Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Plattenwärmetauscher mit mehreren wärmeübertragenden Platten (1), deren Zwischenräume abwechselnd mit einem ersten und einem damit wärmetauschenden zweiten Medium beschickt werden. Dazu sind die Ein- und Auslaßöffnungen (2,3,13,14) durch Dichtungen (6,7,11,12) wechselweise gegenüber dem Strömungsraum und der Umgebung abgedichtet. Die Stärke dieser Dichtung ist zumindest im Brückenbereich an die Profilkontur des Plattenzwischenraumes angepaßt. Wesentlich ist, daß an der druckabgewandten Seite der Dichtung (6,7,11,12) eine Stützleiste (8,9,10) in die Platte (1) eingeformt ist, an der sich die Dichtung (6,7,11,12) abstützen kann.
