Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for self-acupuncture and massage.
- Acupressure is a healing method related to acupuncture.
- the massage of acupuncture points on the skin produces an irritant effect that affects organs and / or pain.
- Devices for self-acupuncture and self-acupressure consist essentially of flat bodies on which knobs or other elevations are applied.
- the irritant effects are determined either by the external shape of the elevations, their specific arrangement or by the materials used, e.g. magnetic materials.
- Such an acupressure mat is described for example in DE OS 34 04 528.
- the healing or prophylactic effects are to be achieved by knobs of different heights, which have rounded heads and are molded onto a plastic base plate.
- these devices Due to the rounded shape of the knobs, these devices are only suitable for a superficial treatment of the skin. Due to the low irritant effect of these devices, there is no depth effect.
- This type of stimulus element generally achieves a higher irritant effect, but targeted blood circulation to certain parts of the body to be treated is also not possible with these devices.
- this object is achieved by stimulus elements with three different stimulus strengths, which are distributed on a rectangular base unit.
- the individual stimulus elements on the base unit are arranged in such a way that the stimulus elements with the greatest stimulus strength are in the corners of the rectangle, those with medium stimulus strength in the adjoining edge and / or intermediate area, the C zone, and the stimulus elements with the least stimulus are in the center of the rectangle, the B zone.
- Four base units are connected to form a functional group at a distance from a common center, the A zone.
- the stimulus elements are pyramid-shaped.
- the stimulus elements with the lowest stimulus strength have the shape of a regular pyramid with a square base.
- the stimulus elements of medium stimulus strength like the stimulus elements of greatest stimulus strength, have the shape of an oblique tetrahedron.
- the base area of a stimulus element of medium stimulus strength corresponds to half the base area of a stimulus element with the lowest stimulus strength, while the base area of a stimulus element is largest Stimulus strength corresponds to a quarter of the base area of a stimulus element with the lowest stimulus strength.
- the stimulus elements are designed in the form of a cone.
- the base areas of the individual stimulus elements with different stimulus strengths then have the shape of a quarter circle, a semicircle or a full circle.
- the base units can be made of a metallic or a non-metallic material. To avoid disturbing electromagnetic field influences, they preferably consist of a plastic.
- the auto acupuncture massager consists of several basic units, four of which are combined to form a functional group.
- the individual base units are applied, for example glued, to a flat structure of an appropriate size, which can be formed from an non-rigid material or a rigid material.
- the base units and the carrier material are expediently made of hygienically easy-care material.
- the application of the auto-acupuncture and massage device according to the invention is carried out by laying on the body part to be treated or by placing it on the body part to be treated and pressing it on by hand or by an elastic bandage.
- the basic principle of the effect of the auto-acupuncture and massage device is that due to the arrangement according to the invention of the groups of stimulus elements with different levels of irritation, there is differentiated blood flow to the treated body part. Not only does the combination of the individual base units lead to the desired effect, but also each individual base unit actively and independently causes blood to circulate from A to B to C and back to A.
- the special mode of operation of the device is as follows:
- the arrangement of the stimulus elements according to the invention excites the blood present most strongly at the point of contact of the stimulus elements with the greatest stimulus strength in the body. Because of this different irritation, the blood pressure in it initially increases Zone of strongest irritation, so that the blood circulation in this zone, especially from blood from lower body areas, is particularly intense. This in turn leads to a blood pressure gradient between the zones of different irritation, so that blood flows out of the stronger irritation zone to the zones of less irritation. In other words, the blood is led to the stimulus elements with the lowest stimulus strength, the C zone, via the gradient of stimulus intensity across areas A, B.
- each C zone receives an additional blood supply from the four A zones of the functional groups adjacent to this functional unit, since the circulation is most strongly stimulated in this free space due to the special arrangement of the stimulus elements with the greatest stimulus intensity.
- This creates twice as much blood in the C zone than in the A zone.
- the blood pressure in the C zone increases compared to the A zone.
- This leads to blood flowing out of the C zone into the A zone.
- the blood flowing back meets the blood coming from the depth and leads to an acceleration of the entire activation process.
