- the material of the play areas adapts to any requirement through the subsoil, so it can be designed in any way by underlaying it with gravel and sand or other suitable materials and thus used to form obstacles (see above).
- a non-frost-free floor can be used for the game by simply underlaying the playing areas with gravel and sand.
- Removing the fairways is as easy as removing them: after vacuuming up the sand, the synthetic pile carpet is simply rolled up again. In this way it is also possible to use the playing fields only temporarily - for example in tournaments.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a golf-like game, which is a space-saving, weather-resistant, easy-care and even indoor version of the classic golf game due to special features in the construction of the associated playing field and some important rule changes.
- 1. The high land requirements and the landscape-changing design make permits very difficult and severely restrict the density of the grass golf courses.
- 2. The long distances on the site as well as the long blows (driving strokes) to overcome long distances limit the group of interested parties to particularly fit people.
- 3. The complex maintenance of grass golf courses creates high maintenance costs that can only be financed with high club fees, high entry fees or subsidies.
- 4. The exclusive playability of the grass golf courses in good weather and in summer scarcely increases the offer and also increases the prices.
Various inventions and practical approaches have dealt with these Problems dealt with and led to different solutions. Significant trends were the trend towards miniaturization (e.g. Mini-Golf) and, mostly closely related, the trend towards technology (e.g. DT 2405471 from 8.8.74, DT 2513095 A1 from 7.10.76, DE 3147211 A1 from 16.6.83, DE 3731738 A1 from 6.4.89, DE 4107717 A1 from 17.9.92). After temporary acceptance, however, the need for a new solution to the old problems is increasingly evident today.
- 1. a change in the course of the game and
- 2. concern a change in the playing surface.
To 1:
In order to limit the space requirement of the golf game (approx. 100 hectares), the course of the game is only reduced by the so-called "driving strokes". These shots are used only to cover large distances, are the least predictable (even in professional tournaments) and, above all, make older people fail the fastest. Since the game of golf is reduced to the "putting strokes" (also in tournaments) that are mostly decisive for the game (ie in the final approach of the ball to the hole) after the driving strokes have ceased, this variant of the game of golf becomes realistic, even by international standards Putting shots on areas comparable to golf are allowed, called "putting golf international" according to the invention.
To 2:
By dispensing with the driving strokes, a golf course can be largely reduced to the size of the actual playing areas, the greens, while maintaining realistic putting conditions and areas. According to the invention, therefore, the entire system consists of several (mostly 9 or 18) prefabricated, mutually independent play areas, the width of which is approximately between 3 and 6 meters and the length of approximately 15 and 30 meters. The up to 18 different prefabricated play areas can be distributed as narrowly or loosely as desired on the available area. In this way, putting golf international facilities are limited in size with a minimum space requirement of around 1000 square meters. Between the play areas, the play area can be designed, planted, embellished in any generous way.
The individual playing areas have in common that they each have at least one teeing point and at least one recess (a "hole") for receiving the game ball. Otherwise, they differ in their design with obstacles. As such, all floor conditions or facilities are understood that distract, hinder or make straight running of the ball impossible.
In order to improve the playability of the playing areas (greens) in terms of maintenance intensity, stress, weather resistance and suitability for indoor use, the greens are made according to the invention from long-pile artificial turf carpet which is filled with sand. The sand must be filled conscientiously and against the grain of the synthetic carpet in order to achieve optimal quality. When properly executed, a durable, water-permeable and resistant track with very good running properties for golf balls is created. Neither the sand nor the artificial turf alone would have the sum of all the desired properties.
The prefabricated surfaces made of plastic long pile carpet can be laid on any, reasonably flat, frost-free and solid surface. In this way, roads, parking lots, other asphalted or unpaved areas can also be used to set up a golf course. Filling with sand ensures ideal (weight-related) traction, which makes further fastening (e.g. bracing or gluing) superfluous. The water permeability of sand and artificial turf prevents the dreaded formation of mud in the rain when playing golf.
At the same time, the material of the play areas adapts to any requirement through the subsoil, so it can be designed in any way by underlaying it with gravel and sand or other suitable materials and thus used to form obstacles (see above). In the same way, a non-frost-free floor can be used for the game by simply underlaying the playing areas with gravel and sand.
Removing the fairways is as easy as removing them: after vacuuming up the sand, the synthetic pile carpet is simply rolled up again. In this way it is also possible to use the playing fields only temporarily - for example in tournaments.
The unproblematic use of sanded artificial turf carpets in golf saves encroachments on nature and makes complex building permit procedures unnecessary. It makes a change of location possible as well as a quick replacement or expansion of an existing system. Thanks to the rules of the game that are only minimally restricted in comparison to golf and the special design of the greens, the game of golf in the form of putting golf international can be widely used, since limited space, bad weather or even the cold seasons do not matter because of the use in halls play more, and high costs for care measures no longer arise.
