Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fassung für Zweistiftlampen der im Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1 genannten Art.The invention relates to a socket for two-pin lamps in the preamble of claim 1 Art.

Such lamps and sockets are widely used. A disadvantage It has been found that the lamp is arranged in different heights. Will be one Lamp used in demonstration devices, for example, that a certain Have light optics, so the glow part of the lamp is not exactly on the desired position, rather it is under or depending on the insertion depth arranged above the center line of the optics, so that if necessary Loss of light occur.

The object of the invention is to make a version of the type mentioned to design that the lamp is always arranged evenly deep in the housing is. If possible, the exact arrangement should be automatic respectively. Nevertheless, cheap manufacture should be possible.

Diesen kommt im einzelnen folgende Bedeutung zu:This object is achieved by the features of characterizing part of claim 1 solved. This comes in detail the following meaning:

The device that ensures that the lamp pins when inserted Lamp can be contacted resiliently according to the preamble of claim 1, and which is to be referred to as "resilient contact" below designed such that the pin head from the resilient contact is attacked. In this way it is possible that when inserting the Lamp, which is done by rotating the lamp in the insertion openings, the entire lamp base is pulled into the socket until the Base underside, on which the contact pins are arranged, on the Contact surface of the housing. This ensures that the lamp rests securely on a reference point and thus axially Deflection or tilting is protected. As a result, the Glow part of the lamp always in relation to the socket and thus too the frame-bearing device comes to rest in a well-defined position, which corresponds to the solution of the above task.

It is particularly advantageous that the heads of the pins as a contact surface for reaching behind and thus for pulling the lamp into the Housing chamber can be used. This allows for that Lamp positioning and securing to achieve an effect that one Solution in the manner of a bayonet lock corresponds to how it e.g. in US 4 974 131 or US 5 422 487, but without special reference Devices on the lamp base, such as projections or corresponding Grooves to be instructed on most commercial lamps are not provided and a highly precise geometric coordination of the Require a pair of groove / projection on the lamp and socket.

The solution proposed in claim 1 also has significant advantages to a second disclosure in US 5,422,487. In it proposed to arrange the resilient contact so that on the Front surface of the pin heads a force against the direction of insertion Lamp is exercised in the socket. This does not come as in the Invention according to claim 1, the base surface of the lamp, but the rear, the pins radially projecting back of the pin heads on one Reference surface of the housing to the system. The hereby opposite the present invention can significantly reduced contact area do not guarantee a secure hold, especially against tipping, whereby the object underlying the invention disclosed here would be imperfectly resolved.

An embodiment is particularly advantageous in which the resilient Contact the pin head also in the end position of the lamp in the version in The direction of insertion of the pins into the housing is spring loaded. In this way it is ensured that the above, by the inventive Behind reach achieved effect even with frequent lamp changes and the any associated abrasion is retained.

The resilient contact is advisably designed in the form of a plate and is in the end position of the lamp with an inclined surface on the head of the pen in the area between the head and pen. Here is the contact loaded by a compression spring such that the inclined surface pulls on exerts the pin head that pulls the head deeper into the contact chamber.

It is recommended that the angled from the plate-shaped contact Sloping surface with a run-on slope, which when the Lamp in the arcuate insertion opening against the head of the pen the inclined surface guides. The inclined surface is favorably on one side provided a longitudinal edge of the plate-shaped contact. At a special embodiment, however, is the inclined surface Sloping edges are provided on both long sides of the contact. Here are the top view of the contact on the inclined surface with run-on slope one long side offset from the slopes on the other long side. By this measure makes the contact easier to mount because it can be used differently in the chamber without this for its effect would have disadvantages.

The socket consists of an insulating housing 10, which acts as a cylinder section is trained. On the upper side, a contact surface 11 can be seen is delimited by a pulled-out edge 18 in such a way that A receiving space 19 is created in which the lamp 28 engages in certain areas that is, until the base of the lamp on the contact surface 11 closes comes to lie.

Contact chambers 14 are provided in the interior of the insulating housing. This contain on a support surface 15 a compression spring 16 which against the Contact 17 is supported in such a way that this up to the Insertion openings 12 extends. The insulating housing itself is still provided with mounting holes 13 through which the insulating housing a carrier is determined. The contact 17 is plate-shaped. On two opposite longitudinal sides 22 there is an inclined surface 20 provided with chamfer 21.

Fig. 4 und 6).A closing plate is provided on the underside of the insulating housing, which closes the contact chambers 14 and thus the inside contacts located. The power supply to the lamp 28 takes place via the contacts 17, to each of which a connecting line 30 is attached is. The attachment could be done by welding, soldering, crimping (see FIGS. 4 and 6).

The insertion openings 12 each have an insertion area 26 and a rotation area 37. Through the insertion openings Power connections of the two-pin halogen lamp pushed in each case Pin 24, which has a cylindrical head 25 at its free end.

The insertion area 26 is now so large that the head of the Lamp pins can be easily pushed into the contact chamber. However, the range of rotation is so small that only the pin is left itself with its diameter. That way ensures that the head engages behind the rotating area and thus the Lamp can not fall off the housing, because the Lamp head engages behind the rotating area 27.

From Fig. 1 it can be seen that the pin head is arranged in the chamber, while the pin itself is in the turning range 27. The head touches a contact 17, namely an inclined surface 20 of the contact part on the side where the pin 24 is provided on the head 25, while with the actual plate part of the contact the free end of the head is touchable. This position is achieved in that the lamp and thus the two pins 24 with heads 25 rotated in the insertion openings 12 becomes. The two heads 25 of the pins first encounter one Starting slope 21 and finally in the end position against the Inclined surface 20. This then exerts such a pressure spring 16 Pressure on the head of the two-pin lamp, that this deeper into the Chamber 14 is moved and the lamp 28, partially with its surface 31 is shown in broken lines, is drawn onto the contact surface 11. This contact surface forms a reference surface with respect to the light cone, which the lamp emits later, so that the exact height of the Isoliergehäuses with regard to an optic or other part, where this is important, can be set. It should be briefly mentioned here that half-roundings 29 are provided on the outer edge. These are used to fix the insulating housing exactly on a carrier.

As already mentioned, the illustrated embodiment is only one exemplary implementation of the invention. This is not on it limited. Rather, there are still some changes and Applications possible. The head need not be cylindrical. He could also be mushroom-shaped. It is only important that one area arises, where the contact of the compression spring can attack. Be further still stated that the contacting or power supply via the Compression spring could be done, for example, on an electrical Supply line would be connected. It would also be possible instead To use contact and compression spring, to take a kind of leaf spring and to fix the one end firmly in the chamber, then the other end or the long sides and the inclined surface would be present. It it would only have to be ensured here that the leaf spring has such a force has that the lamp pulls on the contact surface.