- the process starts from the beginning, so that a strong, deep, multicentre blood circulation arises, which has both a scattering and a dynamic effect.
- Another embodiment of the device for auto-acupuncture and massage for other focal points consists of basic units, in which nine conical Stimulus elements are arranged on the same base area as described in the first embodiment.
- the base unit with the same base area as described in the first embodiment consists of several groups of four stimulus elements, the shape of which corresponds to the stimulus elements with the greatest stimulus strength in the first embodiment.
- groups of stimulus elements of the same stimulus strength can be formed on a base unit, whereby a targeted increase in blood circulation is brought about via the groups with the stimulus elements of the greatest stimulus strength, via the groups of stimulus elements of medium stimulus strength to the groups of the lowest stimulus strength and back in an intensified gradient of stimulus strength as previously described for the individual stimulus elements.
- a particularly advantageous variant of the auto-acupuncture and massage device according to the invention also consists in the design of a base unit with groups of different stimulus strengths, each of which is combined from more than one stimulus element of one stimulus strength with one stimulus element of greater and / or less stimulus strength, four of which in turn form a functional unit.
- the base unit 1 is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 with the pyramid-shaped stimulus elements located thereon.
- the stimulus elements 2 with the greatest stimulus strength are arranged at the four corners of a square base unit 1.
- the stimulus elements 3 with the medium stimulus strength and in the center the stimulus elements 4 with the lowest stimulus strength are arranged around the C zone.
- FIG. 3 shows the functional group 5 consisting of four base units 1 and the flow of blood circulation from A to B to C and back.
- the stimulus elements 2, 3 and 4 on the base units 1 are only indicated in points.
- the special arrangement of the stimulus elements 2 with the greatest stimulus strength results in a greater irritation of this part of the body in the free space between the base units 1, the A zone .
- the blood that is increasingly present at this point is directed through the gradient of stimulus intensity between the stimulus elements 2, 3, the B zone, and 4 into the area between the stimulus elements 4, the C zone.
- Each of these C-zones receives blood supply from the four A-zones of the neighboring functional groups 5. This creates twice as much blood in the C-zone than in the A-zone.
- FIG. 4 shows in a vertical section how the base units 1 combined to form functional groups 5 are applied to the carrier material 6.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for self-acupuncture and massage.
Methods of classic needle acupuncture are known, in which a cure or prophylaxis is sought with the help of the so-called multipuncture. For this purpose, a point of stimulation is acted on with the aid of a large number of needles, thereby influencing the organism.
Acupressure is a healing method related to acupuncture. In this method, the massage of acupuncture points on the skin produces an irritant effect that affects organs and / or pain.
Devices for self-acupuncture and self-acupressure are already known. These consist essentially of flat bodies on which knobs or other elevations are applied. The irritant effects are determined either by the external shape of the elevations, their specific arrangement or by the materials used, e.g. magnetic materials.
Such an acupressure mat is described for example in DE OS 34 04 528. The healing or prophylactic effects are to be achieved by knobs of different heights, which have rounded heads and are molded onto a plastic base plate.
Similar proposals based on rounded nubs are contained in DE OS 38 19 859 and 42 40 952.
Due to the rounded shape of the knobs, these devices are only suitable for a superficial treatment of the skin. Due to the low irritant effect of these devices, there is no depth effect.
Arrangements for acupressure therapy have also already been proposed, in which pyramid-shaped acupressure elements with a hexagonal or round base are used. Such pyramid-shaped stimulus elements applied to mats in a specific order are described in DE OS 43 21 471 and in DE GM 93 01 940.
This type of stimulus element generally achieves a higher irritant effect, but targeted blood circulation to certain parts of the body to be treated is also not possible with these devices.
It is characteristic of all these known multipuncture and acupressure techniques that either only a superficial or an undifferentiated, non-directional increase in the blood flow to the skin is achieved with them.
It is therefore an object of the invention to increase the blood flow through a targeted direction To achieve blood circulation and at the same time deep skin circulation with a scattering and dynamic effect and thus increase metabolic activation.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by stimulus elements with three different stimulus strengths, which are distributed on a rectangular base unit. For this purpose, the individual stimulus elements on the base unit are arranged in such a way that the stimulus elements with the greatest stimulus strength are in the corners of the rectangle, those with medium stimulus strength in the adjoining edge and / or intermediate area, the C zone, and the stimulus elements with the least stimulus are in the center of the rectangle, the B zone. Four base units are connected to form a functional group at a distance from a common center, the A zone.
