Claims (11)

  1. Apparatus for changing printing plates on cylinders of printing machines, comprising a pivotable printing-plate loading unit, which includes a printing-plate feed compartment and a printing-plate removal compartment, it being possible for the printing-plate loading unit to be pivoted into a working position at the channel in a printing-plate cylinder having clamping devices, and into a loading position, in which the printing-plate loading unit is retracted from the working position, characterized in that the printing-plate loading unit (2), which can be pivoted into a vertical loading position, can be pivoted against a holding element (5), on which there are provided an inlet area (13) for a printing plate (14) to be taken off the printing-plate cylinder (12), and conveying devices (6) for a printing plate (22) to be fitted to the printing-plate cylinder (12).
