This spacing then increases the outside diameter of the male connection device until it reaches the appropriate diameter to hold the device in the cigarette lighter socket.
- the adaptation of the male connection device to the diameter of the cigarette lighter socket therefore results from a longitudinal sliding movement of a sleeve of said device relative to the other, this movement being in the extension of the insertion movements and extraction of said device.
- This male connection device has at least one major drawback. In fact, each time the said device is inserted / removed, the spacing of the retaining tab can be modified. Consequently, the adaptation of the diameter of said male connection device to the diameter of the socket must be carried out with each new connection.
- An object of the present invention is to remedy this drawback to a large extent and to provide a male connection device making it possible to connect an electrical or electronic device to a socket, in particular of the cigarette lighter type, in a reliable manner, such so that the diameter of said device can be adapted beforehand to the diameter of the socket.
- This rotary spacing device has the advantage of being adjustable beforehand to the diameter of the socket to avoid the user having to make this adjustment with each new connection.
- a blocking device of the rotary spacer device for blocking the rotation of one sleeve relative to the other.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a male connection device less sensitive to possible imbalances caused by multiple insertions / extractions.
