Description

The invention relates to a garbage container with a garbage container hull, on the upper edge of the front wall, a hanging bar is formed, which has a horizontal and a parallel to the front wall of the garbage container hull leg, limits a downwardly open receiving cavity and in which one with a data carrier in Form of a chip populated chip holder is arranged.

In a garbage container known from DE 93 02 947 U1, a hole is machined into the horizontal leg of the hanging bar for the subsequent insertion of the chip holder. The chip holder is designed as a cartridge and has an annular cross section. The cartridge is inserted into the hole from above. It is secured by an adapted clamping piece, which is placed on the cartridge from below.

The disadvantage of this embodiment is that the chip holder is in two parts, ie it consists of the cartridge and the clamping piece. Two tools are therefore required. Accordingly, the insertion of the chip holder is correspondingly complex. However, it is particularly disadvantageous that the bore lies in the horizontal bar, which does not provide adequate protection if, for example, the comb strip of the pouring device, which is retracted into the receiving cavity, exerts a compressive force when the waste container is emptied. In addition, a joint is created through which moisture can penetrate. It is also essential that the reinforcing ribs underneath are also removed when the bore is made.

The invention has for its object to design a garbage container of the type described in the introduction in such a way that garbage containers equipped subsequently with a chip are designed in such a way that the chip is optimally protected in the receiving cavity, and that the chip holder can be inserted in the simplest possible way .

The object is achieved in that the chip holder contains a profile body, which is inserted adjacent to the horizontal leg, closing into an insertion opening of the leg of the hanging strip parallel or approximately parallel to the front wall, and on which at least one snap element is formed, the free end of which corresponds to the insertion opening delimiting border on the inside.

The solution according to the invention creates a chip holder which is designed as a one-piece molded part and can be fixed in the receiving cavity without further fastening elements, such as rivets, screws or the like. For retrofitting, it is only necessary that the opening, for example by means of a template, is made in the leg of the mounting strip which is parallel or approximately parallel to the front wall. The position of the insertion opening depends on the design of the lifting and tipping device of the refuse collection vehicle. The horizontal leg protruding from the container body provides extremely secure protection for the chip used. Even if one assumes that the chip holder moves a little, this horizontal leg offers an abutment when emptying the waste container, so that the same position is always taken to collect the data. Since the hanging bar is often reinforced by reinforcing ribs on the inside, the insertion opening could also be placed in such a way that the chip is supported on the lower edges of the ribs when emptying.

Retrofitting a refuse container is extremely easy to carry out, since, depending on the version, the chip can be inserted into the receptacle of the chip holder from above and then this unit is inserted into the insertion opening. The chip element is secured against being pulled out of the insertion opening by the snap element or the snap elements. When the chip holder is inserted into the receiving cavity through the insertion opening, the snap element deforms so that it can be pushed through the insertion opening. As soon as the chip holder has reached its final position, it lies in the receiving cavity, so that the edge delimiting the insertion opening is gripped from the inside. Each snap element is expediently a spring bar.

To cover the joint, it is provided in a further embodiment that the profile body has a cover flange which lies on the outside against the edge delimiting the insertion opening. This cover flange is also a stop that limits the insertion movement of the chip holder.

The chip can be designed such that it can be inserted into a receiving pot before the chip holder is inserted into the receiving cavity. However, for the cost-effective, simplified embodiment, it is also possible for the functional parts of the chip to be introduced directly into the chip holder, for example cast in, so that the housing of the chip is formed by the adjacent parts of the chip holder.

