Definitions
- the invention relates to a sliding gate, in particular sliding gate base bar with a selectable design attached to this door structure, which is movable back and forth in the direction of displacement by means of a fixedly arranged drive motor unit, which has an output pinion, which in a on the door leaf or base bar fixed rack design engages meshing, the rack design being composed of a series of toothed rack segments which are successively inserted into a fixed retaining rail and run in the direction of displacement of the door leaf and which are produced as castings and are fixed to one another in their sequential order,
- Sliding gates of the type in question here can be guided and supported in a rolling manner on rails on the bottom, but they can also be moved over guide roller blocks which only extend over a fraction of the length of the door leaf, to the extent that they can be moved into the closed position and back in the manner of a sliding barrier without touching the ground.
- the gates of the type in question here are arranged in a stationary manner and are provided with an output pinion which extends over the length of the door leaf in the direction of displacement (well the width of the gate opening to be closed) or at least the respectively used displacement path extending toothing engagement engages.
- Comparably constructed friction drives are also known, in which, however, the driven friction wheel of the drive motor unit must bear pressure against a corresponding, rail-shaped friction rail and, due to possible slippage, a simulation of the displacement distance in the frame of the drive unit causes problems.
- the invention has for its object to provide a sliding gate of the type mentioned, the door leaf-side rack and pinion training adaptable to almost any length of the door leaf and - in particular manufactured in large quantities - cheaper to manufacture and trained against impact-related wear and tear.
- this object is achieved according to the invention in that the toothed rack formation in its entirety is guided in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail and that the toothed rack formation in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail with an intermediate arrangement of elastically flexible buffers via holding elements fixed on the Holding rail or the sliding gate is supported.
- the overall advantage is to be able to provide a rack of practically any length, all of which are inexpensive because of their manufacture from cast parts which do not require any further processing as finished parts Can be made available.
- the holding rail which is preferably made of metal on the basis of aluminum as a continuous casting or extruded profile, is preferably formed in one piece over the sliding distance and can be cut according to the length of the door leaf, the final length being able to be matched to the sum of the lengths of the rack segments to be used . Then rack end segments can be used, which allow the row of rack segments to be supported in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail at their respective front ends.
- the rail itself is screwed to the door leaf or the door leaf base.
- the rack design is slidably mounted in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail according to the invention and is supported at both ends on the holding rail or the sliding gate base with the interposition of spring-elastic buffer elements.
- a resilient buffer support could only be provided at one end of the rack design if there are appropriate drive conditions.
- the retaining rail formation will be spring-elastic on both of its front ends Support buffer elements so that start-up loads are absorbed in a correspondingly spring-elastic manner, both when closing and when opening the door, and loads on the drive and wear on the motion transmission parts are reduced accordingly. This achieves a significantly longer service life and enables a weaker drive unit.
- the resilient buffers provided on the end face consist of a plastic having a corresponding material property, in particular a soft polyurethane.
- metallic spring elements for example leaf springs, coil springs or the like, can also be provided, and traditional rubber elements are also suitable.
- the rack segments could in principle be butt-knocked successively in their assignment by defining the individual or at least the end segments of the row of rack segments, whereby butt-knocking can also mean an oblique, arrow-shaped or similar parting line between the elements, also one in which the Tooth flank formation in the transition area between two adjacent segments is made available in part by one and in part by the other segment, so that the transition of a tooth flank comprises tooth formations in the adjacent area of two successive rack segments.
- an engagement formation is provided between two successive rack segments, which consists of a plug part formed on one segment and a receiving part formed on the other segment, the formation being able to be such that the plug part is inserted into a corresponding recess in the receiving part from the direction facing away from the teeth, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the segments out so that there is a positive, tensile and compressive connection between the segments.
- a connection could also be provided by plugging in from a different direction, but preferably in principle approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rack design.
- rack segments which are identically shaped in a uniform manner and which each comprise only a fraction of the total length, for example in the range of 100 mm, are used for a toothed rack formation extending over the sliding length of the sliding gate.
- the segments are in particular produced as plastic injection molded parts, and preferably in such a way that they form shell bodies insofar as the walls of the tooth formations, such as those of the base section carrying these, can be formed on the guide projections for use in corresponding grooves in the holding rail, and those of the plug part and the receiving part and any provided stiffening ribs are kept approximately the same thickness.
- the toothing of the toothed rack formation and thus that of the individual toothed segments with respect to the longitudinal tooth flank profile can be arranged so as to deviate somewhat from the perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the segments, to which tooth flank profile the drive pinion is then adapted accordingly.
- FIG. 1 shows the view of a door leaf base 1 from the side of the motor drive unit (not shown), on the output shaft of which is shown in section, an output pinion 2 is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner, which has helical toothing in a correspondingly helically toothed rack design, generally designated 3 engages, which consists of a holding rail 4 and a number in succession in these rack segments 5.5 ', 5''.. used.
- Each of the toothed rack segments 5, 5 ', 5''.. is provided on its side facing the output pinion 2 with a tooth formation 6, which is formed in the course of injection molding the toothed rack segments and requires no further processing.
