Claims (10)

  1. Device for separating and lifting the uppermost sheet, particularly the uppermost sign panel, from a sheet pile with a sheet grasping device for timed grasping and lifting the uppermost sheet, as well as a stripping device acting on the rear edge of the uppermost sheet lifted by a given amount, which has a stripping element with a slide ramp which, via the rear edge of the uppermost sheet on its lifting up is movable against a spring force substantially horizontally from a rest position adjacent the sheet pile and projecting by a given amount over the sheet pile into a deflected position spaced from the sheet pile until the rear edge latches past the stripping element, characterised in that a carrier (1) in the upper rear side region is adjacent the sheet pile (2) under spring force, wherein on the carrier (1) the stripping element is guided movably between its rest position and deflected position, that the stripping element relative to the carrier (1) in its rest position is spring-loaded in the direction towards the sheet pile (2), and that the stripping element in its rest position projects past the abutment surface of the carrier (1) against the sheet pile (2) in the sheet feed direction (3) by a certain amount.
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the carrier (1) is constructed as a lever which at its one end is swivellable about a swivel axis substantially above the rear end region of the sheet pile (2) directed transverse to the sheet feed direction (3) and with its free other end is under spring force against the sheet pile (2).
  3. Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the stripping element is arranged movably in a guide recess (7) of the carrier (1) directed in the sheet feed direction (3) and open towards the sheet pile (2), from which it projects in its rest position by a given amount in the sheet feed direction (3).
  4. Device according to Claim 3, characterised in that the stripping element is subjected to a compression spring (13) arranged in the guide aperture (7) in the sheet feed direction (3).
  5. Device according to Claim 4, characterised in that the pretensioning of the compression spring (13) is adjustable.
  6. Device according to Claim 5, characterised in that the compression spring (13) with its end turned away from the stripping element is supported adjustably in the sheet feed direction (3) on an adjustment screw (12).
  7. Device according to Claim 4, characterised in that the compression spring (13) is a coil spring.
  8. Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the stripping element is a ball (11).
  9. Device according to Claim 8, characterised in that the ball (11) can project by about a third of its diameter in the feed direction (3) from the guide aperture (7).
  10. Device according to Claim 8, characterised in that at least the surface of the ball (11) is hardened.
