Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for the transmission of Data from a motor vehicle, based on operating parameters and / or measured values are derived.
With digital cellular networks is also the transmission of Data from vehicles in fixed facilities and vice versa possible. So suggestions have already been made Data from central traffic control computers in motor vehicles to receive and also by corresponding entries on To query the terminal in the motor vehicle in a targeted manner or to call emergency and breakdown services.
The object of the present invention is to Data derived from operating parameters and / or measured values, preferably signals from arranged in the motor vehicle Sensors and switches of a fixed or mobile Facility to transmit without the respective Drivers must do this. This task will solved according to the invention in that a Transceiver as a terminal of a mobile radio network is formed and has an interface that the Data can be fed.
Preferably in the device according to the invention provided that the data as messages from the terminal too fixed facilities are transferred.
Suitable for the device according to the invention Ultimately, operating parameters and / or measured values can all parameters occurring during the operation of a vehicle or Output signals from sensors. As examples called: the speed, the outside temperature and Switch positions, such as the rear fog lamp, the Wipers or lighting. You can also Operating parameters the position and course of a vehicle be, this information from a navigation system, for example from a satellite navigation system, can be won.
By transferring data from sensors and switches of a vehicle to the terminal, it is possible continuously and without distracting the driver, information to a stationary or, if necessary, to a mobile Transfer facility. For example, a Airbag sensor along with location information through a Satellite navigation system (for example GPS = Global Positioning System) can be determined reliably Information about accidents. Weather conditions can for example via fog lights and / or Wiper switch or transmitted via temperature sensors become. From the switched on rear fog lights A traffic control computer can help vehicles appropriate algorithms for the presence of fog close and initiate corresponding messages. Here can already make a rough determination of the fog area the cellular structure of the mobile network and alternatively a more precise location is done by GPS. A redirect the information to road users who are in the stop in the same region, this warns of danger spots and helps prevent accidents.
A first advantageous embodiment of the invention Setup is that the interface of the Terminal is connected to an interface module and that the interface module inputs for the data and / or for the operating parameters and / or measured values. In order to it is possible not to provide specially interfaced Connect sensors and their output signals in to supply the terminal in a suitable form. In addition, that can Interface module still connected to a CAN controller be so that there are signals from sensors and switches can forward that connected via a CAN bus are. It can be provided that the interface of the Terminal with the interface module via a serial Data line or connected via a CAN bus.
If a CAN bus is used, the Device according to the invention in an advantageous manner be trained that the interface module a Microcomputer, which the operating parameters and / or measured values are feedable, and one with the microcomputer and with the CAN controller connected to the CAN bus.
A second advantageous embodiment of the invention Setup is that the operating parameters and / or measured values via at least one CAN controller and one connected to the interface of the terminal CAN bus can be fed. This embodiment is especially for connecting sensors that already match Have interfaces, suitable.
Conventional sensors should also be connected can be in the second embodiment of the invention be provided that a further on the CAN bus Interface module for connection to other sensors connected.
In the device according to the invention, an advantageous one Coding of the data and / or operating parameters and / or Measured values are achieved in that two bytes per Sensor are provided, with a first byte Identification means and a second byte means a value represents. This can be done at the interface and / or on the CAN bus can be provided.
A further development of the device according to the invention exists in that the operating parameters and Measured values are filtered and / or linked. This Further training contributes, among other things, to a large extent only the data intended for transmission to the end device to get redirected. For example Switch positions are queried several times, whereupon one Transmission only takes place if the switch position of interest existed for a long time Has.
This development can be carried out such that a Transmission via the serial interface only after Filtering of several operating parameters and / or measured values or several already linked operating parameters and / or Measured values are carried out. This is the amount of data to be transferred diminishes, especially when equipping many Vehicles with the device according to the invention advantageous is.
It can also be provided that in the interface module it is specified which data is transmitted or that by instructions transmitted over the cellular network which data is transmitted is specified.

