Description

The invention relates to a holding device for adjustable reflector of a vehicle headlight, with a resilient holding element through which the reflector with a contact surface to an adjusting element under prestress can be put on, the reflector in a pot-shaped housing is used with which the resilient holding element is connected and which has an opening for receiving the Has adjusting element.

Such a holding device for an adjustable The reflector of a vehicle headlight is from DE 23 24 340 known. The headlight has a pot-shaped housing and a translucent one that closes the housing Cover on. In the of the cup-shaped housing and the inner lens formed is a cup-shaped reflector used, which by a horizontal and a vertical axis is pivotable. In a distance from the horizontal axis is the back of the Reflector with the bottom of the housing by a resilient Holding element connected. The resilient holding element is one Coil spring, the central axis of which in the direction of insertion Reflector runs into one in the back of the Reflector introduced opening is hooked. The Coil spring is a tension spring and pulls the reflector towards Back of the case. Near the coil spring is in an opening is made in the bottom of the pot-shaped housing, which for receiving a remotely adjustable adjustment element serves by which the reflector around the horizontal axis is pivotable. The adjustment element is cylindrical designed and stands out from the back of the case. A Adjusting bolt of the adjusting element leads through the opening of the housing and has with its free end in Direction of light emission. At the free end of the Adjusting bolt is the reflector with an in Direction of insertion of the reflector facing contact surface. The contact surface is formed by a connecting part, which is attached to the outer edge of the reflector. In the connection part is introduced into which the coil spring is hooked. The one serving as a tension spring Coil spring presses the reflector so firmly against the Adjusting bolt of the adjusting element that the reflector in every swivel position is kept rattle-free. An assembly and disassembly of the adjustment element is quick and easy feasible because between the adjusting bolt and the Connection element no self-locking connection, which is often common. However, the assembly of the Coil spring very cumbersome and time consuming, because the Only then coil spring in the opening of the connecting part of the reflector can be hooked in when the reflector is in the cup-shaped housing is inserted. Hooking the Coil spring is from the front of the headlamp not possible if between the reflector and the Sidewalls of the pot-shaped housing a small gap consists. The hooking of the coil spring is then only through the opening in the bottom of the housing possible. The Opening for the adjusting element is often so small that a It is not possible to hook the coil spring by hand a special assembly device is required is.

The object of the invention is that in the preamble of Holding device described for a adjustable reflector of a vehicle headlight like this to design that the resilient holding element before insertion of the reflector on the inside of the pot-shaped housing is attachable and when inserting the reflector in the Pot-shaped housing automatically with the reflector connects. This object is achieved according to the invention solved that the resilient holding element is rod-shaped is, in its longitudinal extent transverse to the direction of insertion of the Reflector runs, is firmly clamped to the housing and has a free-standing end section, which in a Undercut of the reflector engages self-locking.

It is also advantageous if the housing with a directed against the direction of insertion of the reflector and as a stop for the resilient end section of the holding element serving surface is provided, of which the resilient End section is lifted when the adjusting element is inserted. This supports the free end section of the holding element when inserting the reflector into the pot-like housing from the stop until the free end section in the Undercut of the reflector engages self-locking. It is useful if when dismantled Adjustment element, the holding element resiliently on the stop is present. In such an embodiment, the reflector until the assembly of the adjustment element rattle-free in the Pot-shaped housing held. This is especially then important if the adjustment element is only in the final assembly of the Vehicle is mounted. In this context it is further advantageous if the contact surface of the reflector is a spherical shell without an undercut, in which one Ball head of the adjusting element engages. Here is the Reflector, although the adjustment element continues to be simple and is easy to assemble and disassemble Adjustment element locked transversely to its direction of insertion.

It is also advantageous if the back of the Reflector with an oblique to the direction of insertion Reflective running surface for the resilient arm of the holding element is provided. When inserting the reflector slides the holding element with its resilient free End section along the run-up surface of the reflector to the end section self-locking into the undercut of the Intervenes.

Another benefit is when at the back of the Reflector a fastener is attached, which the for the adjustment element serving contact surface and for the Supporting surface and undercut having. Such a separate connecting element can consist of There are no plastics and there is no need to manufacture them additional adjustable tools may be necessary.

It is also advantageous if the holding element in one Section between its clamping position and its resilient free end section around a transverse to it Longitudinal axis to a coil spring is wrapped. This allows the rod-shaped holding element to rigid on the section designed as a coil spring be. Nevertheless, with a small adjustment force Adjusting element a large adjustment path of the resilient End section possible. In addition, the free end section the holding element because of its high bending stiffness long and thus the clamping point of the resilient holding element in the direction of insertion of the reflector seen at a greater distance from the undercut of the Be arranged reflector.

It is also advantageous if the holding element by a bolt-like fastener on the housing is clamped, the bolt-like fastener grips the holding element with a head and against it Housing presses. Through the bolt-like fastener is a simple and quick attachment of the holding element possible on the inside of the housing.

In a particularly advantageous development of the invention the resilient holding element consists of a U-shaped curved wire spring, the legs of which are each rod-shaped Are part, record the connecting element between themselves and in each case an undercut of the connecting element intervention. With such a configuration, the is between the holding element and the reflector existing self-locking Connection very secure against unwanted loosening. It is also useful if the disassembled Adjustment element a spacer of the housing between the engages both legs of the holding element. That’s it not required that the legs when inserting the Reflector in the pot-shaped housing so far apart need to spring and still the connecting element be clamped very firmly between the two legs.

