Claims (13)
- Snap-fitting device for connecting a window pane (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) to a window lifter by using at least one pair of elastically expanding jaws (31, 32) which are connected to the mechanics of the window lifter, wherein at least one of the jaws has at least one snap element (30, 30') pointing towards the window pane and in the form of a hook or pin or the like which is associated with a hole (10, 13) in the pane and whose circumference in the engaged state of the window pane fills up at least over a part of its width the hole in the pane and wherein an insert device is provided for expanding the jaws when inserting the window pane into the snap-fitting device, characterised in that the surfaces of the expanding jaws (31, 32) facing the window pane (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) are formed convex and form in their base area (33) an expansion (35) with a width greater than the thickness of the pane in which the free lower end of the window pane (1, 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) can swivel.
- Device according to claim 1 characterised in that the insert device (110a, 110c, 120a, 302, 303; 4, 40) for spreading out the jaws (31, 32) is a part of the window pane (1, 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) and/or a part of the snap-in device.
- Device according to claim 1 or 2 characterised in that the insert device consists of a bevel (22, 110c, 110d) or the like provided on the lower edge of the window pane (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) and whose incline direction agrees with the incline direction of an insert cone (302) of the snap-in element (30) wherein the width (B) of the insert cone (302) is at most half as large as the thickness of the window pane (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e).
- Device according to claim 3 characterised in that the area (301) adjoining the insert cone (302) with stop faces (310) running substantially orthogonal to the displacement direction of the window pane (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) has approximately such a width which corresponds to the thickness of the window pane (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) between the lower end of the bevel complementary with the insert cone (302) and the side of the window pane (1a, 1c, 1d, 1e) which stops against the snap-fit jaws.
- Device according to claim 3 characterised in that the bevel is formed on the lower edge of the pane by two panes (11a, 12a, 11d, 12d, 11e, 12e) which are off-set by a step and connected together.
- Device according to claim 5 characterised in that each of the two connected panes (11a, 12a, 11d, 12d, 11e, 12e) supports a bevel.
- Device according to claim 3 characterised in that an insert wedge (2) is stuck in the fastening area on the lower edge (110b) of the pane.
- Device according to claim 3 characterised in that the window pane (1d) consists of one glass pane (12d) and one plastics pane (11d) wherein the lower edge of the plastics pane (11d) projects over the glass pane (12d) and forms a common wedge-shaped closure.
- Device according to claim 1 or 2 characterised in that the insert device consists of an expanding element (4) which is connected to the upper free end of the jaw (32) of the device (entrainment member 3), which supports the snap-in element (30), and that a second hole (13) is provided in the pane into which the expanding element (4) engages at the end of the assembly process.
- Device according to claim 9 characterised in that the length (L) of the expanding element corresponds to the thickness of the window pane (1) and that the snap-in element (30) supports a short insert cone (302) which extends at most over half the thickness of the pane.
- Device according to claim 9 characterised in that the length (L) of the expanding element (4) is greater than the thickness of the window pane (1) and that the snap-in element (30) supports at its free end only a narrow insert bevel which extends at most over a quarter of the thickness of the pane.
- Device according to one of the preceding claims 9 to 11 characterised in that the distance (A1) of the first pane hole (10) from the lower edge (100) of the pane is greater than the internal distance (A2) between the snap-in element (30) and the expanding element (4) if the snap-in element (30) and the expanding element (4) lie one behind the other and the expanding element (4) could engage in the hole (10) in the pane associated with the snap-in element.
- Device according to at least one of the preceding claims characterised in that each fastening area (90) of the window pane has recesses (91) which are defined by side conical guide faces (92) for the entrainment member (3).
