Description

The invention relates to a pressure lever valve for continuous pressure fire extinguishers according to the preamble of claim 1.

Continuous pressure fire extinguishers consist of a container that holds the absorbs powdered extinguishing agents and by means of compressed Nitrogen is pressurized. To apply the extinguishing agent serves a riser pipe arranged in the container. On a valve is screwed to the neck of the container, to which the riser pipe is also screwed on. The valve has one Valve bore on which the riser pipe with a Connected valve body connecting port connects. In the Valve bore a valve tappet is axially displaceable, which opens or closes the valve bore and accordingly the passage between the riser pipe and the connection opening releases or closes. The valve lifter is spring loaded held in the closed position. By means of one on the valve body stored pressure lever, the valve tappet against the Spring force are brought into the open position. To the A nozzle is attached to the connection opening in order to use the Fire extinguisher with the valve open, the extinguishing agent under pressure to apply over the riser pipe and the connection opening. As well becomes the connection opening during filling and maintenance used to introduce the nitrogen gas under pressure into the container.

To check the operational readiness of the fire extinguisher , it is necessary to monitor the pressure in the container. A pressure gauge attached to the valve is used for this, which is connected to the inside of the container via a pressure hole stands. The valve also has a test socket, which also has a pressure hole in the inside of the container Connection is established. The test socket is used to connect an external one Pressure tester during maintenance of the fire extinguisher. The Test nozzle can also be equipped with a rupture disc device equipped as a protection against overpressure in the container his.

With the known valves (e.g. brochure 01/87 from CÉO-DEUX, Lintgen, Luxembourg and Ediz prospectus. 2/1989 from CPF Industriale, Gussago, Italy) consists of the valve body Brass. A threaded connector is used to connect the manometer of the valve body to which the manometer is screwed. The screw connection of the manometer with the valve body is a possible leak that can lead to pressure losses. The screwed-on manometer increases the overall dimensions of the Valve.

The invention has for its object a pressure lever valve to improve the genus mentioned so that its function becomes more reliable and the construction dimensions are reduced.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a pressure lever valve with the features of claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are in the subclaims specified.

With the invention it was possible to turn the manometer out Integrate brass existing valve body. This is the in the known valve by screwing on the manometer conditional leakage switched off and the pressure in the The extinguisher container can last for a long period of time be kept reliable. By integrating the pressure gauge in the valve body is also a much more compact Design of the valve body reached. Because of this compact Design is possible with the same version of the valve optionally both a manually operated pressure lever and one Mount plastic cap.

Preferably, the manometer built into the valve body via a cross hole inside the valve body with the test socket connected. This can cause the internal pressure of the container via a single common pressure hole to both the manometer as well as to the test nozzle, so that the Valve is structurally simple. This pressure hole is expediently parallel and offset to the valve bore arranged and opens into the cross hole that the manometer with connects the test socket.

There is a window in front of the snap ring pressed into the recess 31 to the gear and the display to close.

On the side diametrically opposite the pressure gauge socket 30 a test socket 40 is integrally formed on the valve body 10. The test nozzle 40 has an external thread, by means of which an external thread Pressure test device for the maintenance of the fire extinguisher can be connected. If necessary, is in the test nozzle 40 also a rupture disc device as overpressure protection used.

A transverse bore 41 leads from the test nozzle 40 through the valve body 10 and opens into the bottom surface of the recess 31 of the Manometer socket 30. The transverse bore 41 is skewed the valve bore 20 in a perpendicular to the valve bore 20 Level and on the side opposite the connecting piece 21 the valve bore 20. Axially parallel to the valve bore 20 and offset against this is a pressure bore 42 in the valve body 10 trained. The pressure bore 42 opens out with its upper one End in the transverse bore 41, while its lower end in the area of the internal thread receiving the riser pipe. The internal thread has an axially parallel notch that the pressure hole 42 continues in alignment. Is the valve on the container screwed and the riser pipe into the internal thread of the valve body 10 screwed in, the pressure bore 42 is above the Notching of the internal thread with the internal pressure space of the container in connection. The internal pressure of the container is applied thus via the indentation of the internal thread, the pressure bore 42 and the transverse bore 41 the inside of the membrane disc of the in the manometer socket 30 used manometer. In the same The internal pressure of the container is above the transverse bore 41 on the test nozzle 40 for a possible check and applied the rupture disc safety device.
