- the printing press contains four double printing units 1 to 4 Production changes, the double printing units 1 to 4 are stopped.
- the Printing plates are changed when the machine is at a standstill The absence of plate changing aids even cut the web
- the production change is with machine downtime and corresponding Losses connected. Start-up waste is also inevitable. It understands yourself that the individual printing units of the double printing units 1 to 4 each with own drives can be equipped.
- EP 0644048 A2 shows a printing unit in which one form and one First printing unit containing transfer cylinder optionally with a similar second or third printing unit in the rubber-rubber principle works together.
- the printing units each have their own drive motor. A change of production is possible without interrupting the web run, however, only one print image can be changed on one side of the web.
- CH-PS 549 471 shows a web-fed rotary printing press side by side arranged double printing units that work on the rubber-rubber principle printed web passed between the transfer cylinders.

- the Invention enables the simultaneous transition for a change of production to a different print on both sides of the web.
- the change is also during the web run in printing operation as a so-called flying Plate change possible. Thanks to the own drives of the printing units Double printing unit and the lack of meshing of their Transfer cylinders are the latter so far apart that a Web unaffected between them for printing in others Double printing can be performed. A cap and pulling in the Bru is therefore unnecessary. Overall, a change of production is very time-consuming waste-saving.
- double printing units that can be switched off are simultaneously, for example, on both sides Four colors can be changed, a 4-color production is flying on both sides changeable.
- Fig. 1a shows two double printing units 11, 12 as a printing unit configuration Printing press. Other units of the printing press, such as unwinding and Folder, are not here and also in the following embodiments shown.
- Each double printing unit 11, 12 contains two printing units 13, 14 which again each have a form cylinder 15, 16 and transfer cylinder 17, 18.
- the Printing units 13, 14 are arranged one above the other and form so-called I-printing units For printing a horizontally guided web 19 on both sides.
- the I printing units are the same, which is why this and the following Embodiments position digits for the individual elements for simplification were applied only once to the double printing unit 11. Only for special ones Refinements are made at retained position digits Differentiation codes .1, .2, Arrangement added.
- the double printing unit 11 is switched off, i.e. the form and Transfer cylinders 15 to 18 stand still. Besides, they are Transfer cylinders 17, 18 moved away from each other in such a way that between them through the web 19 to the double printing unit 12 and there 1 + 1, that is single-sided, can be printed. A distance between the two Transfer cylinder 17, 18 of approximately 20 mm is sufficient. With only one slight inclination of the connecting line of the centers of the opposed Transfer cylinder compared to the vertical, which is only a small one Gap of the tension channel for the rubber blanket or when using a Blanket sleeve is possible, this distance value can also be slightly below except for approx. 10 mm.
- the switched off double printing unit 11 stands for one even during production with the double printing unit 12 Plate change both on the forme cylinder 15 and on the forme cylinder 16 Available.
- Fig. 1b the double printing unit 11 was switched over, i.e., this was on and the double printing unit 12 switched off. This switching is at Path speed possible. So it gets on without stopping the train Production change carried out.
- the double printing unit 12 switched off the web printed by the double printing unit 11 1 + 1 between the passed away from each other transfer cylinders.
- a plate change can be made.
- a plate changing device 99, 100 is assigned to each printing unit 13, 14.
- Such plate changing devices are familiar to the person skilled in the art. It can z. B. a fully automatic plate changing device, as in DE 41 40 413 C2 or a semi-automatic plate changing device, as shown in DE 42 15 969 C2.
- Such plate changing devices can also used in the printing units described below come, provided their form cylinders are with a finite pressure plate A pressure plate 101 is symbolically on the forme cylinder 15 in Fig. 1a specified. After changing the plate or without having done so Plate change can be switched back to printing with the double printing unit 12. With the plate changing devices 99, 100 is a very fast plate change possible, so that the double printing unit 12 again quickly for one if necessary, the desired change is available.
- the double printing units 11, 12 act as double-sided impressions. Their use is mainly for Book printing displayed, both double printing units 11, 12 for printing the Color black can be provided.
- the printing press contains five that can be switched off Double printing units 20 to 24, the double printing unit 20 in FIG. 2a is switched off and the remaining double printing units 21 to 24 the web 25 4 + 4 print.

It is an object of the invention to provide a web-fed rotary printing press which enables a quick change of production.
This problem is solved by the independent claims. The Invention enables the simultaneous transition for a change of production to a different print on both sides of the web. The change is also during the web run in printing operation as a so-called flying Plate change possible. Thanks to the own drives of the printing units Double printing unit and the lack of meshing of their Transfer cylinders are the latter so far apart that a Web unaffected between them for printing in others Double printing can be performed. A cap and pulling in the Bahn is therefore unnecessary. Overall, a change of production is very time-consuming waste-saving. Depending on the degree of expansion of the printing press double printing units that can be switched off are simultaneously, for example, on both sides Four colors can be changed, a 4-color production is flying on both sides changeable.

