Abstract
Ein Kammer- oder Durchlauftrockner sowie Vorwärmer für keramische Formlinge aus auf einer Bodenplatte (1) aufgebauten thermisch isolierten Blechelementen (3) soll so ausgebildet werden, daß zur Erhöhung der Produktivität sowie der Wirtschaftlichkeit sowohl eine Verringerung des Bedarfs an Wärmeenergie als auch eine Beschleunigung der bisherigen Trocknungsprozesse gewährleistet wird. Dazu wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Decken (6) und/oder Wände (2,4) selbsttragend aus wannenförmigen Blechelementen (3) gebildet werden, die aus einer Grundfläche (14), allseitig abgekanteten Seitenwänden (15) sowie gegenüber diesen nach innen abgebogenen, im wesentlichen parallel zu der Grundfläche (14) verlaufenden Randstreifen (16) bestehen, bei denen die Randstöße fest miteinander verbunden sind, bei dem mit ihrer Grundfläche (14) in einer gemeinsamen Ebene stehenden Blechelemente (3) durch ihre Seitenwände (15) über Dichtungen (22) verspannende Verbindungen zusammengehalten sind, während rechtwinklig anschließende Blechelemente (3) durch Seitenwände (15) über Dichtungen (22) mit Randstreifen (16) verspannende Verbindungen gehalten sind, und daß die Grundflächen (14) der Blechelemente (3) durch Isolierpackungen (5,7) hinterfangen sind.
