Abstract

Claims (19)

  1. Container of the kind comprising:
    a flask (1) presenting a threaded neck (5) defining an end aperture (6) of large diameter, typically between 4 and 20 centimetres;
    a stopper (30) of which the lateral skirt (32) provides threads (38a, 38b, 38c) complementary to the threads of the neck of the flask;
    the said flask (1) and the said stopper (30) being made of plastic material,
    the neck (5) of the flask (1) including a zone (21) of grooves (22), these grooves (22) being separated by ridges (24);
    the stopper (30) including a security band (34) joined to the skirt (32) by frangible bridges (35), the said band (34) being provided with a plurality of notches (52) located and directed towards the outside of the band (34);
    the grooves (22) and the ridges (24) of the neck (5) cooperating with the notches (52) of the band such as to interfere at the time of the first unscrewing of the stopper (30), and allowing the rupture of the bridges (35),
    the end aperture (6) of the flask (1) being defined by a lip (10) inclined relative to a transversal plane P of the flask (30),
    this lip (10) having the function in the first instance to receive and to ensure the integrity of a protective closure cap of the flask (10) and, in the second instance, the closure cap having been raised on the first unscrewing of the flask, to constitute a sealing region cooperating with the stopper (30), characterized in that the lip (10) includes, around the end aperture (6):
    a first face (13) inclined at a first angle (α1) relative to the transversal plane P;
    a second face (14), inclined at a second angle (α2), greater than the first angle (α1), relative to the transversal plane.
  2. Container according to claim 1, characterised in that the sealing is ensured by the squeezing of the lip (10) by the screwing of the stopper (30).
  3. Container according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the first angle (α1) is between 1 and 20°.
  4. Container according to claim 3, characterised in that the first angle (α1) is substantially 15°.
  5. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the second angle is between 40 and 60°.
  6. Container according to claim 5, characterised in that the second angle is substantially 45°.
  7. Container according any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the notches (52) are six in number, the grooves (22) and ridges (24) of the neck (5) also being six in number.
  8. Container according to claim 7, characterised in that the grooves (22) and ridges (24) of the neck (5) and regularly spaced about the periphery of the neck (5).
  9. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the frangible bridges (35) are triangular cones and are defined towards the inside of the stopper by a substantially vertical surface (47) of trapezoidal shape and, towards the outside of the stopper (30), by a surface (48) inclined relative to the vertical.
  10. Container according to claim 9, characterised in that the angle of inclination of the surface (48) relative to the vertical is between 5 and 15°.
  11. Container according to claim 10, characterised in that the angle of inclination of the surface (48) relative to the vertical is substantially 10°.
  12. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that zones of support (49) of the band (34) on the skirt (32) are disposed between the frangible bridges (35), such that when the stopper (30) is in place on the flask (10), the band engages the skirt in the regions of the zones of support (49), thereby reducing the forces of severance on the frangible bridges (35).
  13. Container according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the flask is made of a material chosen from the group comprising: polyvinyl chloride, polyolefins such as low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, or a mixture of low and high density polyethylene, cellulose triacetate, acrylic polymers, polycarbonate, complex bi- and tri-polymers, polypropylene and its copolymers, mixed polyethylene and polypropylene.
  14. Container according to claim 13, characterised in that the flask is formed by blown extrusion.
  15. Container according to any one of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the stopper (30) is made of a material chosen from the group comprising: polyvinyl chloride, polyolefins such as low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, or a mixture of low and high density polyethylene, cellulose triacetate, acrylic polymers, polycarbonate, complex bi- and tri-polymers, polypropylene and its copolymers, mixed polyethylene and polypropylene.
  16. Container according to claim 15, characterised in that the stopper (30) is formed by injection.
  17. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 16, characterised in that the neck (5) comprises at least two threads (9a, 9b, 9c), the stopper (30) comprising three complementary threads (38a, 38b, 38c).
  18. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 17, characterised in that the stopper (30) is made in a retractable mould.
  19. Container according to claim 18, characterised in that the lateral skirt (32) of the stopper (30) is located in the vertical extension of the side wall (4) of the body (2).
