoch nicht mit einer Verlängerung der Nut nach außen zur Außenkontur
hin für die Abgabe von Oberflächendampf versehen. Somit dienen die Verbindungsnuten
27 zur verstärkten Befeuchtung des Bügelgutes unterhalb der Bügeleisensohle
beim Bügeln, wobei mit den gleichen Vorteilen wie bei der Bügeleisensohle 5 eine
gute Drehbarkeit der Bügeleisensohle auf dem Bügelgut gegeben ist.6 has a
Die Bügeleisensohle 7 nach Fig. 7 weist ähnlich zu allen zuvor beschriebenen Bügeleisensohlen
zwei Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 15 auf, die insgesamt die Form eines V oder
U mit der Spitze des V bzw. der Rundung des U zugewandt zur Bügelspitze 20, auf. Es
sind drei vorderste tropfenförmige Nuten vorgesehen, in denen die zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
15 jeweils dreifach für jede tropfenförmige Nut im Spitzenbereich
eingebohrt sind. Darauffolgend, in Richtung abgewandt zur Bügelspitze 20, sind zwei
gegenüberliegende tropfenförmige Nuten mit jeweils drei Bohrungen für zweite Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
zu einer gemeinsamen etwa V-förmigen Nut miteinander verbunden
und insgesamt mit neun zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 15 versehen. Die Spitze
dieser V-förmigen Nut ausschließlich für Dampf unter dem Dampfbügeleisen ist von der
Bügelspitze 20 abgewandt, also spiegelbildlich zu dieser angeordnet. Somit ist im
Spitzenbereich eine besonders ausgeprägte Bedampfung unterhalb der Bügeleisensohle
möglich. Ferner zeichnet sich die Bügeleisensohle 7 in besonderer Weise dadurch aus,
daß der gesamte mittlere Bereich und ein großer hinterer Bereich abgewandt zur Bügelspitze
20 und zugewandt zur hinteren Außenkante 21 als eine große Nachtrocknungszone
ohne irgendwelche Dampfaustrittsöffnung vorgesehen ist. Über die Länge der
Bügeleisensohle 7 von der Bügelspitze 20 bis zur hinteren Außenkante 21, benachbart
zu der auch das Bügeleisen abstellbar ist, weist diese Bügeleisensohle 7 einen Bedampfungsbereich
für Dampf unter dem Bügeleisen und für Oberflächendampf auf, der sich
im wesentlichen lediglich auf der vorderen Hälfte, also der der Bügelspitze 20 zugewandten
Hälfte befindet. Die an die Bügelspitze 20 unmittelbar angrenzenden Seiten 22,
23 der Außenkontur der Bügeleisensohle 7 weisen einen zur Bügelspitze 20 zugewandten
einander spitz zulaufenden Bereich auf. Die ersten und zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
sind im wesentlichen nur in diesem "spitz" zulaufenden Bereich der Bügeleisensohle
7 angeordnet. Zur Bereitstellung von Oberflächendampf sind an der Bügeleisensohle
7 eine V-förmige Nut 19 unmittelbar benachbart zur Bügelspitze 20 ähnlich
zu den V-förmigen Nuten bei den vorangegangenen Bügeleisensohlen, und beiderseits
jeweils fünf Kurznuten bzw.Vertiefungen 28 vorgesehen. Die V-förmige Nut 19 wird mit
drei zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 15 mit Dampf versorgt, so daß eine besonders
große Dampfmenge durch die ersten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 18 der V-förmigen Nut
19 unmittelbar in einen Bereich um die Bügelspitze 20 austritt. Die Kurznuten 28
erstrecken sich beiderseits der an die Bügelspitze angrenzenden Seiten 22 und 23
ausgehend von der Außenkontur nach innen (um etwa 1 cm) zur Bügelflächenmitte, und
sind ähnlich wie die zuvor beschriebenen Nuten 19, 24, 25, 26 in einem solchen Winkel
zur Außenkontur 22, 23 der an die Bügelspitze 20 angrenzenden Seiten angeordnet, daß
eine Dampfrichtungskomponente nach vorne zur Bügelspitze bzw. eine Dampfrichtung
nach seitlich vorne bereitgestellt ist. Es soll damit erreicht werden, daß nur der Bereich
mit Oberflächendampf versehen wird, der in der Bewegungsrichtung für das erstmalige
Überbügeln eines Bereiches am Bügelgut am nächsten liegt.The

wird, die unmittelar vor der Bügelspitze 20 oder unmittelbar an den benachbarten

In diesen seitlich vor der Bügeleisensohle liegenden Bereich wird der Oberflächendampf
durch die Anordnung der ersten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 18 und die
Ausrichtung der Nuten 19, 24, 25, 26, 28 auf das Bügelgut aufgedampft. Selbstverständlich
ist das Bügeleisen in allen Richtungen bewegbar, es soll die oben bezeichnete
Bewegungsrichtung die bevorzugte sein, mit der meist das Bügelgut erstmals überbügelt
wird. Die Kurznuten 28 sind nach den vordersten drei tropfenförmigen Nuten für die
zweite Dampfaustrittsöffnung 15 mit der jeweils nachfolgenden dritten tropfenförmigen
Nuten ausgerichtet. Die Kurznuten 28 sind an ihrem inneren Endbereich mit einer
zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnung 29 versehen, die einerseits Dampf unter dem Bügeleisen
und andererseits Oberflächendampf entlang der Kurznut 28 und durch die erste Dampfaustrittsöffnung
18 bereitstellt. Die zweite Dampfaustrittsöffnung 29 steht bevorzugt
ebenso wie die zweite Dampfaustrittsöffnung 15 mit den tropfenförmigen Nuten mit der

