Description

The invention relates to a protective cover for toilet seats, with a to be placed on the seat of a toilet seat elongated web made of a folded, thin and flexible Foil, which web has a folded edge, which at Unfold the web pivoted into a protruding position becomes.

A protective pad of this type is state of the art made known by the applicant's EP-B-0 331 631. The inventor has set himself the task of a protective pad to create this type that is even easier to use and is still safe for the user. The protective pad should still be inexpensive to manufacture and a small one Package can be foldable.

The task is according to the invention in a generic Protection pad solved in that the web at least two differently folded and when unfolded lengthways the railway has different exciting areas. The invention is based on the idea of optimal Tension of the protective pad when unfolding and in the applied Position by choosing the proportions different Adjust folding areas precisely. The inventor thus has recognized that for the handling of the protective pad Tension is very essential. On a train with only One type of folding gives the tension when unfolding and cannot be changed. By the invention it is now possible the optimal tension by appropriate choice the different folding areas in a wide range to be determined. It is therefore possible to create a protective pad create which has exactly the optimal tension. Avoidable is consequently too high a voltage, which at on the protective pad caused to loosen the adhesive points could. Too low is also avoidable Tension at which the protective pad when unfolding the Would sag and would be very difficult to hang up. Avoiding too high a voltage also has the essential Advantage that the web is flatter on the seat rests and therefore less material is required.

According to a development of the invention, at least one One cross fold area and the other area at least a simple, so-called fan fold. At this The main advantage is that the Protective pad a more compact and packaged has a smaller volume than a cross fold existing protective pad. An optimal tension can then according to a development of the invention achieve when there are simple folds and cross folds Alternate along the track. However, one is also conceivable Execution in areas with several neighboring ones Cross folds are provided. Become simple folds uses a path that is rectangular Form a band. This is in the manufacture and with regard on the application of a shell particularly advantageous and simple.

The production of the protective pad according to the invention is particularly cost-effective if it has a casing, which consists of two separately manufactured film parts. These film parts can, for example, be rectangular, punched out pieces of paper. A suitable shell can be found in simple way according to a development of the invention be made by a first part with the one and the other end of the track as well as one and the other Connected end of a second part, in particular glued is. The glued ends of the two parts can then form tabs that can be gripped by hand to tear open the cover along lines of weakness. The shell then only exists from two separately manufactured parts. Zwischen dem Rand 15 und dem Bereich 14 besteht ein Rand 16, der sich bogenförmig zwischen den Laschen 6 erstreckt und der wie in Figur 1 ersichtlich gefaltet ist.FIG. 1 shows a toilet bowl 2 with a seat 3, which has a seat 4 on which a protective pad 1 is on the hook. The protective pad 1 is at its ends with two tabs 6 each on the underside 6 have gluing points 19 shown on the seat 3 fixed. One extends between the two tabs 6 Lane 12, which has an upper seating area 14 and one of has this approximately 15 protruding edge 15. Between there is an edge 16 at the edge 15 and the area 14, which extends in an arc between the tabs 6 and which is folded as shown in Figure 1.

An exemplary folding can be seen in particular in FIG. 1 and 3 are removed. It is essential that the folding different areas with different voltages having. One area is shown in the embodiment formed by a simple fold 17. This exists from a fold line 17a of area 14 and one Fold line 17b in edge 15. Both fold lines 17a and 17b lie with the packaged protective pad parallel and adjacent to each other. This folding 17 exercises when unfolding the Lane 12 only a low tension. A comparative one high voltage is caused by a so-called Cross fold 18 exercised, each two fold lines 18a and 18b and in the region of the edge 16 arranged approximately square Form fold lines 18c. This comparatively complicated Folding essentially has the effect that when unfolding the web 12, the edge 15 protrudes into the Location is pivoted. When pulling apart the tabs 6 Thus, the edge 15 automatically pivots into the desired one protruding position. A web 12 of only such folds 18 would, however, have a comparatively high total voltage generate and comparatively in the position shown in Figure 1 exert high tensile forces on the tabs 6. With an increase in the proportion of simple folds 17 can thus the tension can be reduced. The tension is for example, depending on the type of paper used. It is preferred to use tissue paper that is dissolves in water comparatively quickly and as a recycling product can be manufactured. In practice it has it has been shown that with such a paper an optimal Voltage is reached when, according to FIG. 3, the proportions of the two folds are approximately the same. Interesting is also the possibility now given, the tension along the Train 12 differently.

The web 12 is unfolded by the tabs 6 according to FIG 2 gripped by hand and pulled apart in the direction of arrows 20 become. Here we along a shell 21 two perforation lines 7 separated into two equal parts. These two parts 5a and 5b are each fixed to one End 13 of the web 12 connected, in particular glued. To cutting the perforation lines 7 becomes the web 12 unfolded by pulling apart the tabs 6, the Edge 15 is automatically pivoted into the projecting position and finally the unfolded protective pad on the seat 3 can be placed. To fix the edition 1 the straps 6 are pressed with their underside onto the seat surface 4, where they stick with the glue points 19.

According to FIGS. 4 to 6, the casing 21 consists only of two individually manufactured stamped parts 8 and 9, each with a continuous perforation line 7 in the middle have. One part 8 is on one side with one Adhesive surface 10 provided in the area of the perforation line 7, as can be seen, is cut out in strips. The other part 9 has four punched-outs 11, but none Adhesive surface. Figure 5 shows schematically the folded Lane 12, on the two parts to form the shell 21 8 and 9 are applied. The adhesive surface connects here 10 with the two ends 13 of the web 12 and with the punched-out ends of part 9. FIG. 6 shows the finished protective pad, here only the tabs 6 can be pivoted inwards to the system.
