Claims (9)

  1. Lateral pulling device for the lateral alignment of sheets on the feeding table (1) of a sheet-fed rotary printing machine, it being possible for the lateral pulling device (3) to be set to the sheet format which is to be processed, and a spindle (28; 30) for displacing the lateral pulling device being provided, characterized in that the spindle (28;30) is mounted in a contactless manner with respect to a housing (16) of the lateral pulling device (3), and in that the spindle (28;30) has slave means (48,49) which act on the housing (16) of the lateral pulling device (3).
  2. Lateral pulling device according to Claim 1, characterized in that an energy store (52) which acts in the adjustment direction and is supported on a protrusion (56) of the housing (16) and on the slave means (48;49) arranged on the spindle (28;30) is provided.
  3. Lateral pulling device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spindle (28;30) is mounted rotatably and displaceably at bearing locations (29,44;39,44).
  4. Lateral pulling device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bearing location (44) has an energy store (47) which acts on the spindles (28,30) in the axial direction.
  5. Lateral pulling device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the drive gear wheels (32,33) of the spindles (28,30) have a diameter (d) which is very large in comparison with the respective depths (h) of their teeth.
  6. Lateral pulling device according to claim 1, characterized in that a drive shaft (61) is provided for initiating a pulling movement of the lateral pulling device (3), and in that the drive shaft (61) has slave means (64, 66) which, for the purpose of transmitting torques to a drive member (67) of the lateral pulling device (3), engage, with axial and radial play in each case, in spline grooves (62, 63) of the drive shaft (61).
  7. Device according to Claim 6, characterized in that the slave means (64,66) are sliding blocks.
  8. Lateral pulling device according to Claim 7, characterized in that the sliding blocks (64,66) are fastened on the drive member (67), which encloses the drive shaft (61) coaxially at a distance therefrom.
  9. Lateral pulling device according to Claim 8, characterized in that the drive member (67) is a clamping ring.
