Definitions

  • the invention relates to a foldable packaging container, as described in the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such packaging is known from CH-A5-652 093 and is formed according to this design from two separate blanks for an upper and lower packaging part.
  • the packaging parts which have different heights, overlap in the area of the side walls and are connected to one another via fastening tabs arranged in the overlap area or directly in the overlap area of the side walls via adhesive points or adhesive tapes.
  • the side walls of the lower packaging part are designed lower in this packaging than the side walls of the upper packaging part.
  • a disadvantage of this packaging is that the fastening points formed by gluing have to be separated in order to loosen the packaging parts and therefore only glue with low adhesive strengths can be used for the gluing, in order to enable the loosening, or by a complex manipulation on the inner packaging part Fastening tabs must be separated. Due to the different heights of the packaging parts, however, the fastening points are inadvertently released in many cases, particularly when the packages are stacked, due to the pressure load that occurs.
  • Such packaging is known from DE-U1 92 10 566.1.
  • This describes a two-part packaging made of fold material, which consists of a lower and an upper packaging part which are inserted into one another, the lower packaging part delimiting the packaging internally and the upper packaging part delimiting the packaging externally.
  • the walls of the lower and the upper part of the packaging overlap and both have fastening tabs, which correspond to one another and can be detached from the walls in question by separating lines, which are connected to one another, in particular glued.
  • a disadvantage of this design is that perforations have to be provided on both packaging parts, which increases both the production outlay and the outlay for releasing the connecting device.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a packaging which offers resistance to high mechanical stresses and which consists of partially separable container parts and after separation a container part remains for presenting the goods in the packaging.
  • the effort to manufacture such packaging and to detach a connecting device is to be reduced.
  • the surprising advantage of the solution according to the invention now lies in the fact that a separation between the outer packaging part designed for the presentation of goods from the inner packaging part takes place by separating a wall part of the outer packaging part along predetermined weakening areas, with a separation of gluing points which separate the outer and the Connect the inner part of the packaging with each other, is not necessary and therefore high-strength adhesives can be used for these connections.
  • high strength and improved stackability and thus an economical packaging and presentation system are achieved.
  • the greatest possible overlap area of the walls of the outer and inner packaging part can be created, which further increases the strength.
  • the double-walled packaging container has a high resistance to kinking and is therefore suitable for absorbing higher weights, and a high stackability with smaller wall thicknesses is achieved.
  • the wall part of the outer container part which is arranged in the overlap region of the two container parts and is connected to the inner container part is delimited by a dividing line.
  • the dividing line can be a tear strip, the front edge of the container part, a protective edge or joint as well as a material weakening or a weakening area such as e.g. a line of perforations or the like may be formed.
  • Claim 2 describes a further advantageous embodiment because it achieves a cutout in at least one longitudinal side wall and / or end side wall that enables a clear presentation of the goods and their easy removal.
  • An embodiment according to claim 3 is also advantageous, as a result of which simple handling for separating the container parts after shipping or storage and presentation of the goods is achieved.
  • a handle opening for easy handling of the tear strip is formed.
  • an embodiment according to claim 8 is also advantageous, as a result of which an increased force can be exerted on the end region of the tear strip for removal.
  • an embodiment according to claim 11 is also advantageous because the double-walled packaging container has a high resistance to kinking and is therefore suitable for absorbing higher weights or a high stackability is achieved.
  • an embodiment according to claim 19 is also advantageous, as a result of which a trough-shaped base part is provided for the safe storage and presentation of the goods.
  • the stacking forces are evenly distributed over the outer and inner packaging part and taken over by the walls with a high degree of kink resistance.
  • an embodiment according to claim 24 is also advantageous because it achieves a uniform kink resistance regardless of the height of the inner packaging part.
  • the packaging container is simply closed without the use of auxiliary materials, such as adhesive strips, glue, etc., and thus short packaging times and a corresponding economic output of fully packaged units.
  • training as described in claim 25 is advantageous, because this ensures that goods with a higher weight are held securely by permanent gluing of the bottom flaps, and this training is particularly suitable for the use of foldable packaging containers.