The garbage container, not shown as a whole, is manufactured by plastic injection molding. On the front wall 10 opposite the lid hinges is a Shaped cross-section angular suspension strip 11, which consists of a horizontal leg 12 standing at right angles to the front wall 10 and molded thereon and a vertical leg 13. The free end region of the vertical leg 13 is angled outwards so that the gripping rail of a lifting and tipping device can move into the receiving cavity 14 delimited by the hanging bar 11 and the front wall 10. A rectangular insertion opening 15 is used in the vertical leg 13 in the area parallel to the front wall 10, it being possible for the width to be substantially greater than the height. A chip holder 16 designed as a one-piece molded plastic part is inserted into this insertion opening. The chip holder 16 consists of a circularly circular receiving pot 17 and a profile body 18, the outer contour of which corresponds to the inner contour of the insertion opening 15, so that the chip holder 16 is inserted into the insertion opening 15 in a closing manner. On the side opposite the receptacle 17, the profile body 18 is provided with a cover flange 19 which bears on the outside against the edge delimiting the insertion opening 15. Figures 1 and 2 clearly show that a chip inserted into the chip holder 16 lies in the receiving cavity 14, so that the necessary data can be detected by a reader of the lifting and tipping device. The receptacle 17 is open on the upper side facing the horizontal leg 12, so that the chip can be inserted into the receptacle 17 before the chip holder 16 is inserted. The chip can be fixed in the receiving pot 17 in any manner. For example, it is conceivable that the bottom of the receiving pot 17 is provided with a bore 20 which is smaller than the inside diameter of the receiving pot 17, so that an annular support surface 21 is created for the chip. In a manner not shown, however, it is also possible for the functional parts of the chip to be included in the chip holder 16 can be cast or injected, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. The wall of the chip is then formed by the adjacent parts of the chip holder 16. To secure the chip holder 16, spring bars 22, 23, which act as snap elements, are formed on the receiving pot 17 on two opposite sides. When the chip holder is inserted into the insertion opening 15, they are moved towards one another. As soon as the chip holder 16 has reached its end position, they jump outwards due to the built-up restoring forces, so that the free ends engage behind the edge delimiting the insertion opening 15 from the inside. FIG. 2 shows that disassembly of the chip holder 16 is only possible if the spring bars 22, 23 are pressed together again from below with a suitable tool. The outside diameter of the receptacle 17 could be 35 mm, for example. Accordingly, the width of the insertion opening 15 should also be in the range of 35 mm. The height of the receptacle 17 and the height of the insertion opening 15 could be 10 mm, for example.

If reinforcing ribs are formed on the inside of the horizontal leg 12, the insertion opening could be placed in such a way that the chip holder can be supported on the free edges of the reinforcing ribs. By supporting the chip holder 16 on the free ends of the reinforcing ribs or on the underside of the horizontal leg, no bending forces are built up during emptying. In the embodiment shown, the ribs lying behind are removed when the insertion opening 15 is produced. In FIG. 1, the lower edges of the ribs are identified by reference number 24.

In the refuse container according to the invention, the horizontal leg is not weakened because a cutout is omitted. This is favorable for the resilience, because when emptying the Garbage container the force is transmitted via the horizontal leg 12 to the rail of the lifting and tipping device. Since the chip holder is a one-piece molded part, assembly is particularly simple. It also ensures that no parts are lost. For the waste containers already used, a suitable template could be supplied with the chip holder so that the insertion opening is also made at the correct location. Furthermore, the interior of the chip can also be introduced directly into the chip holder 16 in the opening 17 and, for example, subsequently cast. In the illustrated embodiment, the receptacle 17 of the chip holder 16 is circular in cross section. However, it can also have a cross-section deviating from the circular shape.

The chip holder 16 inserted into the receiving cavity 14 according to FIGS. 5 to 7 has a receiving pot 17 which is designed in a ring shape. The two end faces are open. For reasons of the simplified representation, only the chip holder 16 is shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. The inner surface of this chip holder 16 is provided with an inner profile 25, which in the embodiment according to FIG. 5 is an internal thread 26. The chip inserted into the receptacle 17 then needs a corresponding external thread so that it can be screwed into the receptacle 17. Additional securing means can be provided so that it cannot be unscrewed. In the embodiments according to FIGS. 6 and 7, the profiling 25 is formed by a circumferential bead 27 in each case. In the embodiment shown, the bead 27 protrudes from the inner surface of the receptacle 17. The chip used should then have an appropriately designed groove, so that the chip is locked or hooked. At 6, the bead 27 is triangular or wedge-shaped, while in the embodiment according to FIG. 7, the bead 27 is a semicircle. In contrast to the embodiment shown, it is also conceivable that the bulge is integrally formed on the chip and the receptacle 17 has a corresponding groove. The bead 27 can be circumferential or can also extend over predetermined angular ranges. Since the chip holder 16 is a plastic part, a positive and / or non-positive fixing takes place.

Dadurch läßt sich der Chiphalter 16 leichter einführen, da eventuell vorhandene Fertigungstoleranzen ausgeglichen werden.5a shows a chip holder 16 with a lower height than the previous embodiments. The milling in the receiving cavity 14 is, however, larger than the outer dimensions of the chip holder 16. This creates a gap 28. This makes the chip holder 16 easier to insert, since any existing manufacturing tolerances are compensated for.
