Claims (13)

  1. Dampening unit for an offset printing machine having an applicator roller (2) which can be set onto a forme cylinder (1), and an intermediate roller (3) making contact with the applicator roller and with a dip roller (4) dipping into a dampening agent, the intermediate roller (3) and the dip roller (4) being both removable together from the applicator roller (2) and, with the possibility of later reproducing their previous mutual contact setting, from each other, and all the rollers (2, 3, 4) being adjustable in axial distance with respect to their contact, the dip roller (4) being additionally adjustable with respect to its offset with regard to the intermediate roller (3), characterised in that the applicator roller, the intermediate roller and the dip roller are mounted respectively on both sides together in a bearing bracket (5) mounted in the frame (7) so as to be pivotable in the direction of the forme cylinder (1), the applicator roller (2) being mounted directly, whilst ensuring adjustability of its contact with the forme cylinder (2), and the intermediate roller (3) and the dip roller (4) being mounted with the interposition of their means for making connection and disconnection,
    in that the intermediate roller (3) is mounted on both sides in a first lever (12) arranged with an axial offset with respect to the bearing bracket (5), and mounted pivotably in the bracket coaxially to the dip roller (4),
    in that the dip roller is mounted on both sides in a second lever (17) arranged with an axial offset with respect to the first lever (12) for the intermediate roller (3) and mounted in this lever so as to be pivotable coaxially to the intermediate roller (3) and variable in axial spacing with respect to this roller,
    in that the dip roller (4) is mounted by means of an eccentric bushing (16) in the second lever (17), the eccentric bushing (16) has a worm wheel (18) standing laterally proud of the second lever, into which engages an adjustment screw (20) mounted in the second lever (17), the second lever (17) is equipped with a recess (21) which makes its shifting and pivoting possible, this recess, with two parallel guide surfaces (22; 23), abuts a guide bushing (10) serving as the bearing for the intermediate roller (3) in its first lever (12) and standing laterally proud of it, and has a support surface (24) equipped with a curve coaxial to the intermediate roller (3) for an adjustment cam (25) mounted in the first lever (12) for the intermediate roller (3), and causing the lifting of the dip roller (4) with respect to the intermediate roller (3),
    in that the dip roller (4) is supported by means of a pendulum bearing (28) in the eccentric bushing (16) making possible its one-sided pivoting and hence its setting with respect to the intermediate roller (3),
    in that an adjustment spindle (27), guided in a threaded bore which is fixed with respect to the second lever (17) for the intermediate roller (3), engages on the lever for the dip roller (4), and
    in that all the dampening rollers (2 to 4) are positively driven with a degree of slip with respect to each other.
  2. Dampening unit according to claim 1, characterised in that a pressure-medium-operated working cylinder (8) connected to the frame (7) is articulated on the bearing bracket (5), and the pivot movement of the bearing backet (5) in the direction of the forme cylinder (1) is adjustably limited by a stop (9) secured on the frame (7).
  3. Dampening unit according to claim 1, characterised in that articulated on the first lever (12) is a pressure-medium-operated working cylinder (13) connected to the bearing bracket (5), and the pivot movement of the first lever (12) in the direction of the applicator roller (2) is adjustably limited by a stop (14) secured on the bearing bracket (5).
  4. Dampening unit according to claim 1 to 3, characterised in that the bearing bracket (5) is detachably secured on the frame (7), the first lever (12) for the intermediate roller (3) on the bearing bracket (5), and the second lever (17) for the dip roller (4) on the first lever (12) for the intermediate roller (3), in each case displaceably and, with the aid of claws (29; 30; 31) engaging over the bearing bracket (5) and the first and second levers (12; 17) respectively, ensuring a lateral clearance which makes the respective shift movement possible.
  5. Dampening unit according to claim 1 to 4, characterised in that the applicator roller (2) is driven at the circumferential speed of the forme cylinder (1), and the intermediate roller (3) is driven with a degree of slip, lagging with respect to the applicator roller (2) and leading with respect to the dip roller (4), the drive for the dip roller (4) and the intermediate roller (3) being jointly adjustable with regard to rotational speed.
  6. Dampening unit according to claim 5, characterised in that the intermediate roller (3) and the dip roller (4) are driven by a motor (35) which can be regulated as regards rotational speed by means of spur gears (37; 41; 42) provided with a play which makes adjustment of the rollers possible, the shaft (39) of the intermediate roller (3) penetrating the bearing bracket (5) with a radial clearance that makes its adjustment possible, and the shaft (40) of the dip roller (4) penetrating the first lever (12) of the intermediate roller (3) and the bearing bracket (5) with a radial clearance making its adjustment possible.
  7. Dampening unit according to claim 6, characterised in that the spur gear (42) for the dip roller (4) is equipped with curved teeth which make it possible to limit it with respect to the intermediate roller (3).
  8. Dampening unit according to claim 6 and 7, characterised in that the motor (35) is flanged on the outside of the frame (7), and the spur gears (41; 42), driven by it by means of a shaft (38) penetrating the frame (7) in a bore, are arranged in a recess (36) on the inside of the frame (7) under the bearing bracket (5).
  9. Dampening unit according to claim 1 to 8, characterised in that the applicator roller (2) is driven directly from the forme cylinder (1) by means of two spur gears (32; 33), and between the frame-mounted spur gear (33) for the applicator roller (2) and the applicator roller, there is arranged a cardan shaft (34) which makes its pivoting possible.
  10. Dampening unit according to claim 6 to 9, characterised in that the applicator roller (2), the intermediate roller (3), and the dip roller (4) are mounted on both sides in roller locks (46; 47; 48) making their axial dismantling possible.
  11. Dampening unit according to claim 1 to 10, characterised in that additionally mounted in the bearing bracket (5) are a distributor roller (44; 45) making contact in the outward run of the dampening agent and/or a distributor roller (44; 45) making contact in the dampening agent reflux respectively with the applicator roller (2), adjustable in axial spacing with respect to the applicator roller (2).
  12. Dampening unit according to claim 11, characterised in that in each case the drive for a reciprocating movement of the distributor rollers (44; 45) is in connection with the drive of the forme cylinder (1) by means of a cardan shaft.
  13. Dampening unit according to claim 1 to 12, characterised in that the dip roller (4) and the applicator roller (2) are coated with hydrophilic rubber, the intermediate roller (3) and the distributor roller (45) in the outward run of the dampening agent with chrome, and the distributor roller (44) in the dampening agent reflux with copper or Rilsan.