  • FIG. 1 shows a foldable packaging container 1, consisting of an outer container part 2 and an inner container part 3. These each have 2 longitudinal side walls 4, 5, 6, 7 and 2 end walls 8, 9, 10, 11 each, each of the container parts 2, 3 are alternately articulated to one another and are endlessly connected to one another, in particular glued, via at least one connecting tab 13, 14 arranged in the direction of a height 12 of the container part 2, 3. Articulated on longitudinal edges 15, the outer container part 2 has overlapping bottom flaps 16, 17 in regions when erected.
  • the inner container part 3 has hinged to the longitudinal edges 18 in the erected state overlapping areas of the lid flaps 19, 20.
  • an interior space 21 is delimited by the longitudinal side walls 4, 5, 6, 7, end side walls 8, 9, 10, 11, bottom plates 16, 17 and cover plates 19, 20.
  • the stable shape of the packaging container 1 or the container part 2, 3 is thereby achieved by a connection, e.g. the bottom flaps 16, 17 and / or top flaps 19, 20 are glued in their overlapping areas.
  • the connection can also be mechanical, e.g. by staples etc. or by providing adhesive strips on the butt joints of the tabs etc.
  • the shape of the interior is predetermined by defining a length 22 of the end walls 8, 9, a length 23 of the longitudinal walls 4, 5 and the height 12. In its simplest form, the interior is cuboid or cuboid. However, other shapes are also possible.
  • the outer container part 2 has an opening 24 approximately in the middle of the length 23 and spaced apart from the longitudinal edge 15. From this opening, two tear strips 26, each formed by two approximately parallel to one another and formed by dividing lines 25, extend to one another in an approximately V-shape and extend into the region of the end edges 27 arranged opposite the longitudinal edges 15.
  • a connecting device 29 e.g. arranged by clips 30 and / or an adhesive 31, whereby in the overlap area 28 the outer container part 2 and the inner container part 3 are positively and non-positively connected to one another.
  • the gluing in the overlap region 28 delimited by the tear strips and the front edge 27 between the outer container part 2 and the inner container part 3 can take place over the entire area, in partial areas or selectively.
  • the tear strips 26 are detached along the dividing lines 25 the outer container part 2 and the inner container part 3 is interrupted, since a wall part 33 of the outer container part 2 delimited by the tear strip 26 and the front edge 27 is released with the connecting device 29. Thereafter, or in the case of an opposite arrangement of the wall parts 33, these, together with the inner container part 3, can be lifted against the direction of the bottom flaps 16, 17 or pulled out of the outer container part 2 surrounding them.
  • the goods 32 located in the packaging container 1 are thus accessible from above and partly from the side via a wall cutout 34 formed after the removal of the wall parts 33 and the tear strips 26.
  • FIGS. This consists of the outer container part 2 and the inner container part 3.
  • the outer container part 2 has the overlapping base plates 16, 17 and the inner container part, the overlapping cover plates 19, 20.
  • a height 35 of the inner container part 3 corresponds to that Height 12 of the outer container part 2 minus a double thickness 36 of the bottom flaps 16, 17.
  • a double wall is thus achieved over the entire height 12, with end edges 37 of the inner container part 3 on a surface 38 of the bottom flaps 16 facing the interior 21 stand up and an upper side of the cover flaps 20 run in one plane with the end edges 27 of the outer container part 2.
  • a high stack strength and a high absorption capacity for goods 32 having a higher weight are thus achieved.
  • the outer container part 2 On the longitudinal side walls 4, 5 opposite when the packaging container 1 is erected, the outer container part 2 has the openings 24 approximately in the middle of the length 23 and at a distance 39 from an outer surface 40 of the bottom flaps 16, 17.
  • One of the front side walls 8, 9 in the embodiment shown, the front side wall 8, of the outer container part 2 has a parting line 41 which runs approximately parallel to the surface 40 at a distance 39 and which is located in the longitudinal side walls 4, 5 up to the area of the openings 24 extends.
  • the longitudinal side walls 4, 5 of the outer container part 2 have the tear strips 26 formed by dividing lines 25 running approximately parallel to one another.
  • the dividing lines 25, e.g. formed by a perforation, material weakening, etc. run at an angle 42 to the end edge 27.