In a preferred embodiment variant, the stimulus elements are pyramid-shaped. The stimulus elements with the lowest stimulus strength have the shape of a regular pyramid with a square base. The stimulus elements of medium stimulus strength, like the stimulus elements of greatest stimulus strength, have the shape of an oblique tetrahedron. The base area of a stimulus element of medium stimulus strength corresponds to half the base area of a stimulus element with the lowest stimulus strength, while the base area of a stimulus element is largest Stimulus strength corresponds to a quarter of the base area of a stimulus element with the lowest stimulus strength.
In another embodiment variant, the stimulus elements are designed in the form of a cone. The base areas of the individual stimulus elements with different stimulus strengths then have the shape of a quarter circle, a semicircle or a full circle.
The base units can be made of a metallic or a non-metallic material. To avoid disturbing electromagnetic field influences, they preferably consist of a plastic.
The auto acupuncture massager consists of several basic units, four of which are combined to form a functional group. Preferably 100 to 120 base units, which form 25 to 30 functional groups, are combined to form one device. For this purpose, the individual base units are applied, for example glued, to a flat structure of an appropriate size, which can be formed from an non-rigid material or a rigid material. However, it is also possible to combine individual base units into functional groups, to insert them in a plastic film layer and to fasten them in a suitable manner on the rigid or non-rigid carrier material.
The base units and the carrier material are expediently made of hygienically easy-care material.
The application of the auto-acupuncture and massage device according to the invention is carried out by laying on the body part to be treated or by placing it on the body part to be treated and pressing it on by hand or by an elastic bandage.
The basic principle of the effect of the auto-acupuncture and massage device is that due to the arrangement according to the invention of the groups of stimulus elements with different levels of irritation, there is differentiated blood flow to the treated body part. Not only does the combination of the individual base units lead to the desired effect, but also each individual base unit actively and independently causes blood to circulate from A to B to C and back to A.
The special mode of operation of the device is as follows:
The arrangement of the stimulus elements according to the invention excites the blood present most strongly at the point of contact of the stimulus elements with the greatest stimulus strength in the body. In addition, each C zone receives an additional blood supply from the four A zones of the functional groups adjacent to this functional unit, since the circulation is most strongly stimulated in this free space due to the special arrangement of the stimulus elements with the greatest stimulus intensity. This creates twice as much blood in the C zone than in the A zone. As a result, the blood pressure in the C zone increases compared to the A zone. This in turn leads to blood flowing out of the C zone into the A zone. In the A-zone, the blood flowing back meets the blood coming from the depth and leads to an acceleration of the entire activation process. At the same time, here in the A-zone the process starts from the beginning, so that a strong, deep, multicentre blood circulation arises, which has both a scattering and a dynamic effect.
Another embodiment of the device for auto-acupuncture and massage for other focal points consists of basic units, in which nine conical Stimulus elements are arranged on the same base area as described in the first embodiment.
In a third embodiment, the base unit with the same base area as described in the first embodiment consists of several groups of four stimulus elements, the shape of which corresponds to the stimulus elements with the greatest stimulus strength in the first embodiment.
Finally, groups of stimulus elements of the same stimulus strength can be formed on a base unit, whereby a targeted increase in blood circulation is brought about via the groups with the stimulus elements of the greatest stimulus strength, via the groups of stimulus elements of medium stimulus strength to the groups of the lowest stimulus strength and back in an intensified gradient of stimulus strength as previously described for the individual stimulus elements.
A particularly advantageous variant of the auto-acupuncture and massage device according to the invention also consists in the design of a base unit with groups of different stimulus strengths, each of which is combined from more than one stimulus element of one stimulus strength with one stimulus element of greater and / or less stimulus strength, four of which in turn form a functional unit.

The
When the device for auto-acupuncture and massage, the applicator according to the invention, is used, the special arrangement of the
