Claims (13)

  1. An envelope (100; 200) for wrapping at least one article, the envelope being of the type constituted by a sleeve of heat-shrink plastics material having a main portion (101; 201) suitable for closely surrounding at least a portion of the article, if there is one article, or of the group of articles if there is a plurality of articles, said sleeve further comprising an additional flap (103; 203) extending externally by superposition and being connected via its ends to the main portion of the sleeve via two parallel lines of heat sealing (102, 105; 202, 205) extending along two generator lines of the sleeve, the envelope being characterized in that the two lines of heat sealing (102, 105; 202, 205) are close together so that the additional flap (103; 203) co-operates with the facing wall of the main portion (101; 201) of the sleeve to define a narrow housing (104; 204) designed to receive at least one elongate accessory (10), and the additional flap (103; 203) also has at least one cut (110; 210) defining the outline of a pull tab (111; 211) whose side edges extend towards a top or bottom free edge of said flap, to make it possible to tear off the tongue (115; 215) that is obtained by tearing the correspond portion of the flap by pulling on the associated pull tab (111; 211).
  2. An envelope according to claim 1, characterized in that the side edges of the or each pull tab (111; 211) are each extended by a respective line of perforations or the like (114; 214) extending substantially parallel to the lines of heat sealing (102, 105; 202, 205) as far as the corresponding free edge of the additional flap (103; 203).
  3. An envelope according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that each cut (110; 210) has a U-shaped or V-shaped curved outline.
  4. An envelope according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the additional flap (103; 203) has an add-on reinforcing strip (106; 206) extending parallel to the lines of heat sealing (102, 105; 202, 205), in which at least a portion of the or each cut (110, 210) defining a pull tab is formed.
  5. An envelope according to claim 4, characterized in that the entire length of the or each cut (110; 210) extends within the width of the reinforcing strip (106; 206).
  6. An envelope according to claim 4, characterized in that a portion of the or each cut (110; 210) extends within the width of the reinforcing strip (106; 206), and at least one of the side edges of the associated pull tab (111; 211) extends outside the width of said reinforcing strip.
  7. An envelope according to any one of claims 4 to 6, characterized in that the reinforcing strip (106; 206) extends over the full height of the sleeve.
  8. An envelope according to any one of claims 4 to 7, characterized in that the reinforcing strip (106; 206) is placed against the inside face of the additional flap (103; 203).
  9. An envelope according to any one of claims 4 to 8, characterized in that the reinforcing strip (106; 206) is made of plastics material using a monooriented film that is oriented in a determined direction, said strip being obtained in such a manner that its longitudinal direction is parallel to said determined direction.
  10. An envelope according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the additional flap (103; 203) has two cuts (110; 210) to enable a top tongue and a bottom tongue to be detached, said cuts leaving between them a central portion of said flap which serves to hold the elongate accessory (10) in removable manner.
  11. An envelope according to any one of claims 1 to 10, fitted with its elongate accessory(ies) (10) received in the associated narrow housing (104), the envelope being characterized in that the additional flap (103) has an additional cut (118) extending in the circumferential direction of the sleeve, said cut being disposed at a predetermined distance from the corresponding free edge of said flap between said free edge and the cut (110) defining a pull tab, and the elongate accessory(ies) (10) are also cut in register with said additional cut (118) so that the cut-off end of said accessory(ies) is/are removed when the corresponding tongue (115) is detached.
  12. An envelope according to claims 2 and 11, characterized in that the additional cut (118) extends between the two lines of perforations or the like (114), preferably without going all the way to them.
  13. An envelope according to any one of claims 1 to 12, fitted with its elongate accessory(ies) (10) received in the associated narrow housing (104; 204), with the corresponding tongues (115) being detached therefrom.