- the tooth formations 6 of the successive rack segments 5, 5 ', 5''.. are made in such a way that a continuous toothing from segment to segment results.
- one or more tooth flanks in the transition area between two adjacent elements perpendicular or oblique to the longitudinal direction of the holding rail can be composed of partial areas, one of which is assigned to one segment and the other of which is assigned to the other segment. Due to the connection between successive segments to be explained in more detail in connection with FIG. 3, tooth flank formations can result in particular, the central region of which is formed by the tooth formation of the other segment as seen from the teeth formation of the one segment and the edge regions in the oblique course of the toothing.
- each of these engagement configurations consists of a plug part 10 and a receiving part 11.
- the plug part 10, which on each of the rack segments 5, 5 ', 5''... on one end, for example on the left in the picture, of a each of the segments is shaped, engages in the receiving part 11 which is formed at the other end in each case - on the right in the figure.
- the segments are therefore identical to one another.
- the plug part 10 is approximately T-shaped when viewed in plan view of the teeth 6, the T-cross bar 13 extending perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the segment 5, 5 ', 5''...
- the receiving part 11 each has a recess 14 which is adapted in cross section to the T-crossbar and the associated web of the plug part 10, which cannot be seen from the drawing.
- the connection between two rack segments 5 'and 5'' is made such that the one plug part 5''in the direction of the arrow shown there with its plug part 10 is inserted into the recess of the receiving part 11 is, that is from the side facing away from the teeth 6 and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the segments.
- the segments 5 and 5 'shown on the right in FIG. 3 are in this connection state to be brought about in this way, in which the plug part 10 is transferred into the receiving part 11 and the engagement formation 9 thus exists.
- the tooth formation 6 of each segment is formed above a base section 12 which has lateral guide projections 7 with which the segments 5, 5 ', 5''... Are inserted into the holding rail 4 only in the longitudinal direction thereof, namely such that the guide projections 7 engage in holding grooves 8 of the profile of the holding rail 4, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 2.
- Each of the segments, some or only the respective segments 5 arranged in their end regions after the holding rail 4 has been completely filled up, are fixed in this position, so that the entire row of the segments is fixed in the longitudinal direction.
- the holding rail 4 has two parallel, lateral contact areas 17 with which it is attached to the door leaf base 1 is fixed by means of screws 18.
- the holding rail results in a type of roof function for the segments 5, 5 ', 5''.
- the individual toothed rack segments 5, 5 ', 5''.. are designed in the form of a bowl insofar as practically all the walls are of approximately the same thickness, these are the walls of the base, the teeth formation of the plug part and of the receiving part and of struts 15, which is outlined for shape stabilization within that of the base portion 12 and its guide projections 7 and the inside of the tooth formation 6.
- FIG. 4 shows the two end regions seen in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail.
- the respective end pieces of the rack design are supported on their opposite ends by buffer elements 19, which consist of a soft polyurethane.
- the buffer elements themselves are fixed to the holding rail at a distance from the two end faces required for the intended spring movement, each with screw-shaped holding elements 20.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sliding gate, in particular sliding gate base bar with a selectable design attached to this door structure, which is movable back and forth in the direction of displacement by means of a fixedly arranged drive motor unit, which has an output pinion, which in a on the door leaf or base bar fixed rack design engages meshing, the rack design being composed of a series of toothed rack segments which are successively inserted into a fixed retaining rail and run in the direction of displacement of the door leaf and which are produced as castings and are fixed to one another in their sequential order,
Sliding gates of the type in question here can be guided and supported in a rolling manner on rails on the bottom, but they can also be moved over guide roller blocks which only extend over a fraction of the length of the door leaf, to the extent that they can be moved into the closed position and back in the manner of a sliding barrier without touching the ground. In In any case, the gates of the type in question here are arranged in a stationary manner and are provided with an output pinion which extends over the length of the door leaf in the direction of displacement (well the width of the gate opening to be closed) or at least the respectively used displacement path extending toothing engagement engages. Comparably constructed friction drives are also known, in which, however, the driven friction wheel of the drive motor unit must bear pressure against a corresponding, rail-shaped friction rail and, due to possible slippage, a simulation of the displacement distance in the frame of the drive unit causes problems.
It is known - DE-AS 15 59 961 - to engage the output pinion in a metal toothed rack which extends over the displacement path, the toothing of which is produced by milling and, depending on the required service life and smoothness, requires additional, even more complex machining. In this case, temperature fluctuations over the length of the toothed rack are noticeably noticeable for the gearbox intervention, rust effects and thus wear occur under the weather, so that a correspondingly considerable amount of maintenance is required. When using a chain drive, there are similar disadvantages, because the intended engagement between the driving and driven part works from the outset not very precisely and unroll-friendly, which is why noise, wear and tear and the risk of rust and maintenance are to be assessed similarly to the rack mentioned above.
