Abstract

The cooling and heating element (Ke) is closed off to the room by a porous ceiling layer (Ds) which can be passed by a first input air flow (Zs1) directed into the room (Ra) and divided into a number of part flows. The ceiling layer may be of the micro-porous type. A fan (La) and/or in its air flow a heat exchanger (Wt) may be provided in the interior (In) of the cooling and heating element, pref. at least, in a separate housing (Gh). The ceiling layer may comprise a fleece or weave of glass, plastic or natural fibres. At least one air outlet aperture (Lo) penetrating the ceiling layer may be provided for an undisturbed second input air flow fed into the room from the fan and/or the heat exchanger.