Die Bügeleisensohle 8 ist ähnlich wie die Bügeleisensohle 4 mit V-förmigen Nuten 19
versehen, wobei die zur Bügelspitze 20 nächstliegende V-förmige Nut 19 mit drei und
die drauffolgende V-förmige Nut mit neun zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen versehen
ist. Wie schon bei den vorangegangenen Nuten für Oberflächendampf sind auch bei
dieser Ausführungsform die V-förmigen Nuten relativ zueinander in etwa gleichem
Abstand zueinander und auf einem vorderen Bereich relativ zur Bügelspitze angeordnet.
Die erste V-förmige Nut 19 unmittelbar benachbart zur Bügelspitze 20 schließt zwischen
ihren Schenkeln einen Winkel von etwa 60° bzw. einen halben Winkel 30 von 30° ein.
Dieser Winkel zwischen den Schenkeln der V-förmigen Nut 19 vergrößert sich geringfügig
von Nut 19 zu Nut 19 in Bewegungsrichtung nach hinten, so daß der Winkel 31
zwischen der Längsmittelachse 50 der Bügeleisensohle und der Mittelachse 49 durch die
Nut 19 eines Schenkels der V-förmigen Nut einen Winkel von größer 50° einschließt.
Dies führt zu einer gleichmäßigen Dampfverteilung des Oberflächendampfs um den in
Bewegungsrichtung vorderen Teil der Bügeleisensohle. Ein repräsentativer Schnitt durch
eine der Nuten 19 entlang der Längsachse bzw. Symmetrieachse 50 der Bügeleisensohle
8 zeigt (siehe Fig. 8a), in welcher Weise die Nut durch Eindrücken in das Aluminiumblechteil
ausgebildet ist. Durch eine Tiefe der Nut 32 von mindestens 1 mm ist bereits
gewährleistet, daß die erste und die zweite Dampfaustrittsöffnung unabhängig von der
Beschaffenheit des Bügelgutes druckausgleichend miteinander in Verbindung stehen
kann. Die Breite der Nut 33 beträgt in einem tieferen Bereich vorzugsweise 2-4 mm und
im Bereich der auf dem Bügelgut aufliegt (in Fig. 8 Bezugszeichen 34) 3-5 mm.The

Bügelspitze angrenzenden Seiten ausgebildet. Es sind bei der um die Symmetrielängsachse
erneut spiegelsymmetrischen Anordnung beiderseits vier verlängernde Nuten 41
in gleichmäßigen Abständen zueinander vorgesehen. Die Abschrägung 38 weist eine
Breite von etwa 4-6 mm auf. Die Abschrägungen 38 sind bei allen Ausführungsformen
jedoch grundsätzlich so bemessen, daß die erste Dampfaustrittsöffnung 18 unabhängig
von der Beschaffenheit des Bügelgutes jederzeit mit der zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnung

Fig. 11 a zeigt eine Bügeleisensohle 11, in der die zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 15
in konventioneller Weise, wie bereits zuvor beschrieben, angeordnet sind. Die erste
Dampfaustrittsöffnung 18 ist durch einen Spalt zwischen der Abschrägung 43 und dem
Bügelgut gebildet. Die Abschrägung 43 erstreckt sich soweit bis zum mittleren Bereich
der Bügeleisensohle 11, daß zumindest die relativ zur Bügelspitze 20 vordersten drei
tropfenförmigen Nuten für die zweite Dampfaustrittsöffnung 15 teilweise in die Abschrägung
hineinreichen, so daß eine Dampfverbindung zwischen erster und zweiter
Dampfaustrittsöffnung gebildet ist. Die Abschrägung 43 bildet mit dem Bügelgut eine
erste Dampfaustrittsöffnung 18, die sich im Gegensatz zu allen sonstigen Ausführungsbeispielen
bis in einen Bereich einschließlich der Bügelspitze 20 erstreckt. Die Bügeleisensohle
11 ist dadurch mit einer abgeschrägten Feinbügelspitze ausgebildet, die für
sich genommen wie andere Aspekte dieser Anmeldung auch, Gegenstand einer Patentanmeldung
werden kann. Die Abschrägung 43 erstreckt sich ausgehend von der Bügelspitze
in Richtung zur gegenüberliegenden Seite von 1/5 bis zu 1/3 der Gesamtlänge von
der Bügelspitze bis zur Hinterseite der Bügeleisensohle. Somit ist eine Feinbügelspitze
integriert, mit der durch leicht geneigtes Halten des Bügeleisens ausschließlich im
vorderen Bereich um die Bügelspitze herum gebügelt werden kann, ohne daß die dahinterliegenden
Bereiche mit der übrigen Bügelfläche 39 in Berührung kommen und somit
unerwünschte Falten eingebügelt werden könnten, während mit der abgeschrägten
Feinbügelspitze schwierig zu erreichende Bereiche des Bügelgutes bügelbar sind. In
normaler Betriebsweise des Bügeleisens, bei der die Bügelfläche 39 in Kontakt ist mit
dem Bügelgut, ist die Bügelspitze jedoch durch die Abschrägung 43 vom Bügelgut
erhaben, so daß sich der Oberflächendampf besonders intensiv und effizient in einem
vordersten Bereich um die Bügelspitze 20 herum ausbreitet. Die Abschrägung 43
erstreckt sich entlang der Symmetrieachse 50 wenige Zentimeter bis zur Bügelfläche

