Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Rohrteiles, insbesondere einer Krümmer-Rohrabzweigung (1) einer Kraftfahrzeug-Abgasanlage, wird vorgeschlagen, daß ein Blechcoil- oder Platine-Rohteil in einem Folgeverbundwerkzeug (4) tiefgezogen und beschnitten wird zwecks Ausbildung eines Rohrteil-Halbzeuges (5), welches der abgewickelten Form des Rohrteil-Endzeuges entspricht. Das Rohrteil-Halbzeug (5) wird in weiteren Verfahrensschritten im Folgeverbundwerkzeug (4) vorgebogen und gewickelt. Ein schließlich fertiggebogenes Wickelteil (6) wird in seinem zusammengebogenen mittleren Berührungsbereich (7) gasdicht verschweißt. Ein derartiges Wickelverfahren ermöglicht eine deutlich kostengünstigere Fertigung als eine Herstellung eines vergleichbaren Teils nach dem Innenhochdruckverfahren.

In a method for producing a pipe part, in particular a manifold pipe branch (1) of a motor vehicle exhaust system, it is proposed that a sheet metal coil or blank part be deep-drawn and trimmed in a progressive tool (4) to form a semi-finished pipe part (5 ), which corresponds to the developed form of the tubular part end product. The pipe part semi-finished product (5) is pre-bent and wound in further process steps in the progressive tool (4). A finally bent winding part (6) is welded gas-tight in its bent middle contact area (7). Such a winding process enables a significantly more cost-effective production than the production of a comparable part using the internal high-pressure process.
