Definitions

  • the invention relates to a lock with a locking function to be released by inserting a regionally magnetized key card, in which the key card entrains a slide released by the magnetic tumbler pins.
  • Such a lock is known from WO-A-8 912 155.
  • the known locks of the aforementioned type are constructed in such a way that they have a slide having magnetic tumbler pins. Bearing recesses are provided in the slide for accommodating the tumbler pins, the tumbler pins interacting with a correspondingly polarized key card. By inserting the correct key card, the magnetic tumbler pins leave a locking plate so that the slide card can be moved by means of the key card.
  • the object of the invention is based on the object of increasing the use value of the lock in a lock of the type in question in a technically simple manner by means of a supplementary use function.
  • a lock of the type in question is created, which is complemented by a Usage function has an increased use value, characterized in that a part of the magnetic areas of the key in the release position of the slide causes a memory arranged in the lock to store data, preferably the date and time of the key insertion time, on the other hand, the user of the lock does not know whether this Saving is now (currently) in function or not.
  • the memory can then be provided for a plurality of key insertion times, for example twenty.
  • the key card to be inserted into the lock thus not only has a magnetized area containing the opening code combination matched to the lock, but also has a further magnetized partial area for initiating the date / time memory arranged in the lock.
  • the initiating part of the key is optically indistinguishable from the locking area, and it also does not influence the locking function of the lock, so that said part can be magnetized differently in the case of several key cards having the same opening code combination. It is also impossible to locate it without knowing the inside of the castle.
  • a sub-area of the magnetized key points can embody a personal user code, which then also stores in the memory who of a number of authorized persons has closed at a specific time. When the memory is called up, it is also output as a number, for example.
  • the memory can be designed in the form of a chip arranged in the lock housing, which contains the date / time and in each case stores a specific number of individual data associated with it in such a way that when a maximum number of individual data is exceeded, the first data are deleted again and replaced by new ones. With a maximum storage of, for example, twenty individual data, the date, time and possibly user code of the last twenty key insertion times are thus stored, provided the key cards are provided with a magnetized partial area which causes the memory.
  • the individual data stored in the chip can be called up. This can be realized, for example, by the chip of the lock being connected or being connectable to a computer unit which evaluates the individual data. Alternatively, it is also possible to call up the data directly at the lock via an interface. This can also be done after the storage has been removed and then possibly only at another point, for example as a service from the locking system supplier. This has advantages in terms of technology. B. in that after a theft in a hotel room the memory can be removed and checked / accessed unchanged under objective supervision. In principle, only a limited group of people can query the memory. Every insertion of an incorrect key is not stored in the memory because an incorrect key cannot bring the slide into the release position.
  • the memory can be commanded by means of sensors arranged in the lock housing, for example Hall probes and / or induction coils. By inserting a key card with a magnetized section then induction voltages are generated in the induction coils, which are evaluated by the chip. Then the battery for the memory / reader can possibly be omitted because of this self-supply.
  • the invention can advantageously also be applied to recodable locks.
  • a follow-up key is magnetized in the area of its opening code combination in such a way that after the same has been inserted, the combination of the lock is adjusted so that the previously valid guest key card no longer has the now valid opening code combination.
  • Such an embodiment is known for example from DE-OS 37 28 072.
  • the key cards of the guests could also be provided with a magnetized partial area that initiates the memory, with which the key card number can also be stored in addition to the data mentioned.
  • a lock with an increased security value is thus created.
  • the arrangement can also be such that a switch which interrogates the slide and / or the key card is provided, which, when the slide is in the forward position, activates the memory accordingly.
  • the memory can be powered by a battery arranged in the lock or embody a structural unit with it. In connection with the query of the data via an interface directly in the lock housing, the arrangement of the battery in the lock has the particular advantage that the lock can be attached to a door in the simplest way, without the need for cabling to supply the memory and to query the data must be made.
  • the locks can also be supplied with a free space for the corresponding control unit so that the associated hardware (memory, reader, battery, etc.) can be installed afterwards.
  • the free space can e.g. B. also be formed by an additional part, for. B. one that is designed as an angle.
  • One angle leg extends parallel to the screw surface and may be used for attachment. The other angle leg protrudes over the top of the lock to the key card slot, so that the key card moves in front of the front end of the angle leg to be read, for which purpose the appropriate hardware (memory, battery, reading device, etc.) are housed or can be.
  • a lock 1 designed according to the invention is attached to a door 2 - for example a hotel room door.
  • the lock 1 has a lock case 3 which is arranged on the outside of the door and has a rectangular plan, which has an actuating handle 4 at one end. With their help, a trap 5 can be withdrawn.
  • An inside turning handle 6 arranged on the inside of the door 2, on the other hand, is directly connected to the latch 5, so that a door opening can always take place from this side of the door 2.
  • the lock case 3 is provided at the end opposite the actuating handle 4 with an insertion slot 7 for a key card 8 magnetized in some areas, a magnetized area C containing the opening code combination and a second partial area I for initiating a memory S arranged in the lock 1 . Furthermore, the lock case 3 receives a lock mechanism 9.