In Fig. 11b ist eine Seitenansicht der Bügeleisensohle 11 ohne sonstige Bestandteile des
Bügeleisens dargestellt. Die für sich genommen plane Abschrägung 43 der Feinbügelspitze
ist in einem Winkel zur gedachten Verlängerung der übrigen planen Bügelfläche
39, 44 um 3-6° geneigt. Diese Neigung ist ausreichend, um eine ständige druckausgleichende
Verbindung zwischen erster und zweiter Dampfaustrittsöffnung unabhängig
vom Bügelgut zu gewährleisten. Ferner gibt der relativ kleine Winkel 44 eine Dampfströmungsrichtung
vor, die eine sehr oberflächennahe Ausbreitung des Oberflächendampfes
ermöglicht. Zwischen Bügelfläche 39 und Abschrägung 38, 43 ist jedoch
mindestens ein Winkel von 130° eingeschlossen.In Fig. 11b is a side view of the

eine konventionelle gleichbleibende Bügelfläche, wie dies bei bisherigen
Bügeleisen auch der Fall ist, mit der Besonderheit, daß dennoch Oberflächendampf durch
die ersten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 18 seitlich entlang der Außenkontur austreten kann.
Es sind vorzugsweise vier seitliche Schlitze etwa im äußersten Bereich der Bügeleisensohle
12 auf jeder Seite 22, 23 ausgebildet. Die ersten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 18
befinden sich, ausgehend von der Bügelspitze 20, im vorderen Drittel der Bügeleisensohle
12, wobei im Bereich unmittelbar an der Bügelspitze keine Schlitzöffnung ausgebildet
sein soll, um ein Verhaken mit dem Bügelgut zu vermeiden. Dennoch ist durch die der
Bügelspitze am nächsten liegende erste Dampfaustrittsöffnung 18 gewährleistet, daß
sich der Oberflächendampf beim vorliegenden Dampfdruck auch bis unmittelbar vor die

Zustand mit der Bügeleisensohle 46) zweite Dampföffnungen 47 auf. Die zweiten
Dampföffnungen 47 sind etwa rechteckförmig oder im Spitzenbereich V-förmig ausgebildet,
so daß der Dampf unterhalb des Bügeleisens unvermindert an das Bügelgut
weitergeleitet wird. Durch Kanäle 48 ist eine Dampfverbindung von den zweiten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
zu den ersten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen hergestellt. Die Kanäle 48
sind ähnlich wie die Nuten 24 der Bügeleisensohle 2 ausgerichtet, können jedoch auch
an der von der Bügelfläche der Bügeleisensohle 46 abgewandten Seite angeordnet sein,
so daß die ersten Dampfaustrittsöffnungen 18 bei aufgesetztem Dampfbügeleisen auf
die Bügeleisensohle 46 ähnlich wie in Fig. 12b auf einer Höhe von wenigen Millimetern

Dampfausbreitung des Oberflächendampfes, der in einem Bereich um die Bügelspitze,
also vor und neben ihr, als auch in einem vorderen Bereich der angrenzenden Seiten 22
und 23 vorgesehen ist. Bei manchen Ausführungsformen, beispielsweise der nach Fig.
11a, erstreckt sich die Dampfwolke für Oberflächendampf nicht ganz so weit wie in Fig.
14 dargestellt, also nur zu etwa 1/4 von der Bügelspitze ausgehend nach hinten. Es ist
bevorzugt, daß die erste Dampfaustrittsöffnung in einem vorderen Bereich, ausgehend
von der Bügelspitze, sich zu 1/5 bis 2/3 der Gesamtlänge nach hinten erstreckt bzw.
zumindest im hinteren Bereich der Bügeleisensohle, der der Abstellfläche des Bügeleisens
zugewandt ist, eine Trocknungszone über mindestens 1/7 bis zur Hälfte der
Gesamtlänge der Bügeleisensohle ausgebildet ist, so daß nicht nur für eine gute Befeuchtung
bzw. Bedampfung des Bügelgutes, sondern auch für eine ausreichende
Trocknung gesorgt ist.FIG. 14 symbolically shows an
