Eine Fördereinrichtung dieser Art ist in der älteren CH-Patentanmeldung Nr. 00 887/94-6, angemeldet am 24. März 1994, offenbart. Sie weist ein drehend angetriebenes Trägerrad auf, an dem in Umfangsrichtung verteilt Tragelemente befestigt sind, an welchen je ein Tragarm und Lenkorgan um zur Drehachse des Trägerrades parallelle Schwenkachsen angelenkt ist. Im freien Endbereich jedes Tragarmes ist an diesem ein zur Drehachse paralleller Lagerschaft angeordnet, an dem zwei zusammenwirkende, in Schliessrichtung vorgespannte Klemmbacken einer Klammer schwenkbar gelagert sind. Eine erste der Klemmbacken ist mit dem Lenkorgan verbunden, um die Klammer um ihre Anlenkung am Tragarm zu verschwenken. Sowohl die Schwenklage der Tragarme, als auch die Lage der Lenkorgane ist getrennt voneinander gesteuert, um die Klammer auch unabhängig von einer Schwenkbewegung der Tragarme zu verschwenken. Dies ermöglicht insbesondere das Bewegen der Klammer in Umlaufrichtung relativ zu den Tragelementen, wobei die Schwenklage der Klammern steuerbar ist, was besondere Vorteile beim Uebernehmen und Abgeben der Erzeugnisse sowie gegebenenfalls beim Vorbeiführen der Erzeugnisse in definierter Lage und mit gegebener Geschwindigkeit an Bearbeitungsstationen mit sich bringt. Vor der Uebernahme eines Erzeugnisses werden die Klammern in eine Lage verschwenkt, in welcher das durch die Klemmbacken gebildete Maul in Umlaufrichtung nach vorne gerichtet ist. Dabei kommt ein mit der in dieser Lage radial aussen liegenden zweiten Klemmbacke verbundenes Anschlagelement an einen Gegenanschlag am Tragarm zur Anlage, wodurch diese zweite Klemmbacke am weiteren Folgen der durch das Lenkorgan gesteuerten weiteren Schwenkbewegung der ersten Klemmbacke gehindert ist, was zum Oeffnen der Klammer führt. Zum Abgeben der Erzeugnisse an die Verarbeitungsmaschine werden die Klammern mit in etwa radial nach aussen gerichtetem Maul zwischen jeweils zwei aufeinanderfolgende Wandelemente der Verarbeitungsmaschine eingeführt. Der betreffende Tragarm wird dann in Umlaufrichtung nach vorne geschwenkt, bis sich die zweite Klemmbacke mit einer an ihrem freien Ende gelagerten Andrückwalze über das Erzeugnis am in Umlaufrichtung vorauslaufenden Wandelement abstützt.