The block diagrams consist of function blocks shown, which are also constructive units can correspond. Another constructive assignment is however quite possible. For example, that Interface module can be integrated in the terminal or a Structural satellite navigation receiver with the terminal be summarized.
In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1, 3, 4, 5
and 6 is a
12 aufweist. Die dargestellte Zahl der Eingänge ist
lediglich ein Beispiel. Es können je nach Bedarf mehr oder
weniger Eingänge vorgesehen sein, denen Betriebsparameter
und Meßwerte - im folgenden auch Sensorsignale genannt -
zuführbar sind. Die serielle Datenleitung 4 kann als der im
Kraftfahrzeugbau eingeführte CAN-Bus ausgebildet sein, was
The
Signalwandler 19. Weitere Eingänge 27, 28, Signalwandler und
Analog/Digital-Wandler sind in Fig. 2 lediglich angedeutet.
Das Schnittstellenmodul 5 (Fig. 1) entspricht im
wesentlichen dem Schnittstellenmodul 23 und braucht deshalb
nicht nochmals erläutert zu werden.2 is an example of an interface module 23
a circuit shown, which consists essentially of a
Der Mikrocomputer 14 mit integriertem Daten- und
Programmspeicher steuert die Umsetzung der Sensorsignale in
CAN-Daten-Rahmen und koordiniert weitere interne Abläufe. Je
The
Finally, a selection of the data to be transferred is also available depending on those added via the cellular network Instructions possible. This allows vehicles, for example be asked to send data that is in a given region in which this data for a Evaluation are interesting. So it doesn't make sense that Thousands of vehicles within an urban area Send out messages that their speed is a falls below predetermined threshold, while such Reports from vehicles traveling on a motorway Indication of a traffic jam.
diskrete Werte. Der CAN-Controller 15 ist als integrierter
Schaltkreis auf dem Markt erhältlich. The signal converters set those emitted by the sensors

Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 3 ist die
Schnittstelle 3 des Endgerätes 1 über einen CAN-Bus 20 mit
zwei CAN-Controllern 21, 22 und einem Schnittstellenmodul 23
verbunden.3 is the
In Fig. 3 schematisch dargestellte Sensoren 30, 31,
sind, Vorrang genießen.3 is for the case

In the embodiment shown in Fig. 5 is a
Gegenüber dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 5 ist das
Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 6 durch einen
Satellitennavigationsempfänger 48 mit einer Antenne 49
erweitert.
Compared to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5, this is

The output signal of the crash signal generator (line 51) one Air bags is just a trigger, that is a short one Pulse. This is identified and indicated as indicated transferred according to columns C and D of the table. The ABS system (line 52) generates a signal when activated is. The signal from the wheel sensor (line 53) is converted into pulses measured and transmitted per second, for which the data content in column D of the table is marked with x.
The switches shown in lines 54 to 56 are that Hazard lights, the rear fog lamp and the wiper assigned and give an on / off signal, as well as the System output of a traction control in line 57. Line 58 is the temperature sensor of the outside thermometer listed, the output signal of which is an analog signal, just like the signals from a distance sensor and one Sensors for visibility (lines 59 and 60), which each represent a distance.
- drei Bit frei,
- fünf Bit Dateninhalt.
- eight bits for the internal identification of the respective sensor,
- three bits free,
- five bit data content.
The first byte is the sensor or switch identified. The last five bits in the second byte contain the on / off information for switches (cf. above table), for sensors, the continuous signals different values are possible.
jeweiligen Signals enthält.7a shows the structure of an advantageous coding of the
Data with two
So besagt beispielsweise 00001 in Fig.
7b, daß die Nebelrückleuchte eingeschaltet ist, während in
Fig. 7c 10010 bedeutet, daß eine Außentemperatur von 14 °C
von -20 °C bis +42 °C codiert.FIGS. 7b and 7c show the data of two as examples
