Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for salting out salt caverns for storing Natural gas.
In "Erdöl, Erdgas, Kohle" 104, 1988, Heft 2, Seiten 75,
76 und "Bergbau" 1983, Heft 9, Seite 418, ist das Aussolen
von Salzkavernen beschrieben. In "Petroleum, Natural Gas, Coal" 104, 1988,
In addition to brine extraction for industrial processing, the brining of caverns in the salt rock serves to create cavities for storing liquid or gaseous substances and for landfilling. The creation of caverns for storing natural gas with a usable volume of up to 700,000 m 3 is of great importance for the energy supply of municipal and industrial customers. With the sol technology used up to now, the depth and the geometric shape of the salt cavern are determined by the mountain structure as well as by a geomechanical calculation and evaluation.
A cavern bore is initially used for the brine then cavern hose through the overburden sunk into the salt dome and through a Cemented pipe tour reaching to the cavern roof secured. In this cemented pipe tour there are two concentrically interlinked flushing pipe strands, the outer Flush pipe tour, built-in. About the annulus between the outer flush pipe tour and the cemented pipe tour a blanket medium is pumped in. This blank medium consists of mineral oil, for example light Fuel oil or a liquefied propane-butane mixture. Because of the blanket medium covers the lower density compared to the brine the current cavern roof while soling from and thereby prevents a solitary in the on preferred direction of resolution takes place upwards. In this way, a controlled bridging in the underlying cavern area guaranteed.
There are basically two sol processes and their combination to disposal. With indirect drainage, fresh water becomes through the annulus of the two flushing pipes into the cavern initiated and climbs while dealing with the already mixes existing brine to the respective cavern roof on. The only partially saturated brine flows under further concentration down in the area of the cavern wall and becomes with the highest satiety through the inner Flushed pipe tour in the cavern deepest.
With direct brine, the fresh water is through the inner Flushing pipe tour pumped into the cavern flows outside of the inner tube due to the lower density opposite the brine to the respective cavern roof, concentrated on the way there and is in the annulus back out of the cavern between the two rinsing pipes deducted. As a rule, with direct brine do not produce saturated brine.
In practice, the brine is usually used as a combination both procedures with the help of a computer-aided Sol simulation process carried out.
The sol technology development of the cavern is dependent on the respective brine process - directly or indirectly - and on the sedimentation level of the rinsing pipes and the sol rate. The blanket level is kept at the same depth as possible during the individual Aussolph phases. The use of larger blanket quantities to cover large volume areas is associated with considerable financial expenditure with the blanket media already mentioned. For example, in order to cover the upper third area with light heating oil for a small cavern with a volume of 150,000 m 3 compared to the volume mentioned at the beginning, approx. 50,000 m 3 of light heating oil with costs of approx. DM 25 million are required. This is not economically justifiable.
The brine that arises when brining caverns is either derived for industrial processing, in deep rock layers lowered or environmentally friendly Pumped sea or in river systems near the sea.
After completion of the soling and the final echometric measurement the rinsing pipes are removed from the cavern installed the underground equipment for later gas operation as well as the gas delivery head.
Before the start of gas storage, after the brine has to be bred Brine still in the cavern with the storage medium Gas will be displaced. For this purpose, a brine removal line is used built into the hole up to the cavern floor. The gas is passed through the annulus between the gas production tour and the brine swaging strand and displaces the brine up to the brine removal line over days. After the brine displacement has ended, the Brine removal line with the help of a high pressure lock drawn. From this point on, the cavern stands for gas operation available.
Natural gas is stored in a cavern in the way that natural gas from the network, for example one Gas pipeline, via a measuring station and an upstream one Separator is fed to a compressor. After compressing to cavern pressure, the next one goes Path through an operational measurement and gas field lines in the cavern well.
Natural gas is withdrawn from a cavern in the way that the natural gas through the gas field lines, the Operational measurement and the cutter as well as preheating gets into a relaxation control. Here it is Natural gas from the high cavern head pressure to that in the Usually lower gas pipeline pressure relaxes. Of the Regulation is followed by gas drying and again a handover measurement to register the in the Quantity of gas fed into the grid.
The brine of salt caverns for the storage of natural gas with the use of those in the cavern Pressures and temperatures remaining gaseous, later Storage medium Natural gas as blanket medium is in the conference documents of the autumn conference 1986 of the Solution Mining Research Institutes entitled "Developing cavern storage in Western Canada ". The natural gas was used as a replacement for the blanket medium Diesel oil used. After the salt cavern all natural gas from the cavern was completed removed and replaced with water to make a final one Depth sounder test, the exchange of the rinsing tours, the installation of those intended for later gas operation To carry out fittings and the gas pressure test, before finally after the completion of the salt cavern remaining brine was removed.
The problem underlying the invention is a method and a facility for brining salt caverns for the storage of natural gas to create that is inexpensive can be carried out.
On the basis of this problem, a method for soling out is provided of salt caverns for storing natural gas with use of the pressures prevailing in the cavern and temperatures of gaseous, later storage medium Natural gas proposed as blanket medium at according to the invention that used as blanket medium Natural gas for gas operation in the isolated cavern remains.
In a further embodiment of the method can be used for soling one intended for later gas operation, one Underground equipment with a gas production tour above-ground gas delivery head and concentric, variable-length flush pipe tours in the overburden brought in and the soling over the irrigation pipe tours be performed. This is what will prevail in the cavern Pressures and temperatures remaining gaseous Natural gas storage medium as blanket medium with one Pressure is stored in the cavern so that a preset blanket level is set. The free Ends of inner and / or outer flush pipe tours depending on the blanket level to be set postponed, and the rinsing pipe tours remain End of soling in the gas production tour.
An inventive device for performing the Process for brining salt caverns for storage of natural gas consists of one in the overburden and in the Salt cemented pipe tour to the cavern roof, one sealed in it, also up to Cavern roof-reaching gas production tour with an open-air located, intended for later gas operation Gas delivery head and underground equipment, one of the Annulus between the cemented pipe tour and the Gas extraction tour filling protective liquid, one in the gas production tour hooked up, variable in length outer flushing pipe tour below the blanket level and one hooked into the outer flush pipe tour, variable length, inner flush pipe tour, whereby the outer and inner flush pipe tours after completion of the brine process remain in the gas production tour.
The device according to the invention thus already exists from underground equipment for later gas operation and the gas delivery head above ground; she points additionally only the outer flush pipe tour and the inner one Rinse pipe tour to be able to separate the cavern.
These pipes can be finished after the actual Sol process remain in the gas production tour, so that a later re-brining of those already in gas operation Caverns in any depth is possible.
An advantage of the method according to the invention and of that device used is that the Blanket medium natural gas at any time for supply purposes remove from the partially isolated cavern or into the cavern can be saved. For this, however, the soling must be temporarily interrupted.

In order to isolate a cavern, indirect isolation is used

und der äußeren Spülrohrtour 6 in die Druckleitung 7.The direct soling differs from the indirect one
