Description

The present invention relates to a roof drain fitting with the features according to the preamble of the main claim.

In a known roof drain fitting of this type (DE-P 31 09 345), a collar is formed on the top of a pot, to which a connection piece for a downpipe is connected, which serves to support the sealing sheets lying on the roof surface. The sealing sheets are held in the area of the collar by a clamping ring. During assembly, the pot is poured into a concrete roof, taking care that the collar comes to rest in the area of the sealing membrane.

The task of the invention consists in a roof drain fitting, which allows a simplified installation on any roof compared to the aforementioned prior art.

Die Unteransprüche haben bevorzugte Ausführungsformen dieser Lösung zum Inhalt. The dependent claims contain preferred embodiments of this solution.

When assembling a roof drain fitting according to the invention, the box-shaped lower part is first placed and screwed onto the supporting roof structure, specifically where an opening is provided in the supporting roof structure. Concreting is not necessary. After attaching the lower part, the upper part is placed concentrically on the lower part. The flat, downward-facing walls of the upper part are located outside of the box walls of the lower part. The height of the upper part, on which the collar is formed, is adjusted according to the thickness of the thermal insulation layer lying on the load-bearing roof by means of locking elements. The length of the walls is dimensioned so that the height differences can be adjusted in large areas. A roof drain fitting according to the invention can be used with solid roofs as well as with load-bearing sheet metal constructions.

According to the further invention, the roof drain fitting is equipped with thermal insulation layers which ensure thermal protection at any height.