  • the latter has a bottom part 10, a middle part 11 and a cover part 12.
  • the half-shell-like bottom part 10 is connected to the middle part 11 by means of screws 13. These two aforementioned parts 10 and 11 are previously plugged together, starting from the central part 11 in the direction of the bottom part 10 centering feet 14 which engage in niches 15 provided for this purpose in the bottom part 10.
  • the screws 13 serve at the same time to fix the cover part 12.
  • housing side walls 17 extend in the card insertion direction and are provided at the end of the card insertion end with inward-directed support tabs 18 into which the screws 13 engage.
  • the end of the cover part 12 opposite the insertion slot 7 has a tongue 19 which engages in a recess 20 of a dome 21 of the middle part 11 when the cover part 12 is pushed onto the middle part 11.
  • a rear grip is achieved at the end of the side walls 17 opposite the tongue 19, for which purpose hook-shaped projections 22 and 23 overlap from the middle part 11 and cover part 12.
  • the cover part 12 consists of plastic. Between the cover part 12 and the middle part 11 is also made of plastic, plate-shaped slide 25 is guided. With its one broad side, the slide 25 rests on the middle part 11.
  • the opposite guide surface forms a locking plate 26 made of brass, which is inserted into the cover part 12 and is immovably fixed there with laterally projecting sections.
  • the holes 29 of the locking plate 26 are aligned in the in FIG. 10 shown locking position of the lock 1 with a through hole formed bearing recesses 30 of the slider 25.
  • Magnetic tumbler pins 31 are in the bearing recesses 30.
  • tumbler pin 31 it is not necessary to provide a tumbler pin 31 in each bearing recess 30, since the number, the position and the polarity of the tumbler pins 31 depend on the respective opening code combination of the lock 1. In particular, the area of the slide 25 assigned to the initiation area I of the key card 8 is not provided with tumbler pins 31.
  • baffle 32 On the other side of the locking plate 26 there is a baffle 32, also made of brass, with an anchor plate 33 opposite it. The latter is held in position by three compression springs 34. The aforementioned compression springs 34 are in turn supported on the cover part 12.
  • the anchor plate 33 consists of ferromagnetic material.
  • the armature plate 33 thus attracts the magnetic tumbler pins 31, which consequently engage in the holes 29 in the locking plate 26.
  • the slide 25 cannot be moved out of its basic position illustrated in FIG. 10, since the engagement of the tumbler pins 31 in the locking plate 26 fixed to the housing prevents this. It would be possible to provide part of the bearing recesses 30 of the slide 25 in rotating bodies of the slide, not shown, in order to be able to change the code by rotating these rotating bodies.
  • Both the anchor plate 33 and the guide plate 32 connect to the insertion slot 7 of the lock case 3.
  • Their front transverse edges 32 ', 33' are in angled in opposite directions and form a gusset for the key card 8 to be inserted.
  • the opposite broad areas of the guide plate 32 and anchor plate 33 represent the key card insertion slot 35.
  • a tension spring 36 serving as a return spring is fixed at one end to a cross pin 37 of the middle part 11.
  • This cross pin 37 extends from the side of the middle part 11 opposite the slider 25 and projects into the interior of the bottom part 10.
  • the other end of the tension spring 36 engages on a projection 39 of the slider 25 passing through a slot 38 of the middle part 11, whereby this in a stroke-limited home position is moved.
  • the projection 39 is also preceded by two bevelled lugs 40, 41 of the slider 25, which, like the projection 39, also pass through the middle part 11.
  • the bevels 40 ', 41' of the lugs 40, 41 are designed to run in the same direction. They engage on obliquely angled tabs 42, 43 of a web 44 of a tongue 45 made of spring material.
  • a central recess 46 of the same is penetrated by the nose 40.
  • the insertion-side end of the spring tongue 45 extends between the middle part 11 and the bottom part 10 and is fixed there by means of the screws 13 which pass through the through openings of the spring tongue 45.
  • the coupling sleeve 50 comprises a pinion 51, which has a collar 52 with a larger cross section in a bearing opening 53 of the bottom part 10 is arranged.
  • a diametrical slot 54 in which a hammer head-like end 55 of a presser mandrel 56 is immersed. The same is non-rotatably connected to the inner turning handle 6.
  • a gear 57 is located opposite the pinion 51. Both the toothed pinion 51 and the toothed wheel 57 have the same toothing and are adapted to the inner toothing of the coupling sleeve 50.
  • the gear 57 in turn is firmly connected to the external turning handle 4.
  • a centering pin 51 ' is used, which extends from the pinion 51 and which plunges into a cross-sectionally adapted blind bore 57' of the gearwheel 57. The same extends within the dome 21 of the middle part 11 and lies there with a larger cross section 57 ′′ in a bearing cavity 58 of the dome 21.
