Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

The invention relates to a device for connecting a External antenna with the specified in the preamble of claim 1 Characteristics.

It is already known the antenna base of an external antenna Motor vehicle with one with the transmitting and / or receiving part the antenna electrically connected antenna connector to provide and this through a round hole in the Pass through the vehicle body provided opening and to one connected to a transmitting and / or receiving device Antenna cable e.g. to be connected via screwable connecting means. By turning the external antenna around the axis Another pin is to prevent the antenna connection provided as anti-twist protection on the antenna base by a second opening of the vehicle body provided for this purpose is passed through. The two openings are in many Motor vehicles standardized and consist of two Round holes with different diameters, which are in are a predetermined distance from each other. Disadvantageous here is that only one antenna connection through the first opening is feasible. Should be a second transmitter and / or receiver via a separate antenna cable to the antenna must be connected, a third opening for the implementation an additional antenna connection can be provided. This is many with the given standard connections Motor vehicle manufacturers not possible.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

The control device according to the invention with the characteristic Features of claim 1 has the advantage that the external antenna via an additional plug connection a second transmitting and / or receiving device connected can be without the in the vehicle body provided standard openings are changed for this have to. This is advantageously achieved in that the in the second opening inserted pin for receiving a as Plug connection trained additional antenna connection is provided. The integration of a second antenna connection in the pin allows the connection of another Transmitting and / or receiving device to the antenna (duplex system), without changing the from the car manufacturer predetermined standard openings of the motor vehicle body.

Further advantageous refinements and developments of Invention are by the specified in the dependent claims Features. So it is advantageous in that Pin integrated plug connection as coaxial cable connection to be trained in the SMB standard. This advantageously achieves that e.g. a radio to the through the first opening in the antenna connection passed through the vehicle body can be connected and also a transmission and / or Receiver for GPS signals (e.g. a satellite phone) can be connected to the antenna. With the previously known devices for connecting an antenna is this not possible.

Zeichnungdrawing

An embodiment of the invention is in the drawing shown and is described in more detail in the following description explained. Fig. 1 shows schematically a cross section through an external antenna mounted on a vehicle roof.

Beschreibung des AusführungsbeispielsDescription of the embodiment

As can be seen in FIG. 1, a body part 2 has of a motor vehicle a first opening 9 and a second Opening 6 for attaching an external antenna 1. The openings are round holes with one from the motor vehicle manufacturer predetermined standardized diameter. The Antenna 1 has one placed on motor vehicle body 2 Antenna base 3 with an antenna connection 4, which is guided through the first opening 9 into the vehicle interior and there via a fastening means 15 on the vehicle body 2 is set. Besides, one with at least a first transmitting and / or receiving device 11 which e.g. can be a radio or a GSM phone, connected antenna cable 10 via the fastening means 15 to the antenna connection 4 connected. Without the pin 5, the antenna would be 1 not fixed against rotation on the body 2. Therefore 1 can also be seen that a with the antenna base 2 connected pin 5 through a second opening 6 is passed through in the body 2. This pin 5 serves on the one hand as protection against twisting and on the other hand for receiving an additional designed as a plug connection 7 Antenna connection that with the transmitting and receiving part of the Antenna 1 is connected. Furthermore, it is in the cone recessed connector 7 with the mating connector 8 one Antenna cable 12 connectable, which is connected to a second transmitting and / or receiving device 13. Preferably is the plug connection 7 a 50-ohm coaxial cable connection or an SMB connector, which e.g. for GPS signals (global positioning System) is suitable. The device 13 can e.g. a satellite phone be. It is possible via the plug connection 7 Transmit signals to the antenna 1 and to receive radio signals from a satellite at the same time. over the antenna connection 4 can then e.g. broadcasting at the same time received or a GSM telephone can be used.
