Definitions
- the invention relates to a reel device for winding and unwinding of band-shaped material on or from an insertion slot for the winding drum having the beginning of the tape, being inside the winding drum is designed as a rotating rotating sleeve or arranged in the circumferential direction shaft and with at least one clamping curvature is provided.
- Such a reel device has become known from DE 437 972 C.
- the rotating drive shaft with one arranged on it
- the inner drum takes after the band is clamped between them Inner drum and an outer winding drum as a result winding band with.
- a winding mandrel for winding a sheet metal strip with numerous radially adjustable segments In a reel device known from DE 43 21 606 A1 a winding mandrel for winding a sheet metal strip with numerous radially adjustable segments. The beginning of the band is between two of the radially expandable segments are clamped, their outer surfaces form the winding drum. A smooth transition ensuring between the tape turns will be between the two the segments that take up the beginning of the tape and immediately follow one another a paragraph corresponding to the strip thickness is provided so that the subsequent winding turns continuously over the beginning of the tape can be.
- the segments between the the two segments forming the sales in each case compared to the immediate adjacent segments offset in equal steps; this result in the total of the sales height.
- the segments are also incremental between each other facing axial edges of successive segments in the direction of rotation of the reel mandrel for winding around a parallel mandrel Axis inclined.
- FIG. 1 Another reel device known from DE 37 36 857 A1 has a winding mandrel that clamps the start of the tape a clamping slot between a radially adjustable in a carrier guided terminal strip and a cross-over the terminal strip, has adjustable counterholders connected to the carrier.
- On the terminal block is supported by a jacket segment with its free end resilient in the radial direction.
- the mandrel is therefore as Spreader mandrel formed, in which the carrier with the counterholder and the spring-loaded jacket segment represents an expansion segment.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of a reel device of the type mentioned at the beginning with simple Means a clamping of the beginning of the tape allows.
- clamping sleeve in cross-section the shape of a triangle with convex sides having.
- This triangular outer shape of the rotating clamping sleeve the radial gap between the clamping sleeve and the cylindrical inner wall of the winding drum pulsating after each a 120 ° turn of the clamping sleeve.
- the beginning of the band is consequently very quickly after threading into the insertion slot of one of the three clamping arches is gripped and clamped.
- a second embodiment of the invention has the characteristic Features contained in part of claim 4.
- the invention lies here the idea is based on a movement of the clamping sleeve the projecting over the outer diameter of the ferrule Clamping curvature in the winding and unwinding direction of the winding drum limit by restricting the freedom of rotation of the clamping sleeve and thus fulfills another function in addition to the clamping. Due to the limited movement of the Clamping sleeve, which can only rotate in the winding drum to a limited extent, the winding drum can be in a defined threading position for bring the beginning of the tape to be wound, namely the always with certainty within the narrow movement limits.
- This recess defining the limits of movement is located in the area of the insertion slot; it takes up the clamping curvature, so that the clamping sleeve is only inside the recess can move.
- the clamping sleeve is now opposite to the winding direction set in rotation, the clamping curvature settles with a Stop face on the end face of the in the direction of rotation Recess. This will take the winding drum with you and out the threading position precisely in the defined threading position turned.
- the beginning of the tape material can now be determined by that he in the advantageous a clamping plate - as easy to replace Wear part - having execution slot of the Winding drum is inserted. If the clamping sleeve in the winding direction is driven, it detects after a short distance the beginning of the tape and places it between the clamping curve and the Clamping plate firmly. During this movement, it remains after one Design according to the invention with radial play in the winding drum arranged clamping sleeve in the threading position, until the beginning of the tape is clamped; then the winding drum from the driven clamping sleeve for winding the tape.
- the clamping curvature is included a wedge surface rising against the winding direction. This causes a gradual narrowing of the radial gap between the clamping sleeve and the clamping plate of the insertion slot reached and the inserted band start to take the band quickly fixed between the clamping arch and the clamping plate, with which the actual winding of the tape turns on the outer jacket the winding drum is initiated.
- Another advantageous embodiment of the invention provides the winding drum arranged on its inner jacket with circumferentially distributed Form support surfaces. These areas are offered by the increasing winding windings loaded a support on the clamping sleeve.