  • the coupling sleeve 50 In the uncoupled position, the coupling sleeve 50 only includes the pinion 51 and is accordingly not in engagement with the gear 57. A rotational displacement of the external turning handle 4 therefore does not result in entrainment of the pinion 51 and thus the trigger mandrel 56. So that the coupling sleeve 50 does not undesirably assume its basic position a compression spring D comprising the coupling sleeve 50 is provided, which is supported at one end on the inside of the dome 21 and at the other end acts on a collar 50 'of the coupling sleeve 50.
  • the slide 25 is equipped with one stop cam 59 each. These cooperate with lateral spring sections 60 of the tongue 45, which spring sections 60 with locking lugs 60 'cooperate with the stop cams 59.
  • a form-locking coupling can be produced between the key card 8 and the slider 25.
  • the positive-locking coupling is formed by a pin 62 mounted in a bore 61 of the slide 25.
  • the bore 61 is located at the mouth end of the key card insertion slot 35.
  • the two ends 63, 64 of the pin 62 are conical.
  • the total length of the pin 62 is greater than the thickness of the slider 25.
  • the conical end 64 facing the middle part 11 engages in the end displacement position of the slider 25 in a frustoconical recess 65 of the lock housing or of the middle part 11. The depth of this recess 65 is less than the height of the conical end 64.
  • the other conical end 63 projects beyond the other broad surface of the slide 25 and projects into the key card insertion slot 35 in such a way that the conical end 63 is supported on the anchor plate 33 by passing through a longitudinal slot 66 of the guide plate 32.
  • the pin 62 acts together with a recess 67 in the key card 8.
  • a chip 68 serving as a memory S is arranged in the center of the cover part 12.
  • the latter is powered by a battery arranged in the lock case 3 but not shown.
  • two induction coils 69, 70 are located in front of the chip 68, as seen in the direction of displacement of the slide 25, which are connected to the chip 68.
  • the arrangement is such that the induction coils 69, 70 lie outside the area of the ferromagnetic armature plate 33.
  • the lock 1 If the lock 1 is to be actuated from the outside by means of the external turning handle 4, it is necessary to insert the key card 8 provided with the area C having the corresponding opening code combination into the insertion slot 7. It displaces the anchor plate 33 acted upon by the compression springs 34 in the transverse direction. In the fully inserted position, the key card 8, with its insert-side end edge 8 ', comes in front of a slide stop 25' pointing in the direction of the cover part 12. In this position, the magnetic tumbler pins 31 are shifted by means of the opening code combination area C of the key card 8 such that they leave the holes 29 in the blocking plate 26.
  • the end 63 of the pin 62 facing the key card insertion slot 35 is aligned with the recess 67 of the key card 8.
  • the key card 8 can now be moved further, with the slide 25 being dragged against the force of the tension spring 36.
  • the recess 65 in conjunction with the conical end 64, causes the pin 62 to be driven in such a way that, as illustrated in FIG. 11, it dips into the recess 67 of the key card 8.
  • the latching lugs 60 'of the spring sections 60 engage behind the stop cams 59 of the slide 25 and hold it in the forward position.
  • the web 44 was acted upon by the bevel 40 'of the nose 40 and the spring tongue 45 was pivoted about its clamping points. Since the free, forked end 48 of the tongue 45 is in engagement with the coupling sleeve 50, this is displaced such that it then also overlaps the gear 57. Since both gear wheels 51, 57 are now encompassed by the coupling sleeve 50, the external turning handle can be used 4 the lock 1 are operated.
  • the initiation area I of the key card 8 enters the area of the induction coils 69, 70, so that the resulting changes, for example the magnetic field, generate induction voltages in the induction coils 69, 70.
  • induction voltages cause data, in particular the date and time and possibly user code, to be stored in memory S.
  • other sensors for example Hall sensors, which also address several magnetic individual points of the key can also be used.
  • the slide 25 must first be advanced in order to initiate the memory S.
  • Key cards 8 with an opening code combination area C not coordinated with the lock 1 therefore do not cause any storage of data. It is only registered when the key card 8 has been moved so far in the lock 1 that the door can be unlocked in any case.
  • twenty individual data can be registered in such a way that when this number of pieces is exceeded, the first data are deleted again and replaced by the new data.
  • the stored data can be queried via an interface (not shown) and / or via removal of the memory or only after removal. It can also be exchanged for an unused one.
  • the arrangement can be such that induction coils 69, 70 are provided in the area of the key box insertion slot 35.
  • initiation area I is also positioned on the key card. Whose magnetic field is coming So then also the further function of switching the memory on.
  • a switch can also be arranged in the area of the lock case 3 opposite the insertion slot 7, which only causes the memory S to store data when the slide 25 is in the forward position.
  • the slider 25 When the key card 8 is withdrawn, the slider 25 is inevitably moved into the final displacement position via the pin 62 which has entered the key card 8. It thereby comes into alignment with the recess 65 and thus allows the key card 8 to be removed completely.
  • the catch between the stop cams 59 and the catch tabs 60 'of the spring tongue 45 was overcome in such a way that the starting position is again present.
  • the coupling sleeve was moved back in that the other nose 41 with its inclined surface 41 'acts on the tab 43 of the web 44 and thus also returns the spring tongue 45 to its end position.
