Abstract

The elastomeric damping strip in at least one cover resting face of metal is laid into a depression of the metal face. The strip is made of a casting or spatula-filling elastomer mass (7) and protrudes over the resting faces, with its protruding part shaped by a tool (19). The tool is top-open and the elastomer mass is inserted in firm connection with the tool top side. The tool, alternatively, may be top-closed and the elastomer mass may be introduced via injection apertures (21), filling the tool cavity.

Zur besseren Verankerung der Streich- bzw. In beiden Fällen kann die Oberseite der Dämpfungseinlage den Endzustand, d.h. den richtigen Überstand über der Auflagefläche bekommen. Es ist aber auch möglich, die Einlage nach dem Aushärten auf das richtige Überstandsmaß abzuarbeiten und dabei noch weiter zu glätten. Bei diesem neuen Herstellungsverfahren können sowohl die Vertiefung als auch die umgebende Auflageflächen unbearbeitet bleiben. Das richtige Maß des Überstands wird durch mittelndes Abtasten der unbearbeiteten Auflagefläche beim Ausrichten des Formwerkzeugs oder beim anschließenden Abtragen erzeugt.The molding tool placed on the support surface via the preferably pre-cast depression can either be open at the top for introducing (and possibly smoothing) the elastomer composition. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Entwässerungsgegenstands, z.B. einer Schachtabdeckung, bei dem mindestens in einer der aus Metall bestehenden Auflageflächen ein in eine Vertiefung eingelassener Dämpfungsstreifen aus einem Elastomer vorgesehen ist, wobei der Dämpfungsstreifen aus einer gieß- oder spachtelfähigen Elastomermasse hergestellt ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Dämpfungsstreifen über die Auflageflächen übersteht und der überstehende Teil des Dämpfungsstreifens durch ein Formwerkzeug hergestellt wird.
