Ein erfindungsgemäßes Transportelement weist bevorzugt einen Rahmen auf, der mit zumindest einem Radstützelement verbindbar ist, und an einem in zumindest zwei Richtungen bewegbaren Fahrwerk angeordnet ist. Aus der Kombination der beiden Richtungen läßt sich dann jede beliebige Bewegung des Transportelementes und des Transportmittels zusammensetzen. In einer weiteren Ausführung ist vorgesehen, daß das Fahrwerk auch auf zumindest einem Kreisbogen bewegbar ist, sodaß das Transportmittel beispielsweise um 90° verdreht werden kann. Weiters ist es von Vorteil wenn das Fahrwerk zumindest zwei jeweils um zumindest 90° schwenkbare Räder aufweist. Bevorzugt besteht das Fahrwerk aus vier zumindest um 90° schwenkbare Räder. Das Fahrwerk ist insbesondere elektrisch angetrieben, und kann hiefür mit vorzugsweise austauschbaren Akkumulatoren bestückt sein. Bevorzugt sind zumindest zwei schwenkbare Räder angetrieben, wobei für den Antrieb Einzelmotoren oder auch ein gemeinsamer Antriebsmotor vorgesehen sein kann. Ein Gebäude 1 für die Unterbringung von Kraftfahrzeugen, insbesondere eine

sind weder Säulen noch Trennwände vorgesehen, sodaß die Größe jedes
Stellplatzes 2 jeweils dem dort abgestellten Kraftfahrzeug angepaßt ist. Wie ersichtlich
ergeben sich verschieden breite Abstellspuren, wenn verschieden breite Fahrzeuge
abgestellt werden, und die Anzahl der Stellplätze in der Länge der Stellfläche ist
ebenfalls variabel. Länge und Breite der Stellfläche sind so gewählt, daß eine
möglichst variable Aufteilung ohne größere Platzverluste möglich ist. Die in Fig. 1
gezeigte Stellfläche hat beispielsweise eine Länge von 22,5 m und eine Breite von 8
m. Die Kraftfahrzeuge 6 sind unabhängig von ihrer Größe nahezu dicht aneinander
abgestellt, wobei insbesondere in der Länge ein Sicherheitsabstand von maximal 10
cm eingehalten ist. Mit 5 ist eine Übernahme- bzw. Abgabestation, oder im bevorzugten
Fall eines Gebäudes mit mehreren Ebenen ein Lift bezeichnet. Um bei der
gezeigten dichten Anordnung der Kraftfahrzeuge 6 einen möglichst raschen Zugriff zu
jedem abgestellten Kraftfahrzeug 6 zu erreichen, bzw. um ein neu ankommendes
Kraftfahrzeug 6 auch auf einen nicht direkt zugänglichen Stellplatz 2 transportieren zu
können, muß die Transporteinrichtung Transportmittel aufweisen, deren Transportelemente
auch unterhalb der abgestellten Kraftfahrzeuge 6 sich möglichst nach allen
Richtungen bewegen können und am jeweiligen Stellplatz 2 in der Lage sind, das
Kraftfahrzeug 6 aufzuladen bzw. abzuladen.A
Zu diesem Zweck setzt sich ein Transportmittel aus zumindest einem
Transportelement 3 und zumindest zwei vom Transportelement 3 abtrennbaren
Auflageelementen für die Räder des Kraftfahrzeuges 6 zusammen. Bevorzugt sind pro
Fahrzeugachse ein Transportelement 3 und zwei trennbare Radstützelemente 4
vorgesehen, das heißt jeder übliche Personenkraftwagen 6 wird von zwei einzelnen,
unabhängigen Transportelementen 3 transportiert, an denen vier einzelne
Radstützelemente 4 vorgesehen sind, auf denen das auf dem Stellplatz 2 abgestellte
Fahrzeug verbleibt. Die leeren Transportelemente 3 sind daher so kurz und so schmal,
daß sie sich unter den abgestellten Fahrzeugen 6 bewegen und auch ein ein Fahrzeug
6 transportierendes Transportmittel kreuzen können, wie in Fig. 1 gezeigt ist. Die
Transportelemente 3 sind insbesondere gleislos, um auch innerhalb der Stellfläche
quer verfahren zu können, und ferngesteuert bzw. autark bewegbar, wobei entsprechende
Sensoren Hindernisse erkennen und die Transportelemente steuern.
Jedoch ist die Mobilität der Transportelemente 3 nur unwesentlich geringer, wenn sie
spurgebunden sind, da auch in diesem Fall sowohl Quer- als auch Längsbewegungen
des von den Radstützelementen 4 befreiten Transportelementes 3 möglich sind, wenn

Rahmen 30, in dem Führungsstangen 26 und hydraulische Ausschubeinheiten 28,29

Übernahmestation gebracht, so werden die Radstützelemente 4 auf vom Boden
hochstehende Blöcke 43 abgesenkt, sodaß die Bodenplatte 42 angehoben und die
Auflagemulde 41 jedes Radstützelementes 4 ausgeglichen wird (Fig. 4).
Eine bevorzugte Ausführung eines Transportelementes 3 ist im Detail in den Fig. 5 bis
8 dargestellt. Es umfaßt ein Fahrwerk 8, in dem vier Räder 7 vorgesehen sind. Jedes
Rad 7 ist auf einem Lagerblock 10 drehbar gelagert, der mittels Lager 45 um eine
vertikale Achse drehbar in einem Radgehäuse 9 angeordnet ist, das im Fahrwerk 8
befestigt ist. Der Lagerblock 10 trägt an der Oberseite Rollen 17, die einen Ring 11
drehbar lagern, der eine Innenverzahnung 12 und eine Außenverzahnung 16 aufweist.
In die Innenverzahnung 12 greift ein Zwischenzahnrad 13 ein, das mit einem
Kegelzahnrad 14 verbunden ist. Dieses kämmt mit einem Kegelzahnrad 15, das am
Rad bzw. der Laufrolle 7 fixiert ist. In die Außenverzahnung des Ringes 11 greift ein
Ritzel 18 des Fahrantriebes ein, der beispielsweise einen gemeinsamen Antriebsmotor
20 und ein alle Ritzel 18 verbindendes Zugmittelgetriebe 19 umfaßt. Die Räder 7 sind
mittels eines Schwenkantriebes schwenkbar, der einen doppelwirkenden Hydraulikzylinder
23 mit beidseitigen Kolbenstangen 22, sowie Lenker 24 und Koppelstäbe 25
aufweist. Die Lenker 24 und die Koppelstäbe 25 sind an über den Ring 17 hochstehenden
Lenkzapfen 21 angelenkt, die am drehbar gelagerten Lagerblock 10 des
