    1. Method for packaging articles and/or objects in a packaging device,

      characterized in that the packaging material (26, 58, 69, 70) is fed continuously as a foil length or as a foil sleeve, and that the packaging material (26, 58, 69, 70) is brought by at least one mechanical means (4, 5) to an airtight or approximately airtight closure with an all-round edge of at least one opening of the receptacle (23, 52, 71, 72).

    7. Method according to claim 6, characterized in that the sleeve portion (26a) is placed in expanded state with its open end (30) contacting the all-round edge of the opening of the receptacle (23) and/or overlapping the all-round edge of the opening (31) of the receptacle (23).

      and the elastic monoplane foil (58) is separated from the monoplane foil fed by the dispenser roll (49a).

      and the lateral edges of one monoplane foil respectively are firmly connected with the lateral edges of the at least one other monoplane foil to form a sleeve.

Method according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a partial vacuum is generated between the receptacle (1, 23, 52, 71, 72) and the elastic packaging material (26, 58, 69, 70) in such a way that the packaging material (26, 58, 69, 70) clings at least partially to the at least one wall of the receptacle (1, 23, 52, 71, 72).
    28. Method according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a partial vacuum is generated between the receptacle (1, 23, 52, 71, 72) and the elastic packaging material (26, 58, 69, 70) in such a way that the elastic packaging material (26, 58, 69, 70) is expanded to such an extent that a clearance remains between the at least one receptacle and the elastic packaging material (26, 58, 69, 70).

    35. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the packaging material is heated during or after the release of the partial vacuum.

    38. Device according to claim 36, characterized in that means (106) for controlling and/or releasing the partial vacuum are provided.

    52. Device according to claim 50, characterized in that the internal receptacle wall (37) is configured replaceably.
    53. Device according to claim 36, characterized in that the feed opening for the sleeve (26) has a slot-shaped configuration in the direction of sleeve feed.