  • the angle 42 is approximately 60 °
  • the length 23 in this preferred embodiment being approximately 40 cm
  • the height 12 in about 26 cm and the distance 39 of the opening 24 from the surface 40 is about 4 cm.
  • the connecting device 29 is formed by the adhesive 31 arranged in regions in the overlap region 28.
  • the adhesive 31 can be provided locally but also over the entire area in the overlap region 28.
  • a content of the packaging container 1 e.g. the goods 32, without this having to be removed from the packaging container 1, can be removed after removing the tear strips 26, the inner container part 3 together with the wall part 33 of the outer container part 2 against the direction of the bottom flaps 16, 17, the Goods 32 in the outer container part 2, which now has the wall cut-out 34 formed by a cutting edge 43 of the joint 41 facing the bottom flaps 16, 17 and the dividing line 25 facing the bottom flaps 16, 17, as a result of which the goods 32 can be easily viewed and removed.
  • the inner container part 3 it is possible for the inner container part 3 to have openings 44 in the region of the openings 24, as a result of which it is easier to grasp an end region 46 of the tear strip 26 which is designed as a tab 45.
  • a material weakening or a weakening area as is known in packaging cartons or packaging containers for tearing or separating individual parts of the packaging, is formed by linear crushing of the materials, by applying perforation lines or by spaced-apart material separations arranged in a row. It is also possible to insert a tear thread along such lines, for example made of steel wire, into the cardboard, whereby the cardboard can be divided along this tear line when the wire is removed.
  • tear strips which are formed by lines of weakness running parallel to one another.
  • Such a weakening of the material also represents a linear punching out or severing of the cardboard with a cutting punch or knife, resulting in a parting line along which the cut edges of the severed cardboard but without being at a substantial distance from one another abut one another.
  • FIG. 5 shows a blank 47 for the outer container part 2 in its development.
  • This has the alternatingly arranged longitudinal side walls 4, 5 and end side walls 8, 9.
  • Fold lines 48 are formed in the articulation area.
  • the bottom flaps 16, 17 are articulated via fold lines 49, a width 50 of the bottom flaps 17 articulated on the longitudinal side walls 4, 5 being approximately half a width 51 of the end side walls 8, 9, but at maximum can correspond to the width 51.
  • a width 52 of the bottom flaps 16 articulated on the front side walls 8, 9 is less than half the length 23 of the long side walls 4, 5.
  • the connecting flap 13 is articulated in an end region 53 of the blank 47 via a further folding line 54 in an end region 53 , by means of the erect state, for example by gluing to a further end region 55 of the blank 47 this is brought into an endless shape.
  • the openings 24 are arranged approximately in the middle of the length 23 and at a distance 39 from the longitudinal edge 15.
  • the separating joint 41 also runs between them at a distance 39 and approximately parallel to the longitudinal edge 15.
  • the tear strips 26 formed by the separating lines 25 running parallel to one another are arranged at an angle 42 to the end edge 27.
  • the dividing line 25 assigned to the wall part 33 already ends in front of the front edge 27.
  • FIG. 6 shows a blank 56 for the inner container part 3 in its development.
  • This has the alternatingly arranged longitudinal side walls 6, 7 and end side walls 10, 11, between which fold lines 57 run.
  • the cover flaps 19, 20 are articulated via fold lines 58.
  • the connecting flap 14 is articulated about a further height 35 by means of a further folding line, by means of which the blank 56 is brought into an endless shape by gluing to a further end region 60 in the erected state.
  • the openings 44 are arranged in the longitudinal side walls 6, 7.
  • the position of the openings 44 is selected such that they are positioned approximately coaxially with the opening 24 arranged in the outer container part in the longitudinal side walls, with the container parts 2, 3 erected and inserted one into the other.
  • a cross-sectional area of the openings 44 is chosen to be larger than a cross-sectional area of the openings 24. This ensures that the tabs 45, which are optionally arranged on the tear strips 26, are easy to grasp.
  • Cardboard, corrugated cardboard, plastic film can be used as material for the formation of the packaging container 1. Different thicknesses of the materials for the blanks 47, 56 can also be used. Furthermore, stiffening in the direction of the heights 35, 61 of the longitudinal side walls 4, 5, 6, 7 and / or end side walls 8, 9, 10, 11 is possible in order to achieve a higher kink resistance.
