Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for fastening an object, in particular a data carrier plate to a surface, in particular a print medium.
Under a disk drive so-called. CD-ROMs or other disks are understood that store digital data changeable or immutable; but especially so-called compact discs. Such data carriers are often inserted in magazines or books in order to provide the user with additional information that he can read or even process with a special player. However, the invention is also applicable to perfume bottles, cream samples, bound inserts, material samples and other items.
Print media are z. As books, booklets, folders, inserts or similar information carriers made of paper, foil or similar materials, in exceptional cases, the information carrier can also be unprinted.
To attach the article or the disk drive in a book or booklet z. For example, put the disk in a paper or plastic bag and this bag will be glued to one side of the book or booklet. Often the disk is placed directly behind the cover of the book or notebook. This makes it possible to provide a view of the attached in the book or booklet disk by a punched in the envelope.
Also, for example, it is known from GB-A-341 146 for records to insert these after a corresponding bag is mounted on the cover of a book in this pocket. In an alternative embodiment, this document describes a firm connection between book and record, so that the book is placed together with the record on a turntable.
The introduction of disk media or other objects in paper bags or pouches is very laborious and feasible in large quantities only with very complicated machines. In addition, the delivery, separation, positioning and sticking of the bags on a special page of a book or booklet makes high demands on the required machines. As a result, the distribution of data carriers in books or notebooks requires very expensive machines, which ultimately increase the cost of production and thus the price of books or booklets.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a method of the type described above to objects such. B. disk disks on a surface such. As a print medium easy and inexpensive to attach.
This object is procedurally achieved by a method according to
In this case, the data carrier plate is placed in a first method step on a surface, such as. On a paper or board and attached to it. This process step is technically far easier to implement than the insertion of a disk drive into a bag, since it is understandably easier to place a disk drive with its flat side on a surface than to introduce with high precision in a flexible bag.
In the inventive. Method, the article for attachment at least partially coated with a layer, in particular a film, and the layer attached to the surface. This film serves on the one hand to protect the disk drive. On the other hand, however, the foil also covers at least part of the data carrier plate and serves to secure the data carrier plate to the surface. In addition to these functional advantages of the film, a film is also suitable to increase the appearance of value.
In a second method step, the surface on which the article is attached may be bonded to a print medium, such as a book or booklet. The surface is placed between the pages of the book or booklet so that it is incorporated into the book or booklet during the binding process. When binding the book or booklet thus no additional means for positioning and sticking of small bags are needed, but the invention. Surface is bound in the book or notebook like a normal book page.
The mentioned method steps can be inexpensively, rapidly and in high quantities with high precision feasible with known machines. As a result, on the one hand, the number of units processed per unit time can be increased and, on the other hand, known simple machines can be used.
Preferably, the fastening means are chosen so that a sufficient attachment is achieved solely by the juxtaposition or pressing together of an object covering layer and the surface.
This allows a much simplified construction of the machines to be used.
In order to facilitate the attachment, it is advantageous in many cases if the surface has a depression in or onto which the object can be placed. This facilitates, for example, at least partially coating the object with a layer or foil.
A simple attachment z. As a disk drive on the surface is also possible through the use of an adhesive layer. Such an adhesive device is known and widely used.
The attachment is achieved in that the fastening means has a fixed to the surface of the object at least partially covering layer. Such a layer is preferably a film which on the one hand enables the connection of the data carrier plate to the surface and on the other hand increases the value appearance of the device.
A simple attachment is achieved in that the layer is at least partially, preferably at the point where it is attached to the surface, self-adhesive. To a reaction between object and surface too To avoid this, it is advisable to apply an adhesive to the layer only at the outer edge where it rests on the surface.
Especially thicker objects would lead to folds in the film when attached by means of a film. Therefore, it is advantageous if the film is stretchable by heating, for example, or has a structure that allows the layer deforms when placed on the object or even adapts to the shape of the object.
A preferred embodiment of the layer provides that it has holes or is permeable to gas in order to hold with its arranged on one side of a suction element arranged on its other side object to the layer. This makes it possible to first grasp the film with a suction head and then to grasp a further object with the same suction head holding the film, in order subsequently to place it on a surface together with the film. By means of this principle several luftdruchlässige elements can be held as a layer structure of the same suction head and positioned together in one place.
Through holes in the layer and / or the object held by the suction head, a further suction head can also be passed through the layer and / or the object in order to detect further objects on the side opposite the suction head.
The holes in the layer or its gas permeability thus allow gripping the layer and at least one other object. Depending on Regulating the vacuum, the parts can be gripped and deposited simultaneously or in succession.
It is advantageous if the surface has a binding area. The fastener allows easy attachment z. As a disk drive and the binding area is designed so that the surface with known binding devices in a book or a booklet is einbindbar. For a stapler with saddle stitch, the binding area must be formed so that the spine can be passed through the area and the binding area must be dimensioned so as to avoid tearing of the area during conventional handling of the booklet. In the case of a glue bond, the binding area must be designed with regard to flexibility and material properties in such a way that impairment of the usual binding process is avoided.
To meet these requirements, preferably the area or at least the binding area is made of paper or cardboard. Since Buchbinder or the like with the processing of paper, cardboard, foils Material are familiar, is just the use of these materials for the invention. Purpose particularly suitable. Paper or cardboard is also easy to print on, easy to punch, and recyclable together with the book or notebook.
A particular embodiment of the invention provides that the binding compound divides the area into two parts. It is possible to fix on a part of the surface of the disk drive and provide the other part of the surface with more information or train as a removable card.
An embodiment of the invention. Device provides that the surface is a perforation z. B. between fastener and binding area. Such a perforation allows the removal z. B. a disk drive from the book along with a portion of the surface, which may contain, for example, additional information about the disk drive.
On the other hand, the perforation can also essentially follow the outline of the object. This makes it possible, for. B. also separate a non-detachably connected to the surface data carrier disk and play the disk drive on a player without removing the part of the surface. The area then serves as a print on the compact disk.
Since the article is covered with a layer, the perforation in the surface allows it to be removed from the packaging formed by the layer and the surface. Alternatively, such a perforation may also be provided in the layer.

In the following an example will be described which facilitates the understanding of the invention.
The integrated into the
On the part 4a of the
The other side 4b of the
Figure 3 shows the folded
The attachment of the
To insert the
Erfindungsgemäße Befestigungsmöglichkeiten, mittels einer Schicht, bspw. einer Compact Disc auf einer Fläche, die in das Printmedium eingebunden wird zeigen die Figuren 5 bis 8.Fastening possibilities according to the invention, by means of a layer, for example a compact disc on a surface, which is integrated into the print medium, are shown in FIGS. 5 to 8.
In FIG. 6, the
In FIG. 7, the entire
The
A very simple extremely thin package for a CD is shown in FIG. 10. A
The print head 50 shown in FIG. 12 consists of an
Figure 12b shows that by means of the
The suction head according to the invention thus serves both as a holding device for film and compact disc and as a pressing device for pressing the preferably self-adhesive film on a surface.