Fig. 1a zeigt zwei Doppeldruckwerke 11, 12 als Druckwerkkonfiguration einer
Druckmaschine.
Fig. 1a shows two
Übertragungszylinder 15 bis 18 stehen still.
In Fig. 1a, the
In Fig. 1b, the
bedrucken. Vorteilhaft druckt das Doppeldruckwerk 21 Schwarz, 22 Cyan, 23
Magenta und 24 Gelb. Das stillstehende Doppeldruckwerk 20 wird mit den
Druckplatten für die nächstfolgende Produktion belegt.According to FIGS. 2a and 2b, the printing press contains five that can be switched off
Fortdruck, also fliegend, möglich. In Fig. 2b the printing machine is switched over, i.e. the
gewechselt werden.FIGS. 3a and 3b show eight
When changing production, the
Figures 4a and 4b show a further alternating printing unit version of a

zeigt Fig. 4b. Nunmehr bedrucken die angeschalteten Doppeldruckwerke 36, 38,
40, 42 die Bahn 43 beidseitig 4farbig in der Farbfolge Schwarz, Cyan, Magenta
und Gelb. Die abgeschalteten Doppeldruckwerke 35, 37, 39, 41 können für einen
Produktionswechsel mit anderen Druckformen belegt werden. When changing production, the
Nachfolgend sollen Antriebsvarianten für die Doppeldruckwerke sowie
Wegstellmöglichkeiten für deren Übertragungszylinder genannt werden. Fig. 5
51 in Druckwerkseitenwänden 52, 53 gelagert. Dabei werden die Zapfen 48, 49
des Übertragungszylinders 17 von jeweils zwei Exzenterbuchsen 54 bis 57
aufgenommen. Jeweils zwei Exzenterbuchsen 54, 55 bzw.
Exzenterbuchsen 54, 55 bzw. 56, 57 eine etwa lineare, weite Verstellung des
Übertragungszylinders 17 ermöglichen läßt. Die Abstellung soll weit weg vom
Übertragungszylinder 18 und weniger weit weg vom Formzylinder 15 erfolgen. The following are drive variants for the double printing units as well

nachfolgend beschriebenen Figur 6). Die Zapfen 50, 51 des
Übertragungszylinders 18 sind gleichermaßen in Exzenterbuchsen 54.1 bis 57.1
gelagert, wodurch dieser Zylinder 18 eine gleichartige Wegstellmöglichkeit
bezüglich des Übertragungszylinders 17 und des Formzylinders 16 hat.For this purpose, the storage direction is approximately perpendicular to the connecting line of the middle of the
The
deren Beabstandung.Each
Jedes Druckwerk 13.1, 14.1, 13.2, 14.2
enthält einen Formzylinder 15.1, 16.1, 15.2, 16.2 und einen Übertragungszylinder
17.1, 18.1, 17.2, 18.2. Die Übertragungszylinder 17.1, 18.1 bzw. 17.2, 18.2 jedes
Doppeldruckwerkes 70, 71 sind gegeneinander anstellbar, wodurch eine zwischen
ihnen hindurchgeführte Bahn 72 beidseitig bedruckbar ist.Fig. 6 shows a printing unit in which 2
The transfer cylinders 17.1, 18.1 and 17.2, 18.2 of the
15.1, 16.1.For the superimposed
The printing units 13.1 and 14.1 have their own drives. The forme cylinder 15.1

106 angetrieben. Die Übertragungszylinder 17.3, 18.3 sind mit ihren Zapfen 48,
50 jeweils mittels zweier Exzenterbuchsen 54, 55 bzw. 54.1, 55.1 in der
Druckwerkseitenwand 53 gelagert.
Fig. 8 in Bereitstellungsposition für den Wechsel dargestellt. Nach dem
Abschalten der Elektromotoren 103 bis 106 und Abrücken der
Übertragungszylinder 17.3, 18.3 in die Abstellpositionen durch Betätigung der
Exzenterbuchsen 54, 55, 54.1, 55.1 ist an den Form- und Übertragungszylindern
15.3 bis 18.3 der Hülsenwechsel möglich.Fig. 8 shows a
Gummituchwaschen anzutreiben.The
In addition to the braking, acceleration and drive function, the motors also have the task of driving the printing units to change the plates or to wash the inking unit and blanket.
indirekten Tiefdruck. Farb- und ggf. Feuchtwerke wurden der Einfachheit halber
nicht dargestellt.The