It is also advantageous if the two legs of the U-shaped holding element on opposite sides each wound in one section to form a coil spring are which to the free end portions of the legs run outside and the coil springs Sections of the legs on the outside of a support element of the Adjacent housing. Because of the two support elements, which the two sections designed as coil springs between them, the force increases is necessary to bend apart the free end sections. It is furthermore expedient if the holding element with the section of the legs adjoining its web is angled towards the bottom of the pot-shaped housing and with the angled section into a recess in the bottom of the housing is inserted and in the recess in Longitudinal extension of the holding element is held. This must the bolt-like fastener the holding elements hold only in the direction of insertion of the reflector. The outside sections of the legs adjoining the recess should be so close to each other that the bolt-like fastener between them still can be passed through and with a head the legs engages and the legs against the bottom of the pot-shaped Housing presses.

In addition, it is still advantageous if off the floor of the cup-shaped housing towards the interior of the headlight Strive for approaches that are used as spacers for the Serve holding element. It is advantageous if a first approach sleeve-shaped and the Fastening point for the bolt-like fastener is, two second approaches form the recess into which the Holding element with the section having the web is pushed, a third approach with its end face the stop for the free end sections of the holding element is and two fourth approaches the support part for the as Coil spring sections are.

Bei einem Verstellen des Verstellelementes (4) schwenkt der Reflektor (1) um die horizontale Achse (20).A headlight for vehicles has a plastic existing pot-shaped housing (5), which by a bowl-shaped translucent lens (18) is completed. In a gutter of the outer circumferential A seal (19) is inserted on the edge of the housing (5) which the end plate (18) with its outer surrounding edge fits tightly. In the of the pot-shaped Housing (5) and the end plate (18) formed interior the headlight is made of plastic cup-shaped reflector (1) used, which by a horizontal axis (20) and a vertical axis (21) is pivotable. The horizontal axis (20) is one stationary joint (22) and a joint, not shown formed, which is between a manually adjustable Adjustment element and the rear of the reflector (1) is arranged. The vertical axis (21) is formed by the fixed joint (22) and a joint (23), which in a distance below the joint (22) and between the Rear of the reflector (1) and a remotely adjustable Adjusting element (4) is arranged. If the Adjustment element (4) pivots the reflector (1) around horizontal axis (20).

The joint (23) is one of a spherical shell on the Back of the reflector (1) fastened fastener (11) and a ball head of the adjusting element (4). The connecting element (11) is made of plastic and self-locking with one on the back of the reflector (1) molded projection (24) connected. The Connecting element (11) points in the direction of insertion Seen reflector (1), directly behind the projection (24) Spherical shell, the inside of which is the contact surface (3) for the ball head of the adjusting element (4). The spherical shell has the projection (24) laterally projecting sections, while the side facing the light exit direction Undercut (8) is. Between the contact surface (3) Ball socket and the undercut (8) shows that Connecting element (11) obliquely to the direction of insertion running and towards the bottom of the pot-like housing (5) directed ramp surfaces (10). The contact surface (3) of the Ball shell of the connecting element (11) faces the bottom of the Housing (5) no undercut, so that Adjusting element (4) with its ball head light and simple can be inserted into and removed from the spherical shell is. The remotely adjustable adjustment element (4) has a cylindrical housing, which from the back of the Housing (5) forth in an opening (6) of the bottom of the housing (5) is inserted like a bayonet. The remotely adjustable Adjusting element (4) has an adjusting bolt (25), which with its free end in the direction of light emission is directed and at its free end the ball head of the Joint (23) carries. The adjustment bolt (25) is in the direction its longitudinal axis axially adjustable. A resilient Holding element (2), which is fixed to the bottom of the housing (5) is clamped, engages in the undercut (8) of the Connecting element (11) self-engaging and presses the to the adjusting element (4) open contact surface (3) Ball socket on the ball head of the adjustment element (4).

The resilient holding element (2) consists of spring wire and is seen in the direction of insertion of the reflector (1) U-shaped bent and stretched between the free end portions of its Leg the connecting element (11) firmly between them. On the inside of the bottom of the pot-shaped housing (5) are approaches (16) formed, which spacers and Fasteners for the holding element (2) are. A first one Approach (26) is sleeve-shaped and serves as Fasteners for a bolt-like fastener (17), which has a U-shaped leg with a head Holding element (2) close to that connecting the legs Ridge (15) overlaps and the legs against the end face of the first approach (26). Between the bolt-like Fastening element (17) and the web (15) is that Holding element (2) with a section around a transverse to the Leg extending bending axis to the back of the Headlights bent and into one between two second ones Approaches (27) of the bottom of the housing (5) existing Recessively inserted recess. One of the second two Lugs (27) protrude between the two legs of the holding element (2) through. Thus, the holding element (2) is in the area of its web (15) through the two approaches (27) transverse to Direction of insertion of the reflector (1) locked. By the bolt-like fastener (17), which is a screw is, the holding element (2) is only in the direction of insertion of the reflector (1) on the bottom of the housing (5) locked. Adjacent to the bolt-like fastening element (17) the holding element (2) has a section on both legs, which is about an axis running transversely to the legs a coil spring (13) is bent, the two Coil springs (13) to the free end section (7) of their Leg runs outwards, so that the distance of the free end portions (7) of the holding element (2) to each other is greater than the length of the web (15). The two Coil springs (13) each adjoin a fourth on the outside Approach (29) of the housing (5). This makes both of them Coil springs (13) between the two fourth approaches (29) held. Between the two coil springs (13) of the Holding element (2) and the joint (23) is at the bottom of the Housing (5) formed a third approach (28, the End face as a stop (9) for the free end sections (7) the holding element (2) is used. The holding element (2) is only to the stops when the adjustment element (4) is removed is.

The third attachment (28) has a spacer element (14) serving section, which is between the End portions (7) of the holding element (2) extends.
