Abstract
Description
The subject of the present invention is a shoe-binding assembly and a device fastening a shoe to a sliding member such as cross-country ski intended more specifically for the practice of skating, but also ice skate, roller, in-line wheel, or other device for practicing a skating-type sliding sport.
It relates more specifically to a fixing device in which the boot is fixed to the ski or to the sliding member substantially at the level of the metatarsophalangeal joint zone or in front of it.
By FR 2 642 980, a versatile binding device for skiing is known. consisting of a beam articulated on the ski, on which the boot is anchored from the front end of the latter to an area located in front of the axis metatarsophalangeal joint. Such a device ensures, through of the beam, an articulated connection, but rigid in transverse direction, of the ski boot, more particularly adapted to the practice of ski touring says Nordic.
Furthermore, it is provided in this same patent to secure the beam to the ski and to allow the shoe to rotate only around a single axis of rotation located at the front of the boot, for the purpose of cross-country skiing proper, whether in the so-called classic or skating technique. Such a fixing device versatile unfortunately turns out to be too complicated, heavy and expensive. It is also not very suitable for skating.
It has also been proposed, for the practice of skating steps in cross-country skiing or skating, special fasteners holding the entire front area of the shoe up to the metatarsophalangeal axis of articulation.
Such a fixing device is for example described in FR 2,595,952 in the name of the plaintiff. Such a fastening system with grip of the shoe on the ski over its entire front area up to the level of the metatarsophalangeal axis of articulation provides better ski guidance and better stability, increased precision, as well as good ski / boot contact and therefore a good touch of snow.
The disadvantage of such a fastening device is the safety problem in the event of fall.
Indeed, the skier's foot being maintained up to the level of the metatarsals, a falling can cause very large forces on the part of the foot held and give rise in particular to fractures of the toes. The same problem arises in other sliding sports such as skating.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device and improved shoe-binding assembly from a shoe to a skating type skating and providing increased security, while being simple, lightweight and suitable for practicing board sports.
This object is achieved in the shoe-binding assembly according to the invention for the attachment of the front part of a shoe to a sliding sport member of the type skating, the rear part of the shoe remaining free, consisting of a base, a shoe provided with complementary locking means of means of locking of the fixing device mounted non-pivotally on the base, the means for locking the shoe being arranged substantially at the level of the zone metatarsophalangeal joint or in front of it, the means of additional locking of the boot and the binding being designed to so as to allow a release of the shoe beyond a predetermined effort acting on these locking means, the shoe and the fastening device comprising complementary wedging means of the front end of the shoe against skiing.
Such a shoe-binding assembly therefore combines the advantages of a grip or anchoring of the shoe at the metatarsal level, namely guidance, stability and increased precision while allowing a release or triggering of the means locking and therefore increased security.
According to a preferred embodiment, the wedging means are constituted by second non-releasable locking means, cooperating with second shoe locking means, these second means of lock being arranged at the front end of the shoe.
- in competition, saves a considerable amount of time,
- provides vis-à-vis third parties increased security since it avoids and
It should be noted that with the arrangement of the second locking means in the front end area of the shoe, it is ensured that the toes will not tablets during a fall, due to the triggering of the first means anchoring, and that sufficient release of the shoe is thus obtained.
Advantageously also the first locking means are designed to so as to allow automatic locking, which allows the boot to be very simple fixing, the second locking means, arranged at the front of the shoe first being mutually engaged and locked, and the first locking means then being locked automatically by simple press from the foot down.
Preferably, each means of locking the boot consists of a transverse axis and each locking means of the fixing device is constituted by a movable jaw cooperating with a fixed counter jaw for the locking of the associated axis of the shoe.
The fixing device according to the invention is, in turn, defined in the claim independent 15.
- FIG. 1 is a partially sectioned view of a binding / shoe assembly according to a first embodiment,
- FIGS. 2 and 3 are views similar to FIG. 1 showing the fixing device respectively in the open position and in the release position,
- Figure 4 is a view similar to Figure 1 of a binding / shoe assembly according to a second embodiment.
Figures 1 to 3 show the use of a fixing device with a

The
les axes 42, 45.In a manner known per se, the blocking of the kneepad is obtained when the axis

The
Each of the
As the figures show, the

l'axe 11.A
Furthermore, the

In the open position, illustrated in FIG. 2, the

Note that in this opening movement the
d'appui associée respectivement 21, 22.The two
obtenu par le système à genouillère 41, 43.As explained above, a reliable locking of the axes is then

In the event of an excessive force exerted on the
At this moment, the shoe can then pivot freely around the
Furthermore, as the

plus facile. This permanent locking of the

n'est verrouillée que par son axe arrière 11.The exemplary embodiment of the invention shown in FIG. 4 differs from
the previous example by replacing the
All other elements are designated by identical references.
The stops 13, 39 cooperate together to secure the end front of the shoe against the sliding member and guarantee a contact without play of the shoe with it on the entire front of the shoe.
These vertical stops 13, 39 could also be replaced by horizontal stops for example between the underside of the shoe and the face top of the carriage of the fixing device.
Compared to such a solution, the vertical stops have the advantage of not be subject to wear problems.
The
It will also be noted that the locking systems with axis, hook described could be replaced by any equivalent locking system.
However, the hinge type locking system described is preferred since it
allows easy rotation of the shoe around the
