- the housing 4 is provided with lugs 22 engaging into slots 23 of the hood 5 in its mounted position in order to fix the housing 4 in the hood 5.
- the housing 4 further comprises slots 24, edges 25 of the hood 5 engaging into these slots.
- the housing is an assembly of four equal modules 26 each having at one side two pins 27 (see Fig. 4) and at the opposite side two aligned bores 28, in which the pins 27 of a preceding module 26 can be fittingly received.
- Each module 26 further comprises two lugs 22 and recesses 24.
- the pins 27 of the module 26 lying at the right side in Fig. 4 are removed before the housing 4 is mounted within the hood 5. Removing the pins 26 can be easily done by breaking off by means of a suitable tool.

Claims (7)
- Connecteur (1, 30, 32) pour un câble (2) avec une pluralité de conducteurs et une gaine commune (3), comportant un corps (4) en matière isolante avec des contacts pour être connectés avec les conducteurs et une coque métallique (5), le corps étant au moins partiellement logé dans la coque, dans lequel la gaine du câble peut être connectée à la coque, dans lequel ladite coque est munie d'au moins une patte proéminente (19, 31) pour connecter la coque avec un connecteur complémentaire (17), caractérisé en ce que ledit corps (4) comporte une partie basse (16) débordant de la coque (5) sur sa circonférence complète, ladite partie basse étant adaptée pour être introduite dans le connecteur complémentaire (17), ledit connecteur complémentaire étant entouré par un blindage métallique (21) pour être connecté avec ladite au moins une patte (19, 31).
- Connecteur selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ladite coque (5) est munie d'une patte (19, 31) pour une connexion avec le blindage (21) sur deux faces opposées.
- Connecteur selon l'une des revendications 1 à 2, dans lequel ladite coque (5) comporte deux parties (6, 7) détachables interconnectées et entourant une partie supérieure du corps (4), dans lequel la coque et le corps sont munis de moyens d'attache coopérants (22 - 25) pour attacher le corps dans la coque.
- Connecteur selon la revendication 3, dans lequel ledit corps est un assemblage d'une pluralité de parties (36, 37) qui sont interconnectées par un couvercle (38) en matière isolante, ledit couvercle ayant les moyens d'attache (22) pour attacher le corps (4) à la coque (5).
- Connecteur selon la revendication 3, dans lequel le corps (4) est un assemblage d'une pluralité de modules identiques (26), dans lequel chaque module (26) a au moins Une broche (27) sur une première face, et sur une deuxième face opposée une cavité (28) pour accepter exactement la broche correspondante d'un module adjacent.
- Connecteur selon la revendication 5, dans lequel chaque module a un corbeau (22) et un décrochement (24) sur des faces opposées, dans lequel lesdits corbeaux et décrochements des modules assemblés constituent les moyens d'attaches du corps (4).
- Connecteur selon l'une des revendications 5 à 6, dans lequel chaque broche (27) d'un module (26) est adaptée pour être supprimé.
