Description

The invention relates to a method for automatically attaching bags according to the preamble of claim 1 and an apparatus therefor. This relates in particular to the gripping and opening of open sacks, preferably those made from air-permeable materials, in order to hang them on a sack support and then fill them.
It is known per se to automatically grip and open sacks in order to subsequently also automatically attach and fill them on a sack nozzle. For example, EP-B-293615 describes a device for filling and closing paper gusseted bags. Here, individual bags of suction cups are removed from a package and moved between suction strips. These suction strips are then moved apart as far as they will go. By means of the suction strips, the sack is opened to such an extent that swiveling external grippers can press the outer folds against the counter-holder.
The pre-opened sack is then moved by means of a slide into a filling station under a stationary filling funnel and then gripped by swiveling grippers. During the filling process, the carriage can move back to pick up a new bag.
Wiederum mit Sauggreifern wird einA similar solution for an automatic bag attachment is described in EP-A-522110. Again with suction cups is a
Sack removed from the stack, pre-opened, gripped by sack opening claws, opened and at the same time guided to a sack nozzle by a double lever system and automatically clamped. The sack to be opened is actually pulled over the knee in order to achieve a suitable deformation and opening of the sack. Such solutions with suction pads are only suitable for bags made of air-impermeable materials. They also require additional energy expenditure.
Mechanical grippers for such handling operations are technically complicated and prone to failure as well as expensive.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a method and a device for automatically attaching sacks, which allows sacks of various materials to be gripped and opened with simple means and in a functionally reliable manner in order to attach them to a sack spout.
This problem is solved with the features of the characterizing part of the claim.
The invention is based on known εich ways to create adhesive connections, such means instead of suction pads u. Like. Are used. Temporary adhesive connections are made between the bag and the gripping element for gripping and opening, in particular air-permeable and open, empty sacks. This allows the gripping elements to be detached from the sack material without any problems after the open sack has been attached and clamped on the sack spout, with the sack material being scarcely or not at all damaged by the choice of suitable pulling movements or speeds.
Particularly suitable on the tool side are self-renewing traps such as hot glue, glue sticks and roller glue and the like. Like. And possibly also Velcro.
For the application of glue or adhesive, several variants can be used, both with regard to the application itself and also with regard to tearing off the gripping device from the adhesive or sack material. In addition to paper and plastic films, sack materials are primarily woven plastics, cotton and jute fabrics, among others
Inεbeεondere entfällt eine Pneumatik. The advantage of the solution according to the invention is above all that, in contrast to suction pads, a wide variety of and also woven air-permeable sack materials can be handled and the gripping elements themselves can be designed more easily. In particular, pneumatics are omitted.
Magazin denkbar, z.B. gemäεε DE-A-4116311 , EP-A-522110 oder WO 95/09765.Various variants of picking up and fixing the sacks of a stack or magazine, which are known per se, are conceivable, e.g. according to DE-A-4116311, EP-A-522110 or WO 95/09765.
The solution according to the invention is described in more detail below in an exemplary embodiment with the aid of a drawing.
In der Zeichnung zeigen dieIn the drawing they show
Fig. 1 shows a principle solution of the inventive solution Fig. 2 shows a possible embodiment of parts of the gripping device.
The device for automatically attaching sacks consists of a gripping device 1 with a gripping pin 2. Depending on the position of the empty sacks 3, the gripping device 1 can carry out any appending movement on a sack nozzle 4 by means of handling elements known per se. B. is described in EP-A-522110. In a known manner, the sack nozzle 4 is provided with sack clamps 5.
Durch leichte Bauweise iεt ein hohes Leiεtungsvermögen gegeben.Due to the light construction, a high performance is given.
The gripping pins 2 ε are equipped with self-sealing adhesive points 6. In the specific case, these are hot-melt points with only less adhesion to the gripping pins 2 than to the material of the sack. In operation, the device according to the invention can be described as follows:
An empty sack 3 is removed in a lying position by means of a pair of gripping pins 2 from a magazine (not shown in detail). Both gripping pins are provided with hot-melt points as detent points 6. When the sack 3 is gripped, the sack material sticks to the adhesion points 6 and by simply moving the gripping pins 2 apart, the sack 3 is opened to such an extent that, after a corresponding movement, it is attached to the sack nozzle 4 and fastened by means of sack clamps 5. The sack 3 is preferably standing with its bottom on a conveyor belt or the like.
These gripping pins 2 can act on the latter both simultaneously and in succession to grasp and open the sack 3.
After the sack 3 has been clamped to the sack spout 4, the hot-melt points tear away from them by opening the gripping pins 2 and remain on the sack material. The bag 3 is then filled in the usual way and then closed. It would also be harmless to tear off the hot-melt points from the sack material, but in this case the grip points 6 of the gripping pins would have to be cleaned in each case.
The hot-melt points are applied as self-renewing adhesive spots 6 by means of conventional application devices (e.g. nozzle application) before gripping a sack 3 or are arranged inside the gripping pins 2 in a feed and heating device. The gripping pin 2 can optionally also include cooling in order to achieve a rapid cooling of the hot melt points.
According to another variant, the gripping pin 2 can consist of a reversible adhesive stamp 21, which is guided in a, also reversible, push-off sleeve 22. The adhesive point for the adhesion point 6 is applied by means of a nozzle 23, with rapid cooling. It is also possible to feed the adhesive through a hole in the adhesive stamp 21, which is more reliable but technically more complex. As described, the adhesive stamp 21 adheres to the bag 1 via the adhesive point 6 and can be separated from the bag 1 by means of the reversible push-off sleeve 22.
In a further variant, the gripping pins 2 could also remain on the clamped sack 3 in order to guide the filled sack 3 after it has been released from the sack spout 4 on a conveyor belt into a closing station.
Further variants for the execution of the adhesion points 6 are feed-controlled adhesive sticks or adhesive rolls or also on Velcro strips which are known per se. However, the latter tend to become dirty and cannot be used for all materials.
In various ways known per se, the sack 3 or the entire sack stack 7 can be fixed in its position in order to achieve a safe separation, opening and movement of the sack 1. This can be done by means of a counterholder to an upper gripping pin 2 ', or also by means of fixing the sack stack laterally in front of the removal point 8. Technically, this can be done by means of a fold-down holder.