It is also known - DE-GM 84 00 934.9 - to provide, instead of a milled toothed rack, a toothed belt which extends in the direction of displacement of the door leaf under pretension, the deformability of which allows, in a large wrap angle range around the output pinion of the drive motor unit which engages in its toothing to be led around. Such a toothed belt, which is freely tensioned, must be able to absorb considerable tensile stresses in itself and presents certain problems with regard to its guidance. In addition, due to the desired high wrap angle, continuous deformation work has to be carried out on the toothed belt. This could be avoided by means of a toothed rack made of plastic, which, however, would then have to be manufactured as a solid object based on the known ideas, again as a machining-intensive component.
The aforementioned prior art also suffers from the particular disadvantage that the forces exerted on the rack by the drive are immediate, i.e. transmitted undamped. However, sliding gates of the type in question are generally not lightweight objects but have a high inertial mass, so that in the course of the rigid motion transmission considerable impact forces occur when starting up, which strain the drive and, above all, result in considerable material loads and wear .
The invention has for its object to provide a sliding gate of the type mentioned, the door leaf-side rack and pinion training adaptable to almost any length of the door leaf and - in particular manufactured in large quantities - cheaper to manufacture and trained against impact-related wear and tear.
Starting from a sliding gate with the features mentioned above, this object is achieved according to the invention in that the toothed rack formation in its entirety is guided in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail and that the toothed rack formation in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail with an intermediate arrangement of elastically flexible buffers via holding elements fixed on the Holding rail or the sliding gate is supported.
First of all, through the measures to assemble the rack design from a series of rack segments to be inserted one after the other in a rail, i.e. from relatively small lengths of the desired rack, so that the subdivision already allows for adaptation to different gate lengths, and further because the individual Segments of this rack design are each produced as a cast part, in particular a plastic injection-molded part, the overall advantage is to be able to provide a rack of practically any length, all of which are inexpensive because of their manufacture from cast parts which do not require any further processing as finished parts Can be made available. The holding rail, which is preferably made of metal on the basis of aluminum as a continuous casting or extruded profile, is preferably formed in one piece over the sliding distance and can be cut according to the length of the door leaf, the final length being able to be matched to the sum of the lengths of the rack segments to be used . Then rack end segments can be used, which allow the row of rack segments to be supported in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail at their respective front ends. The rail itself is screwed to the door leaf or the door leaf base.
To prevent wear-causing and drive-stressing shock loads, the rack design is slidably mounted in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail according to the invention and is supported at both ends on the holding rail or the sliding gate base with the interposition of spring-elastic buffer elements. In principle, such a resilient buffer support could only be provided at one end of the rack design if there are appropriate drive conditions. As a rule, the retaining rail formation will be spring-elastic on both of its front ends Support buffer elements so that start-up loads are absorbed in a correspondingly spring-elastic manner, both when closing and when opening the door, and loads on the drive and wear on the motion transmission parts are reduced accordingly. This achieves a significantly longer service life and enables a weaker drive unit.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the resilient buffers provided on the end face consist of a plastic having a corresponding material property, in particular a soft polyurethane. In an equivalent embodiment, metallic spring elements, for example leaf springs, coil springs or the like, can also be provided, and traditional rubber elements are also suitable.
The rack segments could in principle be butt-knocked successively in their assignment by defining the individual or at least the end segments of the row of rack segments, whereby butt-knocking can also mean an oblique, arrow-shaped or similar parting line between the elements, also one in which the Tooth flank formation in the transition area between two adjacent segments is made available in part by one and in part by the other segment, so that the transition of a tooth flank comprises tooth formations in the adjacent area of two successive rack segments. In a preferred embodiment, however, an engagement formation is provided between two successive rack segments, which consists of a plug part formed on one segment and a receiving part formed on the other segment, the formation being able to be such that the plug part is inserted into a corresponding recess in the receiving part from the direction facing away from the teeth, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the segments out so that there is a positive, tensile and compressive connection between the segments. Of course, such a connection could also be provided by plugging in from a different direction, but preferably in principle approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rack design.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, rack segments which are identically shaped in a uniform manner and which each comprise only a fraction of the total length, for example in the range of 100 mm, are used for a toothed rack formation extending over the sliding length of the sliding gate. The segments are in particular produced as plastic injection molded parts, and preferably in such a way that they form shell bodies insofar as the walls of the tooth formations, such as those of the base section carrying these, can be formed on the guide projections for use in corresponding grooves in the holding rail, and those of the plug part and the receiving part and any provided stiffening ribs are kept approximately the same thickness.
In a further preferred embodiment, the toothing of the toothed rack formation and thus that of the individual toothed segments with respect to the longitudinal tooth flank profile can be arranged so as to deviate somewhat from the perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the segments, to which tooth flank profile the drive pinion is then adapted accordingly.

The partial side view according to FIG. 1 shows the view of a door leaf base 1 from the side of the motor drive unit (not shown), on the output shaft of which is shown in section, an
In FIG. 1, an engagement formation between successive
In the present exemplary embodiment, the

As can be seen from FIG. 3, the individual
The side view according to FIG. 4 — insofar similar to FIG. 1 — shows the two end regions seen in the longitudinal direction of the holding rail. The respective end pieces of the rack design are supported on their opposite ends by