- the clamping sleeves are adjustable Drive assigned. This enables the peripheral speed of the clamping sleeve rotating within the winding drum adjust the speed at which the beginning of the tape through the Insertion slot of the winding drum in the periodically narrowing Radial gap is inserted. Synchronizing the Speeds allows a smooth and jerk-free clamping of the Band beginning.
- the adjustable drive With only limited within the winding drum rotating clamping sleeve, the adjustable drive enables a low Starting speed of the clamping sleeve for clamping the beginning of the tape, which, after clamping, is adjusted to the feed rate can be adjusted with which the tape to be wound up to the winding drum is transported there.
- the adjustable drive also serves to the peripheral speed of the winding drum to the respective thickness to adapt the band-shaped material to be wound up.
- controllable drive of the clamping sleeves is preferably reversible is, can with the reverse direction of rotation of the winding drums Also unwind tape material. As soon as the tape has been unwound, that there is no more winding on the outer jacket of the winding drums, becomes the end of the strip - due to the strip tension and the direction of rotation of the Sleeve - released automatically. With the rotating only limited The clamping sleeve becomes the after the automatic release of the tape end Winding drum - as described at the beginning - over the clamping arch the clamping sleeve turned precisely into the defined threading position.
- FIG. 1 2 In the reel device 1 for rolled strip shown in FIG. 1 2 is the beginning of the strip 3 of the rolled strip 2 in the usual way a driver 4 deflected into a tape guide device 5. This extends upward from driver 4 to one Winding drum 7 out; it is corresponding to the increasing or decreasing Adjustable collar diameter.
- a rotating shaft 9 Inside the winding drum 7 is a rotating shaft 9 formed with a clamping sleeve 8 is arranged inside the winding drum 7 .
- this has a clamping curvature 10 on the radial gap 11 between the inner wall 12th and the clamping sleeve 8 eccentrically in accordance with its projection dimension narrowed, which is adapted to the thickness of the rolled strip is.
- the tape guide device 5 is on an insertion slot 13 directed in the threading position at rest winding drum 7, and the beginning of the tape 3 by the driver 4 according to arrow 15 advanced roll strip 2 is consequently via the insertion slot 13 in the space between the winding drum 7 and the concentric therein arranged clamping sleeve 8 inserted.
- the clamping curvature 10 the clamping sleeve 8 rotating in the direction of the arrow 14 has the insertion slot 13 has happened, the beginning of the tape 3 of the winding Rolling strip 3 detected and due to the narrowing in this area Radial gap 11 between the inner wall 12 of the winding drum 7 and the clamping arch 10 clamped.
- FIGS. 2a to 2c shown phase images explained in detail.
- Threading position is the winding drum 7 in a rest position and is with its insertion slot 13 axially to the beginning of the tape 3 of the rolled strip 2 to be wound, which in Arrow direction 15 is inserted.
- the one with a dashed line Black box schematically identifying drive 16 in the direction of the arrow 14 driven clamping sleeve 108 has the shape in this embodiment of a triangle with convex sides 17, that is, it has three clamping domes 110a, 110b and 110c.
- the beginning of the tape 3 is pushed in by means of the tape feed (driver 4) Direction of arrow 15 axially into the insertion slot 13 of the winding drum 7.
- the clamping bulges 110a to 110c narrowing radial gap 11 between the rotating clamping sleeve 108 and the cylindrical inner wall 12 of the winding drum 7 the beginning of the band 3 between one of the three clamping arches 110a to 110c and the cylindrical inner wall 12 clamped; according to figure 2b, it is the clamping curvature 110b which detects the beginning 3 of the tape and increasingly sets until it is completely clamped.
- the beginning of the tape protrudes 3 of the rolled strip 2 a certain amount over a nose-shaped Approach 21 in the area of the insertion slot 13 of the winding drum 7 out.
- the first band windings 19 run up, none occur Increments, but only relatively flat, only over a fraction of the material thickness to be wound increasing points of discontinuity, but after just a few tape turns 18 no longer occur.
- FIGS. 4a to 4c In the winding drum 207 shown in FIGS. 4a to 4c is inside the winding drum 207 with a ferrule 208 trained, limited rotating shaft 209 in the circumferential direction radial play arranged.
