Claims (11)
- Heatable calendering roll with several heating channels extending in the longitudinal direction of the roll body and with one or more heaters (6) which are provided in the interior of the heating channels and pass through the heating channels (3) and which in the rotating state of the roll are directly or inductively connectible with a current source, characterised in that the heaters (6) are arranged at or in a hose-like carrier (4) of soft-elastic synthetic material, especially of a polyorganosiloxane compound, in such a manner that under radial expansion they are able to bear, together with the hose-like carrier (4), against the inner circumferential surface (11) of the heating channels.
- Calendering roll according to claim 1, characterised in that the outer circumferential surface of the carrier hose (4) is connected with the inner circumferential surface (11) of the heating channels (3) by vulcanising or gluing.
- Calendering roll according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the carrier hose (4) is loadable with pressurised gas, especially compressed air.
- Calendering roll according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a fluoro silicon or a silicon rubber is used as the polyorganosiloxane.
- Calendering roll according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the electric heater (6) is constructed in the form of a radially flexible spiral wire or wire mesh, which is extrusion-moulded into the wall (5) of the carrier hose (4).
- Calendering roll according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the heating wire (6) has an insulating coating.
- Calendering roll according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that two carrier hoses (4) extending approximately up to the roll centre are provided.
- Calendering roll according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the carrier hose (4) consists of an inner hose of smaller diameter and an outer hose of larger diameter, wherein the electric heater (6) is arranged between inner hose and outer hose.
- Calendering roll according to claim 8, characterised in that the hoses are glued together.
- Calendering roll according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the heater is constructed as an induction heater.
- Calendering roll according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that thermosensors for controlling the heating current of the electric heater are provided at the outer side of the carrier hose.
